So eventually after many nasty people i finally spoke with the manager Renee who was nice she exchanged the whole thing for my purchase price and i special ordered a solid chain which i was told my original set was and it wasnt. The new necklace took 3 weeks to come in and cost $1200 with the new plan. I had it for few months and there was a problem with the clasp, Brought it in jewlwer claimed to fix it twice and it wasnt the last time i went to pick it up t he clasp wouldnt even close and the nasty salesgirl wouldnt give me her name kept telling me well there is nothing i can do youll have to come back and talk to the manager, meanwhile all i wanted is for his chain to be fixed, she kept insisting that the chain was repaired twice. If i cannot wear or didnt even take home it isnot fixed!!!! the sales girl was the nastiest person i have ever dealt with!! In August 2014, we ordered a new setting for my 20-year old engagement ring due to the wear and tear on the original ring. I received the ring in September. In April 2015, I happened to look down on finger and saw that the entire middle setting and stone was gone, leaving only the post that the setting should have been soldered to with no residual solder evident. We brought the ring back to the Middletown store where the salesman examined the ring and told us that the loss of the setting was a manufacturing flaw and they would take care of replacing the setting and stone. At the end of May, we received a call from the store manager that the Hannoush brothers had determined that the loss of setting was due to me "hitting it on something" and not their fault. I believe that if I had hit my hand on something hard enough to tear off a properly soldered gold setting from the prong, that I would have felt it and would have most likely have damaged the other two stones/setting. I understand that shoddy workmanship can occasionally slip through the cracks. The Hannoush brothers refusal to admit that they made a mistake and make it right is unforgivable. There is no way we will ever step foot in that store again.
