Lo mein was a fairly straightforward soy-garlic affair, though I must say I appreciated the option to add some tofu to that as well. My spring rolls came sauceless and were fairly basic and cabbage-y, but a decent way to round out a meal. I appreciated their thorough vegetarian labeling; of course some things were not available to me that I wish they would make vegetarian, but the most important thing is being able to make informed decisions. I skipped the ma po tofu this time, but they claim it offers genuine numbing sensations and they did enough to convince me that it might be worth coming back to try.

We specifically ordered vegetarian food, making it crystal clear to the staff due to our strict religious and personal beliefs. Despite this, we were served non-vegetarian food, which we unintentionally ate, only realizing the mistake after the fact. This is even after checking with the manager and server after serving the food to make sure that they served what we ordered. This is more than just a mistake--this is a serious violation of our faith, our body, and our trust. For people like us, food choices are not casual--they are tied to spiritual discipline, ethical standards, and lifelong commitments. We felt violated, disrespected, and deeply betrayed. We are taking the following actions: * We have filed an official complaint with the Fairfax County Health Department and Consumer Affairs Division. * We are in the process of pursuing legal action against the restaurant for negligence, emotional distress, and breach of trust. * We urge other customers to think twice before trusting this establishment with their dietary needs. The first time we visited this restaurant was the first week of opening and it was no bueno. We were the only customers in the restaurant and the vibe was meh and the service was very slow. Fast forward six months...it is now one of favorite places to go. The management has made mass improvements on customer service. The chips and salsa are now free. I came early on a Friday around 5:00PM. It was fairly empty, and by 6:30PM, it filled with patrons. I ordered Pacifico on draft, which is not included within Happy Hour, and their 22 ounce glass is not cheap. I ordered beef fajitas for my meal. They provided a really nice complimentary tortilla and two salsas, which got me started with my beer on an empty stomach. The fajita's came with rice and beans. I enjoyed the entire dish and had a great time. Mosaic is a really cool area that I try to visit when I'm in this part of Virginia because of the variety of restaurants and shops. It's just a cool place that we don't have anywhere in NYC. Mosaic actually has a city vibe without the headache of parking and commotion. There's a huge three or four level parking garage, with street parking.

The Burrito was just okay in my opinion. The spicy pork had a slight smell to it, which threw me off but it was cooked well. The portion size was huge, so that was a plus. But everything here was overpriced. As for the guac/chips, they were just about ordinary as any other place that offers the appetizer. Nothing to write home about. The Service/Atmosphere: Service was a little slow that night. But it was a little busy, so not a big deal. Plenty of seating indoors and spacious. And some patio seating outside as well. Overall, a 3.5/5.

There's a meme that says if you're tacos come in that squiggly taco tray, just know they're gonna be trash. And yes they were. I got four tacos. So terrible I forgot what meat. Over priced and only one bite of meat in each. The tortillas tore easy too. Basically radish tacos. I'm Mexican, and I'm upset that yall have this as an option here. Food was so bad I had to go to Taco Bamba after to get my taco fix. I hope someone in management reads this. Give ppl what they pay for. Servers and staff are just talking loud in the back.

It may sound unusual, but it is surprisingly tender and flavorful. It comes in a delicious stew served over stewed potatoes and rice. The steak is tasty, although the cut of meat could be better. It is served with a salad and topped with an egg. The Queperi is essentially beef brisket served with cheesy rice, fried plantains, and yuca. It is a delicious and satisfying plate. If you like hot dogs or sausage, try the Pique Macho. It is a huge plate of sautéed beef and sliced sausage cooked with onions, finished with slightly cooked tomato wedges and topped with jalapeños. The beef and sausage sit over a bed of steak fries, and all of the flavorful juices soak into the fries, giving them an incredible flavor. The downside is that some of the meat is a bit tendonous, but the overall flavor is very good and the dish is definitely worth trying. The Lomo Saltado is another good choice. The flavor is quite good, and the portion is generous. They also have a bakery section with Napoleons and a variety of Bolivian baked goods, including cheese bread. Everything we tried tasted fresh and was pretty good. Overall, there are lots of interesting Bolivian dishes to try here, and the generous portions make it a good place to explore different flavors.

We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.
