This was my very first time trying Makenna Koffee. This shop has been bookmarked for a while, and I'm glad one recently opened close to me. Upon arriving, I was immediately greeted by multiple employees. The welcome felt very warm and inviting. The ambiance was bright and modern with a Hawaiian theme. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but this shop is better suited for meeting friends or grabbing coffee than for studying. This shop has a lot to choose from. They offer energy drinks, dirty sodas, signature espresso drinks, smoothies, matcha, baked goods, and much more! If you like Dutch Bros.-style drinks, this is the shop for you. For this visit, I decided to order the Banana Babe. The drink was sweet, nutty, creamy, and oh-so delicious! The service was flawless. The cashier was really sweet, helpful, and had a smile on her face the entire time. She made my first experience even better! Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. New coffee spot alert! This is one of the two new locations in the SFV. Hours are 6:30 AM to 8 PM, 7 days a week. They have so many options for their specialty drinks, I get stuck in analysis paralysis. I think I found my drink here: The COLD BREW with SALTED OAT MILK CREAM! The right amount of not too sweet and perfectly delicious! I tried the recommended: HONEY BEE LATTE and COOKIE BUTTER LATTE. They were a bit too sweet for my taste, maybe half sweet will do. We had the CHILI VERDE BREAKFAST BURRITO which was delicious but it was a ginormous tortilla compared to the small contents within. The TURKEY SAUSAGE BREAKFAST SANDWICH was okay, I felt like it was missing something. It is still worth to try if you want to grab a bite. I would still like to try their other breakfast foods and specialty coffee drinks. The service here is awesomely welcoming. They were so sweet that 3 employees made 3 separate pup cups for my pup. Their pup cup has some peanut butter with the whip cream which was such a great treat, that made my dog was so happy, he didn't want to leave. I had to drag him out the door. He was literally refusing to leave. I like this SVF location because they have a grassy area with trees to walk your dog and plenty of outdoor seating. There is a doggie bag stand, if need be, and plenty of parking.
Came here for the second time and it's really such a nice vibe in here. The people are so nice and their service is amazing! I got a banana protein drink today and it's honestly so yummy! I would definitely come back
I had never heard of Makenna coffee but was excited to try this new spot. We went during opening weekend and it was busy! We waited in line for about 10min to order. They have a lot of drink options but most were still not available. I also wanted a breakfast sandwich but they were all out. I opted for an iced Maui Vanilla. Considering how busy they were, drinks came out fast. They had a lot of workers that day. There are tables inside and outside to sit and since the inside was crowded we sat outside. My husband got a chocolate croissant and it was actually good. The drink as good but a little too sweet for me. I think next time I have to ask them to adjust the sweetness level. I want to try other drink options, so I will be back!
Welcome to the SFV, Makenna!! I have had this chain a few times from their other locations out there and happy to have them here, finally!! Decided to drop by this morning and was very surprised to find a not super busy "grand-ish opening!" We parked in the "back" since they had their door wide open so figured we could go through that way. They have a big parking lot which is nice too. Love that it wasn't busy at all so we were in and out of there pretty quickly. They still have a lot of "Coming Soon" on their menu but tons of workers in case there is a rush and also looked like some of them were still finalizing/organizing some things. Beautiful interior and had that "new house" smell which was very satisfying. I usually get their Nutty Irishman but noticed that they had a Cookie Butter latte on the menu so I knew I had to try it! Perfection. Got a medium and it was just right, thought about adding an extra shot but it wasn't needed. Forgot they put whipped cream in their drinks but that's ok, I usually opt out of it, next time! The cookie butter flavor is strong which I love! My bf got the Cabo San Lucas and also enjoyed it with his cheese danish. Overall a great experience! Large menu and something for everyone. Looking forward to coming back! IG: @ammysalamii
Walked in on a Saturday morning and there was quite a crowd! Plenty of staff though and although not the entire menu was fully available they still had plenty to choose from. I ordered a Cabo San Lucas latte and it was soooo good! Their cloud/foam milk topping was so velvety and sweet. The staff was very friendly as well.
Tried this new coffee spot. I had the Irish cream cold brew it was good I liked it. The place was busy and the guy taking orders was nice. They had a place outside to sit and it was shaded for the most part. For food we had the sausage burrito and bacon sandwich. The food was alright. Coffee I would come again.
