Located right behind Mr. BBQ, this is a good little place to get together for fresh mochi donuts and drinks. They have plenty of tables and the two associates who were there this past Monday were friendly. The only drawback would be the parking since they share the same parking lot as Mr BBQ. When I arrived around 7 pm on a Monday night there was absolutely no parking except the three-15 minute spaces in front of the store. If you're able to get parking, it's a nice place to stop by. But when I left around 8:30, there were more parking spots available. The mochi donuts which cost around $4 to $5 each is a bit high in terms of the price point but they're very fresh and unique. The smores and fruity pebble were both very sweet but the texture of the mochi donut was on point. Their strawberry lemonade was pretty good and they use fresh strawberries. The mandarin orange yakult and gui hua osmanthus drinks were good too. The mango bingsu has a lot of mango bits. Keep in mind that if you order this, be patient as it's made to order and if there's only 1 or 2 people working, it may back up other orders and will take some time.

Was in the area and saw new boba tea shop. Love boba so had to try some. Sesame latte and one of the oolong based tea. The oolong tea was good, and I appreciate that it could be made with oat milk. The sesame latte was interesting: good sesame taste though a little powdery. And I felt all the flavoring could be more harmonious... Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our drinks came out promptly. The shop itself was very spacious, clean, and inviting. Good shop

Jasmine milk tea matcha, less ice, 75% sweetness

Nice boba place! I've tried the jasmine matcha drink here and it's pretty good. I think the jasmine is cold brewed, so the floral notes are really bold in this drink. The sweetness here is not too bad, it feels like their 75% sweetness tastes more like 50% sweetness to me. I've also tried their dubai chocolate taiyaki and it was ok! I liked the crispy edges and i liked that it comes out nice and hot. I got two, but I think one would have been enough. The taiyaki were larger than i thought they would be. I didnt feel too crazy about the dubai chocolate taiyaki so im not sure if i'd get it again. Would be down to maybe try their other flavors The prices at this store are a little more on the expensive side. Very cute, clean, and comfy interior though. They have plenty of chairs and tables for anyone who wants to lounge around or do work here. The staff are very nice as well

Review 66/365 Day Challenge Finally made my way here on National Boba day around 3 p.m. 4.30.26 There wasn't a line when i got there but after I ordered. The boba shop started getting packed. There were only 2 associates working this afternoon. One main girl making the drinks and the sweet associate taking orders along help assisting making drinks when she's able to. Service ordering was quick, since it was a day of offer with BOGO FREE for National bona day. Drinks were a little bit slower to receive a the massive orders of drinks. Was a bit bummed they ran out of boba so only got a few boba sample in the lychee dragonfruit jasmine fresh tea. Didn't get in my matcha drinks that I also ordered ~ Strawberry Matcha is pretty good. Use fresh strawberries. Matcha pretty strong and good. ~ Jasmine Milk Tea Matcha is good. Has a matcha cold foam topped. Pretty good drink. ~ Matcha Milk Tea is simple and good. Matcha is strong and hand whisk. ~ Lychee Dragonfruit Jasmine is refreshing good w real fruit lychee and strawberry bits. The boba shop is really cute and simple shop. Love the fresh calm vibe. Simplicity at its best. They have these hidden cups w crochet keychain hidden in the bottom of the cup like a surprise Offers yummy looking donut flavors and also carry chewy Dubai cookie. They sell cute merchandise. Located next to Mr. Bbq Korean bbq restaurant. Same building attached to the AYCE bbq spot. A limited amount of parking space available.

Ordered the salted caramel donut; loved it! Perfectly sweet! Also got the strawberry shortcake donut; soft chewy donut but the crumble topping was a little messy and a bit too sweet for me. The packaging is so cute and would make a great bday treat for someone. Thai tea was great! Not overly sweet and great flavor. Hojica tea had a more roasted green tea flavor! Great if you like Genmaicha tea! And the drinks are brewed to order so please be patient! That being said, my drink was a little warm so I would add add extra ice. The inside is well lit and quiet. Saw some people studying. Tons of seating.

Very cute and spacious place next to Mr. BBQ. I went on a random Wednesday mid-morning, so plenty of parking and no crowds from either place. I was excited to try a bunch of their donuts but I refrained and decided on the strawberry shortcake donut and smores donut. Both were really good! Their donuts all look and sound yummy, so I'd love to come back and try the other flavors. I also had their strawberry matcha latte and it was done well, flavors balanced and not too sweet or milky. Service was friendly and my order didn't take too long. Note: all drinks are iced, no hot options.

