One of the guys left tons of cigarettes in my lawn and they also left a few spikes dispersed in the lawn that they use to nail down the barrier to the paver walkway. This wasn't a cheap job by any means, but the end quality has been poor. About 6 months after the walkway was finished, we had weeds and grass coming through the pavers. Upon closer inspection, barely and sand/sealant was in between the pavers. Now, barely 1.5 years later, we have to have someone come and remove all the growth between the pavers and reseal. I could tell they rushed the end of the job because Hao himself came to quickly sweep some sand into the pavers then rushed out. When I remarked about the spikes and cigarettes, he told me he always tells his workers to not do it, but they always do.

Ricardo told me he was coming to finish on FIVE different occasions and he never showed up, never called back, never returned text messages, and I finally called the number on Yelp and got a hold of some lady (I think Ricardo's wife), and she sent some OTHER workers who hadn't installed pavers before and this long, drawn-out project became even worse. I had to settle on midicore work. THEN, Ricardo wanted me to pay the full amount event though I said let's forgo the synthetic grass, plus he didn't finish putting the pavers where they were supposed to go, AND had the guts to say that I "pressured" him to return to finish the work and I just wanted to pay a small amount. Somehow he turned it into my issue, plus another worker wasn't going to get paid from Ricardo, so then that guy is calling an texting me - TOTAL MESS. Needless to say I won't use them again, and i wish this didn't happen because I had a good relationship with Ricardo before all this happened, but it turned shady quickly.

I called and left a message and sent a couple emails and received nothing back. I was ghosted. Unprofessional response if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, they seemed knowledgeable and could perform everything I had on my mind in terms of landscaping but in terms of their lack of professionally declining their service I was not impressed. Upon speaking to some of my neighbors, they also were ghosted after receiving a quote. Very unprofessional.
