Chicken Pad Thai Extra egg Extra chicken Extra noodles Extra sauce Extra onions So good... heavy plate

Chicken Pad Thai Extra egg Extra chicken Extra noodles Extra sauce Extra onions It was so good... the to-go container was sooo heavy. Was feeling a bit extra so I added an extra of everything, should've added a side of rice to enjoy with all the extra sauce.. just get an extra plate next time. It's a mini market.. and has good food.

Incredible dinner here after an afternoon of ice skating at the white water center. The sign said closed but the owner welcomes us in and made us an incredible dinner. We had the chicken pad Thai, the seafood pad Thai, and a small fry. All items were delicious, large portions. I removed the crab from the seafood pad Thai but other than that it was great!

This is hands down the best pho we've ever had! My husband and I have yet to find another that compares. The service is always warm and welcoming, making every visit a great experience. The laid-back atmosphere adds to its charm, especially considering it's located in a neighborhood convenience store.

What a little gem! The food was amazing! Pad Thai was great, can't wait to go back and try the Pho. Price was reasonable, quick service and friendly staff.

Ok yes Samvay's Wing and Subs is connected to a small convenience store in Mt. Holly but if they make the Yelp top 100 it's definitely worth me giving them a try. Where else can you find classic American food like Cheeseburgers, Hot Dog and Chicken Wings along with Pad Thai, Thai/Lao Larb and Pho? When you pull up many questions may race through your mind but let me ease your fears the food is delicious so take a leap of faith. The restaurant portion of the building may seem closed but you just need to walk through the convenience store part. I placed a huge order so I could try a lot of items. I ordered the Cheeseburger special, the Chicken Pad Thai, the Thai/Lao Larb Chicken, 20 piece Chicken Wings (Lemon Pepper, Teriyaki, Honey BBQ, and Mild) and 4 Eggrolls. Everything was amazing. The Wings were crispy and had great flavor. I would say that the ranch was subpar but the wing flavor made up for it. The cheeseburger special had fries and 3 wings to go along with it. It's a great value. All the Asian dishes were well prepared and were huge portions. I'm definitely glad we made the trip to try Samvay's. If I'm ever back in the area they will be my first choice. If I told you I got this in a gas station....I did

JACKPOT -- hidden gem alert! I had to run an errand around this area and decided to grab lunch. I came across this restaurant on accident and wanted to take my chances. WOW! High give to myself! Samvay's is part restaurant and part gas station. Don't let the outside fool you! Go in if you want to enjoy legit Southeast Asian - Laos/Thai food. The food was made to order. How did I know? Because the sound of the wok came on when my order was read out loud. I was the only one ordering food and right when I sat down, the phone started ringing off the hook and people started to show up to order. It seems like a local favorite around here. While everyone was going for the chicken wings...I went for: Pad Thai: The sauce is boss when it comes to Pad Thai and they definitely got it right. A rich sweet and tangy sauce to compliment the pho rice noodles. The chicken and tofu was cooked to perfection. The squeeze of the fresh lime brought the whole dish together. It was plenty of food and could easily be split between 2 people. Everything was right about it. Egg rolls: Some of the better Asian egg rolls I've had all around. I ordered two and they were delicious as well! It came with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Overall, fantastic customer service! I had a chance to speak to the owner. He was very kind and welcoming and even invited me back to dine again. Please support this hidden gem! Special note: Laos/Thai food seems new to this part of town. I read some reviews on here from people who weren't familiar with some dishes. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I'll be happy to help and guide you to order what suits your palette.

Beef Larb

Just as the other reviews have stated. Who would have expected a little hole in the wall joint like this in a convenience store! Paula was so nice and helpful. She helped us navigate the menu and spiciness levels. It's so nice having an upbeat and friendly person to take orders. We tried the shrimp and chicken combo pad Thai and the beef larb as well as all three egg rolls. Everything was delicious! The pad Thai had great flavor. The sauce was nice and tangy and not too sweet. There was a lot of chicken and shrimp in it. Paula recommended going easy on the spice, and we did. We enjoy spicy foods, so it was not spicy at all at that level. I might have been able to handle the regular spice level. The same could be said for the beef larb, except that whatever lesser spice level they were able to do with the larb was plenty spicy enough for us! The flavor was great, and the rice helped soak up some of the spice. Of the three rolls, I think I liked the pork egg roll the best. Of course, the house made spring roll with noodles was also top notch! The Korean spring roll was good as well, but I have to say that the other two really caught my attention. We will definitely be back, and I want to try the pho next time!