Oooookaaay, this place took me back to my childhood. From the RTD bevs next to cashier to the drink I got, it was all very nostalgic. I ordered the Real Pistachio Latte @ 50% sweetness and holy moley, was it so good. It was so nutty, creamy, and perfectly sweetened. We just popped in here to wait for our table to be called at Mr BBQ and I'm glad we did. We'll be back to try more items!

Been seeing this place on Instagram and finally made my way here. Came here around opening so it wasn't super busy yet. Pretty spacious interiors with plenty of seating areas. They have cute merch available. I love black sesame so I had to get the Real black sesame latte. I like how they offer milk alternatives free of charge so I got mine with oat milk. This was definitely the BEST black sesame drink I've ever had! It was a perfect consistency and the flavor was bold. Absolutely love it! For all the black sesame lovers out there, this is definitely worth trying! 10/10 recommend! Also got an almond hazelnut donut and it was yummy as well. Pleasantly surprised that it was kind of a mochi donut. Will definitely be back to try other drinks but the black sesame will definitely be hard to beat!

Great mochi doughnuts here and the packaging is one of the best I've seen. They have a variety of different flavors to choose from and they're a decent size as well. When i went they were doing a promo if you bought 6 you get 1 doughnut free. Each doughnuts around $3 after the promo so not bad. Definitely worth checking out!

While waiting for seating at Mr. BBQ, I noticed this newly opened café nearby. It's run by the same establishment, which is a great idea--especially for customers who want to grab a drink or dessert while waiting. The interior is beautifully decorated, and the shop is absolutely adorable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I ordered half a dozen mochi donuts and was offered one extra for free. I also tried the black sesame latte, which was delicious and wonderfully fragrant. Overall, it's a great addition and a perfect spot to stop by while waiting for a table.

Newly opened shop with very cute aesthetics. The place is very spacious with plenty of seating available. The teas itself were a bit disappointing as they did not have a strong tea flavor. The menu made the drinks look very enticing but they all fell a little short. I got the Mango Passionfruit Oolong, Guihua Osmanthus, Dan Cong Duck Sh*t Tea. Their teas are not very sweet so you'll have to go a step up from your usual sweetness. The boba itself was chewy if you decide to get it as an add on. Overall the drinks didn't taste harmonious, and it made the drinks all watered down. I also tried their mochi donut, and got their Toasted Hazelnut Almond. I wasn't expecting the caramel coating which made it sweeter than expected. The mochi dough itself was nice and chewy though, so maybe their other flavors would be good! Overall service was great! Staff were helpful and friendly. Again, great aesthetics, but the flavors did fall short.

Came for the Dubai sushi set and it was honestly such a fun experience. Everything looks like sushi, but it's actually dessert -- the "wasabi" is pistachio cream and the "soy sauce" is chocolate. The cookies were chewy, rich, and not overly sweet. Also really liked the drinks. The cashier was helpful in recommending us drinks. The double matcha is strong (in a good way), and the pistachio latte actually tastes like real pistachio. Overall, a great spot if you're looking for something unique but still good quality. The store itself was sleek, clean, and modern. Would come back!

Wow just wow. Everything here exceeded our expectations. To start with the matcha was excellent and I'm not usually a matcha drinker. The worker was so nice and had great suggestions. The place was quiet and perfect for studying or a cute date. We came for the Dubai cookies that we saw on TikTok. They're marshmallow like texture on the outside and Dubai style pistachio kanafe on the inside covered in cocoa powder. 10/10 just amazing flavors and textures. The mochi donut took us by surprise too. The ube flavor was incredible and the mochi texture was on point!!!! I'm so glad this place is close by. I will be back! read more

I liked there is a quick parking here out front for to go orders. Came first time and got four donuts (it's like a mochi donut) and their mango yogurt tea and pistachio latte. The drinks were good. Not too overly sweet. The mango yogurt was a little strange because the yogurt was like curd like and had just a hint of mango flavor. The donuts are good but pricey. So much package for four donuts but they are cute packages. Super chill environment and service was prompt. Will be back again to try other drinks and donuts. read more

