Friendly place great prices - sorry the glare is bad, but here is a menu as of 1/16/26

We've been to molokai a bunch of times and don't know why we never stopped at Maka's Corner. Thee food here is awesome. Our order: two hamburger steaks, double cheese burger, teri burger, 2 fries, and a teri pork and Korean fried chicken wings plate. I had the combo plate, the teri pork was soft with a great sweet teri sauce, the wings had a great crunch and moist inside with a nice touch of a teri style Korean sauce. You can combo any two items on their menu. I've heard their popular item is there honey dipped fried chicken, unfortunately they were out when we went. It's a take out window with some outdoor seating. We just beat the rush so our food came out pretty quick. Glad we arrived before another 6 plus people right after us, cause I was hunngggrrrreeeeehhhhh Haha. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

Loco Moco. Enough for two days

Landed early so had a couple hours to check in and we were starving. Molokai is a small island and this spot is totally a place that is frequented by the locals. They were nice enough, but not overly to us tourists. Sadly they were out of Mahi Mahi, so we ordered a Loco moco and a chicken teriyaki salad. Loco moco is rices, topped with two hamburger patties topped with two fried or scrambled eggs topped with gravy. This is a walk up and order with some sit down tables with an umbrella. Food was in abundance. I ended up taken back to the condo, because we knew we weren't coming back as most places close early. Normally I have some issues with beef. Not this time. Not fatty, not overly salted and my system loved me. Will probably head back on our way out.

The Korean chicken is amazing! The Mac salad is not so good, and neither is the grilled cheese. Went for breakfast and due to shipping issues they are out of eggs, guess they can't buy local! For Breakfast, I ended up getting Korean chicken and got wife some pancakes, and crispy bacon that was far from crispy! Service was great the first time, very nice gentleman who gave good advice on the menu. Second time the service was horrible, some Tattoed woman, with a solid black sleeve was nothing but attitude and snippy at every question!!

    Kalbi

I think this restaurant might have the best kalbi on the island. Still pretty "saucy" after being cooked (I prefer kalbi this way). The wraps are a pretty good size and I think they might have the best loco moco. Can be a bit of a wait when it gets busy.

Gravy burger with Mac salad was cash only but service was super nice ...I wish I bought two since I had to share

Aloha! The spirit in the Teri Pork Plate & tsunami Fries will amaze you. This is easily the BEST food on the Island of Molokai'i!! The team will amaze you with their kindness. The atmosphere and ambiance is old school Hawaiian. Mahalo Maka's Korner. You rock out.

This is totally your local kine grindz plate lunch type of place. Nothing fancy, but good basic local comfort food that is freshly prepared and tasty. I had the breakfast wrap and I have to say, the looks didn't match the tasty. When I first opened up the wrapper, it was uninviting, but once I bit into it, it was blissfully delirious. There was a lot going on inside and every about it was in total disguise by the plain looking tortilla wrapper. My partner had the double cheese burger. Same thing, it didn't look like much, but it was supper tasty. Something about the seasoning made it so delicious. It's all about the food here, so don't go there expecting cloth napkins. Go and enjoy some tasty freshly made local style comfort food.

    Gravy burger!

Ate there twice during our most recent two week visit. Had the grilled fish both times, it was excellent.

Convenient and reliable, love the order ahead on the app and pickup via locker inside…read more The app is also good to check what pastries and pies are available. Pies are also pretty reliable for taste. Their pastries are delicious and I do like their new Ube ensamada. The new Ube haupia pie is good too but the filling is very thin. I would be willing to pay more for an inch of haupia and an inch of Ube. My kids did really like it however and the filling was perfect for them. Always check the app for deals like the large spaghetti is good for kids. I always like their plate lunches like Korean chicken and fried chicken. Also like the orange bang drink, burrito, Portuguese bean soup. Service is good as the employees are helpful and friendly. I haven't eaten in for a while but there is a side you can eat your take out on the right of the cashiers. The left side is if you want a restaurant style dine in restaurant.

Zippy's is such a reliable local spot. Hubby got the Zip Pac Deluxe, and I got the Chicken Trio,…read morewhich is perfect for when you can't decide between Korean chicken or chicken katsu. Why choose? Get both, plus a piece of their classic fried chicken. The last few times I've gotten the chicken katsu at Zippy's, I've been pleasantly surprised. The chicken was tender and the breading was crispy. Sometimes you go to a plate lunch place and the katsu is all skin and no meat, but not here. Everything came with the usual rice and mac salad, and it hit the spot. One note: normally we eat on the restaurant side, but this time the host seemed to be in a mood and wasn't very friendly. So we opted for the takeout side instead, where the service was much warmer, and the food was just as ono. Every place has an off day, and it won't stop us from coming back.

Starved after a day at the beach, we stopped in because my smart daughter remembered Minit Stop…read morefrom when she was on Oahu. We were served THE most delicious fried chilen by the sweet auntie back there cooking away. Mac salad was THE bomb! The chicken katsu plate with two huge scoops of rice and a big scoop of that mac salad. It was the same fried chicke in bite size pieces and teriyake sauce to pour over top. Sweet Mother of Mercy everything was ono to the MAX. I highly recommend this Minit Stop for a meal.

They have no problem ignoring you and even giggle about it and talk trash about you while talking trash about their co-workers. If you ask them for help they tend to get fussy. I've seen this happen many times at THIS LOCATION and it's happened to me too. This was at night too and I've noticed that this location, particularly at night, has very rude employees. At the ending of the day it is a gas station and I'm there to get what I need and be on my way. Their food is great, I must say. The fried chicken and potato wedges--or even bentos is a MUST when stopping there. ***I was just there last night, 7/14/26 and there were 2 employees on the floor talking smack about one of their co-workers. I grabbed what I needed and waited at the register. The employee was standing about 6 feet away from me making drum noises on a pile of boxes and I asked her if anyone was at the register. She said "Yeah, SHE IS" and pointed to the other employee pulling trash from the hot food area. There was also another customer standing behind me waiting to check-out. The drumming of boxes continued too from the other employee.*** If you don't need to go there, go to the next gas station. They are my "emergency only" gas station and when on empty I'll put in $10 (when I actually need $85-$100) and fill up at the next gas station that deserves the business. 5 stars for food and 1 for customer service.