Chicken pad Thai (spicy)

Authentic pad Thai made in a corner store in Downtown Mt. Holly area. We heard so many locals rave about this place. It's cheap but good food. We had 2 very large pad Thais (1 chicken/1beef) for 20 bucks! I had mine for dinner, and lunch for the next day! Will definitely be back!

When we arrived, they were not busy and their customer service seemed to be lacking. We were sat down quickly and given menus but the waitress didn't come back to get our order for about 10 minutes. They do have several types of Pho soups, which I really enjoy. My son ordered a Pad Thai. When his arrived it didn't have typical Pad Thai noodles which was a mistake. We brought this to their attention thinking the dish would be remade but it wasn't offered. I had an order of their summer rolls which was good and I also ordered Pho Kay Kho, beef combination which was a spicy Pho. Both meals and the appetizer or plated and presented well. How Pho I had overall was good and I even added extra spice to the soup. Overall, both meals were good, but it didn't really live up to the rave reviews that I had read. The server could have checked on us a couple more times and refreshed our drinks. The interior appeared to be rundown, just a little, but not enough to make me go somewhere else. If I am ever in this area and would like Asian/Thai food, I would probably stop again. I would prefer another couple of my favorite restaurants that serve Pho over Bep-pa's. You'll see the photograph the presentation was nice. The food was good however, there were some customer service issues along with the interior portion of the restaurant could be cleaned up just a little bit more. I would recommend, however there is nothing over the top about Bep-pa's.

Traditionally I get chicken, but to today I decided that the Beef; it was buss'n (per kidz). It was so savory with a hint of cinnamon (least I thought). The richness wasn't expected nor was the freshness of the bean sprouts. I typically hate them but these were fresh and had a great bite. I used them to indulge in the crunch. The noods were square and not round. I thought that was unique as I have traditionally only had round. The Beef wasn't as tender as I'm used to but decent. The broth was the star for me. I really enjoyed the Pho. In addition, I got Goyza which was savory and indulgent. They were a tad overcooked but I like the texture of the bite it creates. The Eggrolls were a disappointment. They had absolutely no flavor but we're cooked beautifully. Nice light fry and not over cooked. The dipping sauce was too gelatinous for me. I would definitely give them a try. Its a small Cafe so don't expect mom and pop as I did. Its more fast-food style. My waitress (Kim) was efficient and sweet. She managed the front house, waited tables and busted tables so if it's busy give her grace.

It was our first visit and we wanted to try the curry. We ordered the Thai Red Curry and the Thai Green Curry. Both were perfection! The red curry had just the right amount of spice to give it flavor, but not be too spicy hot. The green was mild, but flavorful. The dumplings were so good. These were both very good and we added shrimp and chicken. I believe they would be just a satisfying with only the vegetables. They genuinely did not taste like chicken at all, and I couldn't even finish them. I strongly recommend staying away from that item. I also tried to order a bubble tea without ice and was told I'd be charged an extra $2 because they would need to "add more juice." I didn't ask for extra juice, just no ice!!! And charging extra for that feels unreasonable and borderline price gouging. Ridiculous!!!! Between the poor food quality and the frustrating service, the overall experience wasn't great, and I won't be returning.

There is a decent amount of seating and the vibes were nice. It took some time for our food to come out, perhaps because there was a larger group ahead of us. My friends and I got the Pad Thai with Tofu, Mama Pad Kee Mao with Chicken, and Boat Noodles. I ordered the Mama Pad Kee Mao with Chicken and I guess I did not fully read the description as it came with ramen noodles (?) rather than the wide flat rice noodles that I am used to with this dish. I think it was a unique twist and it still tasted good. I tried a bit of the Pad Thai with Tofu and it was really saucy, although not my preferred dish. The Boat Noodles had a good broth! It actually reminded me of pho that my mom makes, but now I am wondering if her pho is actually boat noodles, haha. There were also some cool Asian inspired cocktails but we did not get any. I think this is more of a hip restaurant to eat food, but I think it does satisfy taste buds. I would come here again to try their Vietnamese Taro Spring Rolls as my mother makes these and I have not seen a restaurant have these on their menu.