Mama Chai's is located in the same parking lot as Mr. BBQ. It is very clean and we were welcomed right as we walked in. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite empty and quiet. I think this would be a great place to study or do some work! My fiancé and I both got matcha drinks. I loved that it was hand whisked! Both of our drinks tasted great. I came to the soft opening and waited for a parking spot to open up just to try something from Mama Chai's menu. Totally worth it! I had a delicious Decaf Mango Passionfruit Peach tea My only regret is not coming by earlier in the day so I could try one of their Matchas. I'm looking forward to returning to caffeinate here soon, hopefully much earlier in the day so I don't stay up all night If any of you do need extra support to stay alert and meet deadlines for school or work, they have a lot of different caffeine options! From coffee and matcha to desi Masala Chai, they've got a menu to make anyone's tastebuds sing. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how much I love the vibe here. I always go to eat Mr.Bqq next to this shop until today! I am such a sweets person so when I noticed a boba shop right next to Mr.bbq I had to go! The space was super cute I loved the colors and vibe to the location. I ordered the salted caramel Nutella latte and I loved the taste of the coffee that wasn't super sweet and blended well! My friend ordered the strawberry lemonade and it was fantastic. The two lovely girls working helped us out very welcoming and even offered to redo our drinks if it wasn't to our sweetness liking. this is officially my new favorite spot near campus! i went to their grand opening and the staff was so kind and attentive. i love the theme and design of this cafe so much its the cutest sakura and dreamy aesthetic. i kept the cup as decoration for my shelf LOL the drink was so smooth and tasty. the menu had soo many unique flavors and i just need to come back and try them all. their mochi donut was also super yummy. they have a lot of merch available for purchase too. i noticed they also hand whisk all of their matcha so you know the quality is top tier. i WILL be going back for the 50% off all of next week (and you should too)! read more

Fantastic drinks and beautiful mochi donuts! The line may look long, but it went by quickly. On its grand opening day, there were even umbrellas lent out for patrons waiting in the line queue (thoughtful touch!). The inside was very bright and relaxing, inside the door are some really cute merch keychains, bags, and mugs. We ordered the strawberry matcha milk tea, strawberry yuzu black tea, strawberry lemonade, and matcha latte. They were all delicious! Can't wait to go back and try more! read more

Highly recommend this place! Got the Strawberry Yuzu Black tea and it was the perfect balance of sweet and citrus. A perfectly refreshing drink after a long day. More importantly, if youre looking for the Dubai chocolate cookie, you DEFINITELY have to get the one with strawberry in it. Worth the drive! read more

Congratulations on the Grand Opening! Super glad I was able to stop by and get my drink half off ~ There were so many drink options to choose from but I went with the Strawberry Yuzu Black Cold Brewed Tea. I normally have to ask for sweetness adjustments to 50% sweet at other tea shops but this drink was the perfect amount of sweet and tea without any adjustments. Looks like they use quality ingredients! I will definitely be back to try all the other drinks and mochi donuts. With a lot of mochi donut shops in OC disappearing, this will be my next go-to place! The interior is quite spacious, nicely decorated with a warm soft green aesthetic I love, and the music choice was also not over stimulating. Parking is the only concern but it's not enough to stop me for a sweet treat! read more

My new fav boba place in Fullerton! I got the Osmanthus Milk Tea, and truly one of the best I've tried. Super silky and flavorful and the price is so reasonable. $6 for a tall cup of boba - in this economy....pretty amazing! Also they have been doing a 20% off your order for their soft opening! My friend got the Mango Matcha and I really liked that too! I think next time I'll come try their matcha drinks cause it was really good in the mango matcha. We also shared a cookies and cream mochi donut, and it was bomb! I haven't tried mochi donut before, but I would get this over a regular donut any day. Soft and flavorful!!! Overall everything was 10/10 - super good ambiance too and the workers were very nice and helpful! You got a life timer in me :) read more

I had the strawberry matcha and it's pretty good. Not too sweet. I also love how they use strawberry milk along with the strawberry purée for it as well. I also tried the s'mores donut (which I didn't take a photo of) and it's good if you like sweets but it was a little sugary for me. The inside of the cafe is really cute. Their drinks are pretty good and it's really nice place to study or meet someone to talk to. The space is very spacious! Their service is awesome. Initially, i wanted a drink but they didn't have that drink for that day so i had to choose another type of drink. The server was so nice that she gave me a complimentary drink! The mochi donuts are AMAZING. I had the opportunity to try a few flavors and I came back to buy one of every single kind. I especially love the extra attention to detail to making everything look nice and polished-- the donuts themselves, the boxes, the cups, and the overall aesthetic of the shop. Presentation is so nice this will be my go to for gatherings (a box of these is better than bringing a cake imo). I also got the strawberry matcha and loved that I could swap out for nondairy options. Really really cool to see their commitment to authenticity by whisking the jeju matcha by hand. The service was friendly, helpful, and patient (I stood there for a while trying to pick flavors before deciding to get one of each). read more

