Today, my phone lightly slid across my keyboard and the screen immediately started going haywire with red and green lines before turning completely black. I took it to another repair shop right after, and they told me the screen from the previous repair was a cheap, low-quality part. According to them, when my computer slid across the keyboard it somehow activated an accessibility setting, and the replacement screen couldn't handle it and basically fried. Now I'm stuck paying for another screen replacement only a few months after already spending $350. For that price, I expected quality parts and a repair that would actually last. Instead, I'm dealing with another broken screen and another repair bill because of the cheap product they used. I would not recommend iRepair in La Verne based on my experience.

I came in at the exact appointment time, and to my surprise Jerry, the manager was there waiting for me. Dropped off the phone to him, he told me to come back in 30-45 minutes. He didn't give me any paper or receipt, so I felt a bit worried since there was no proof I left it with him but I did so anyways. Came back 45 minutes later and there was Jerry waiting for me again, showed me the phone and it was a brand new screen, worked even better than before and i was out the door in a few minutes. One of the best experiences I've ever had with repair service and definitely making this my new go to place for any repairs. I also found out Jerry not only does Phone repairs but also, tablet, and computer so I'll be coming here for those in the future. 5 stars for awesome experience here, and another 5 stars for Jerry for being friendly, easy to deal with and just providing good customer service.

I'm so pissed at my self cause I should've known this would happen. I got a quote through yelp. And I get there and the guy asked "did you get a quote" and I said yeah it's for an iPhone 13 Pro Max and so he comes back with a $160 price and I say, I was quoted 99-129 for my model phone. So he says he'll have to call his boss to get it cleared. None of this would matter if the phone worked. But now my eyes hurt from this super bright screen. I'm turning every app into night mode that can. My cellphone brightness is on lowest setting. The guy even made up excuses on why he was charging more like it was a newer better screen from before and they haven't updated the new price. I didn't want to hear it. And the whole "pay in cash." SMH If you have time to do research, go somewhere else. I blame myself for not walking out when things seemed shady. I was better off with the cracked screen. **** Update**** So I get a call from Ben. My screen is probably defective. He wants me to bring it in to run a diagnostic and see if anything is wrong and replace it and offers a refund. Tells me to take down my review. People should have fair warning. So here's the warning. This company does not use compatible Apple iPhone screens. Your iPhone will not recognize the screen for "optimized" settings, ie "my bright screen" Worse, iPhone not recognizing the new screen is acceptable to them and was not disclosed. Who would want or trust a defective product. If I got a lemon then I don't want another lemon that passes a diagnostic only to fail me after a 3 month warranty. I'm better off getting a refund and going somewhere else. Ben, you got me for $130. I lost. And since this is the longest I've been in my phone after getting this bright screen, I'm just realizing how much it's draining my battery. I had 20 or so years of mp3s, photos, movies, and videos that was lost when my single volume D:\ shared across two 512gb hdd was removed causing all of my data to disappear. Solomon was able to recover 99% of the data and back into its original folders. I'm giving a four star instead of five because the service was relatively pricey $699 compared to other quotes I received, however HDD Recovery was a lot closer to where I live. Also, because my hard drives were relatively full, some important financial files I had in the root directory were not recoverable. Regardless, I'd still recommend if price is not a concern and if you value years worth of data recovered for whatever reason, convenience or sentimentality.

I was unable to recover data from them in different ways. Disc one was an external drive that would not power on. I tried removing it from its external enclosure and powering it from another, more different enclosure to no avail. The system was indeed down. Disc two was an internal drive that used to be my C drive- my boot drive. I removed it from an old computer after it stopped booting and put it into an external enclosure. Several different computers (Mac & PC) would recognize it sporadically, though none could access the data on it- error codes always came up. Before I removed it, from the old computer, I tried booting from an optical disc and other assorted methods, many other assorted methods... I believe I was very thorough in my efforts. I sent both in and received near 100% recovery. They said it was 100% from one and 99.9% from the other but I am unable to find that .1%. I got all of this for just barely above the $300 price in their name (each, not total). So for about $600 total (including new discs on which my recovered data was transferred and return shipping) I got this incredible service. The total price I paid for both discs at 300DDR is less than I was quoted at several other places for one disc. At each step they were great communicators, from their receipt of the discs to my receipt of the recovered data. I hope I never need their services again but should, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I highly recommend them.