So happy to have Makenna Koffee in the Valley now! My first couple of experiences here have been great. Staff are friendly and helpful in answering any questions about their extensive menu. I have tried the Maui Latte and the Cabo San Lucas and have really enjoyed both; the espresso is strong-tasting and smooth, but definitely ask for an extra shot or for it to be half-sweet if you prefer a more coffee-forward taste. The interior is very clean, sleek, and has a great "new" feel to it. There are a couple of tables, and it seems like it could be a comfy study spot! Looking forward to my next visit and trying more of their menu offerings.
Great first impression at the brand new Makenna Koffee. Despite the fact it's only their first week open, everything was amazing! Staff were friendly & helpful. Line went by very fast & best of all my latte was absolutely delicious! Plenty of parking space as well. I was truly impressed & will be going back soon!
This spot is really good! They have a huge variety of drinks to choose from, including chillers, espresso, energy drinks, smoothies, cold brew, and more. I originally came with a friend and ended up getting a drink for myself too. I like my coffee on the sweeter side, so I asked the cashier for a recommendation. She was awesome! I didn't catch her name, but she suggested the Banana Babe, and it's been my favorite ever since. I've tried a few other drinks here, but the Banana Babe is definitely the one for me. The only issue I noticed is that the hours online say they open at 10:00 AM, but the sign on the door says 6:30 AM. A friend of mine wanted to stop by but got confused because they checked the hours online and weren't sure when the shop was actually open. Other than that, parking is great, the staff is friendly, and it's a great place to grab a drink. I'll definitely be back!
Driven by this place and few times and was curious, finally stopped today. I asked the cashier which coffee has more cinnamon, the churro latte or horchata latte, she said another coffee is just cinnamon and coffee. I decided to try the churro latte. The cashier never asked what kind of milk I wanted, bot sure if there are options on milk choices. You had to wait to the side for your drinks which is a sharing parking lot. The churro latte is a little sweet, lots of cinnamon on top though. I may go back and try other coffees but I'll stick to San Fernando Coffee Company
This a new place, but the service is great. Yes it can be a bit busy but the wait is worth the coffee. The space is great and you won't regret it.
Loved it the first time, ordered a delicious protein drink and a breakfast sandwich 10/10, food quality is amazing, and the people working there are so friendly and kind. Today came back with my kids, the team made the most incredible looking fun drink for my son! It's not only delicious but also looks like a work of art. We are forever fans.

Aloha~~~~Stepping into Makenna Koffee instantly transported me back to Hawaii. The tropical, island-inspired atmosphere gave me the sweetest wave of nostalgia, from their breezy vibes down to a menu packed with Hawaiian twists like macadamia nut, coconut, pineapple, and even matcha smoothies~ Since the menu options were a bit overwhelming, the super kind barista behind the register helped me narrow it down and recommended the iced Maui Vanilla. I'm so glad she did! Compared to Starbucks, the difference in quality was immediate, there was zero sour or bitter aftertaste. It was incredibly flavorful, creamy, sweet, and perfectly refreshing for a hot summer day. Despite a long line of people waiting for their orders, the shop maintained a wonderfully relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, with top-tier customer service from every employee. My only critique is the price point. At nearly $9 for a medium coffee that I polished off in under 30 minutes, it's definitely a pricey splurge rather than a daily habit. My first time at a Makenna Koffee location in the valley. Waiting for the Reseda location to open by my work/CSUN. Came in on Saturday, the 4th of July at 10:30. There was a line almost to the back door but I didn't mind. Cute, good-vibe decor and I was admiring all the positive energy and wall art! Before I knew it the line was moving and I ordered within 8 min. Not bad. All the employees have such great, happy vibes and were so nice. I purchased a hat along with our coffees and also got some cool free stickers/bracelets swag! We got a few pastries and the coffee was the bomb . com! A coconut cold brew and the Cabo San Lucas! Yum! Is there coffee in here? Maybe it's just my experience with a new location. There are a TON of people working but TBH I don't taste anything in my coffee but oatmilk. I literally had my husband try it to make sure I was not misreading my drink.. his response was either they have the worlds lightest espresso or they omitted. It's. Super cute place but there are a LOT of small, great tasting independent coffee shops out there. So if this is the norm, they may get slow really fast. read more

I love the environment!! The girls there were so sweet and supportive, they complimented my outfit and we had a lil fun chat about the weather and one of them even took our pictures for us It gets busy around noon but the cafe has plenty of tables outside so it's not really a problem if it's packed inside. The food is great, their matchas are good for the price. I'll def visit again just to see their baristas lolll they were so nice it stuck with me read more