This place is so cutesy, and very aesthetic. The workers are nice and very attentive and everything was nice. They have a cute selection of donuts and the designs are adorable. The cookie butter donut is good, tastes like every donut but the biscoff was a good addition. The TAIWAN Oolong Tea is good, it has a a refreshing scent and taste to it but the oolong taste is not quite present, it's like a hint of oolong. Now if you're not a big fan of black sesame flavors, might not be best to get the Black Sesame Latte; it is thick and tastes strong, I didn't enjoy it personally. I've had black sesame flavors before but this one is just very strong for my personal taste. read more

Came to check out the newest tea house our town and I'm glad I did! We've been to their first location in Las Vegas and loved it so we had to try it out of course. Right off the bat, you look at the menu and this isn't your typical tea shop with basic flavors. They carry an assortment of high grade teas from around the world. Teas from Korea, China, India, Taiwan, and even Shri Lanka! But the best part are their hand-wisked matcha direct from Japan! They also have a menu of non-tea items that look absolutely delish. On our visit we got the Mango Passionfruit Oolong and Avocado Smoothie. The Oolong was a perfect blend of freshly brewed tea with the natural sweetness of the fresh fruit. The avocado smoothie was so refreshing (not too sweet or creamy which a lot of other places tend to do) and paired perfectly with my matcha mochi donut. I'm definitely coming back to try all the other offerings. I also might have just discovered my new hangout spot to work at times! read more

Went to visit after eating at Mr.BBQ. The donuts were so high quality, it was worth every single penny. The workers were so kind and nice, I felt so welcomed as soon as i walked in. Sam, May, and Harrison gave me the best customer service ever, and their drinks was so delicious! I wanted to try the Dubai chewy cookie because it was so viral on tiktok, definitely worth the hype! Def would visit again, I think I found my favorite donut shop!! 10/10 read more

First time at this new spot and I got the strawberry yuzu jasmine cold brewed tea. It was super refreshing and had a perfect balance of sweetness. A very welcome surprise! Saw the construction of this place while dining at Mr. BBQ. Finally decided to try it out and it did NOT DISAPPOINT! As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted and helped out by the employees. They were very patient with us and even helped with choosing the right drink for each of us! The atmosphere was very cozy and very clean! The drinks were an easy 10/10! Had the Silver Jasmine Tea & the Mango Matcha Blended drink. Both were so tasty!!! Will definitely come back! I asked him what the difference was between the small and the large, I thought it was just size of the scoop or bowl, but he said that small comes with 2 scoops, large is 3 scoops, and you can get a combination of flavors. That was perfect because all 3 flavors were some of my favorites I've ever had. I'm not usually one to hype up a food spot without good cause, but the price point for each size was really good compared to other ice cream spots that charge $1-2 more for the same thing. Not only that, these flavors were some of the best I've had. I'm excited to come back and try more flavors. Highly recommend this spot for any ice cream lovers, and I think I'm probably going to come back every weekend as part of my weekly routine haha.

I enjoyed my desserts here and took note of their large selection of macarons, something I'll have to try on my next visit.

I visited during the soft opening and had such a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they made it clear we could ask for any adjustments we needed. The interior is beautifully designed with plenty of seating, which makes it an ideal place to study or hang out. They also sell mochi donuts, and they were seriously amazing. Mama Chai's is honestly one of the best spots I've been to. The drinks are super smooth and flavorful, and the mochi donuts are crazy good. They're soft, chewy, and way better than regular donuts. Instead of making it a big deal, the bobarista decided to make me a new one. This automatically made the service excellent; she had quick problem solving skills and figured out what had happened. It was that there was no indication of this on the kiosk, and no one informed me before making my drink. I've had a similar situation at another Sunright location in DTLA when they were out of boba, but they let me know before preparing my order so I could decide whether I still wanted the drink or wanted to change it. That's the kind of customer service I was expecting. When I mentioned that I wished I'd known before ordering, the employee apologized, but it felt so dismissive, as though it wasn't really a concern and they wanted to get back to what they were doing. If you're out of a core ingredient like boba, especially at a boba shop, there should be a notice on the kiosk or customers should be told before their drinks are made. It would save customers from disappointment and make for a much better experience.
