We sat at the bar, and there were other customers at tables enjoying a glass and engrossed in conversation. They offer a small snack menu, along with a selection of wines, and they have a good knowledge and will provide counsel on the options. We ordered the ricotta toast and the lonzo, a ham similar to prosciutto. Both were delicious! The lonzo comes with a drizzle of quality olive oil on top, and a sprinkle of salt, and a dab of mustard. The ricotta toast (no pic sorry) was also tasty. The space leans to industrial loft, but is warm and invites conversations and relaxation. The shop also has a retail space, and a monthly wine club subscription is an option. It is separated from the restaurant, but not a quirk of their shop, but archaic Vermont liquor laws. We decide to subscribe and picked up our first selections to take home.

This super quaint, but fun bar is the perfect place for a glass or two of natural wines. And, if you don't know much about natural wines the employees sure do. They can tell you about almost all the wines they serve and the best part...You can buy them right there as well. Yes, that's right! Due to their license you can sip and shop their selections. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up going twice. They had a tasting on Sunday where they opened up a few bottles and you get to try them all, for only $5 so it was a steal. I ended up bringing how a red wine from California. They also have small plates. We ended up sharing their olives and marcona almonds. I also had my 10 pound dog with me when it happened. I went inside and told a gentleman behind the counter what happened. He was nice and came outside with me and explained that the bench often gets backed into by cars in the parking lot and then it gets moved out of place. I have no idea why, if this is clearly a known issue, that the bench is not stabilized for safety reasons. If this happens next time to a child or an elderly person, this could end in consequences or someone getting seriously hurt.
