My favorite is a soft but crunchy croissant with pistachio crème. There is a nice selection of sweet and savory, for my palate the more crème the better. It's Sunday I can reward myself a little. I find the coffee is good the baristas aim to please. To get a complicated decaf cappuccino with extra cream tastes good isn't an easy feat. She comes through. I was staying in the NoHo area for a couple of nights and I came to get some coffee in the morning. My partner needed to go to work so we were a little pressed for time. Location was a few minutes walk, it was nice and clean and everyone was friendly. In the front they have counter seating which is designated only for to go orders and you can chill there if you'd like. In the back is where you would sit down and they would have wait staff. We asked for the coffee and the croissants to stay but that we would be seating at the counter. The person taking our order said that would be ok. However, it seems like that the manager was not in agreement. Instead we were told we would get to go cups if we were not sitting in the back. I found this a little bit odd as we could easily have cleaned after our selves and given them the mugs. All in all the coffee was good and so was the plain croissant and croissant sandwich. You order at the front then can seat yourself. My friend and I stayed for over 1.5 hours and it was wonderful. I ordered the Tartine Au Salmon and it was THE BEST lox on bread that I have ever eaten. The bread was perfectly crisp (not too dry or undercooked), there was a ranch/cream spread that was really good, topped with tomato (surprisingly good!), lox (super fresh), pickled onions, micro greens, and sesame seeds (I think?). The combo seriously was a match made in heaven, just so delicious. It also came with a side salad that I enjoyed. It was a lot of food and very worth the price. Now one of my absolute favorite cafés in New York! I've visited their TriBeCa location years ago but it didn't really leave an impression on me, aside from their gorgeous interior. Their new Hudson location is just as pretty as ever but I couldn't believe how delicious their pastries are! I made the right decision to get their pistachio-chocolate croissant which was just mindblowingly delicious. This is coming from someone who doesn't really crave sweets that often so for this to be actually THAT yummy for me is just a whole different level. Their iced oat milk latté makes a perfect pair for the pastry as well. I wish I was able to ask what brand of milk did they use because I've never had oat milk as creamy, luscious, and that actually tastes like oats before! Overall enjoyed the vibe! Near my job in Tribeca, this is my go to place for breakfast and almond matcha lattes. The croissants are soft, flaky, and delicious but also I have their side of sunny side up eggs with avocado. They have plenty of sandwiches and salads to choose from, regular or vegan options too. They had an amazing hummus but sadly they don't serve it anymore. They don't do table service, so one has to buy at counter and buy their food and once people are finished, they put their plates/cups at a station that has a bin with used plates and cups. The service is efficient and quick, wouldn't call them "friendly" necessarily, but def awake and know what they are doing. The guy making the coffees and matcha nondairy lattes makes them very well. The cooks also make everything delicious. The ambiance is French country style and in my opinion it is so cute! It's also bright and sunny since it has a whole wall of windows! Branding is beautiful and interior is cozy. I didn't give it more stars because I wish they would have a better exhaust to not smell like food when leaving this particular location. read more

Maman is in a great location (right on the corner of a big intersection) so it's easily accessible and the staff moves quickly to make your drinks without sacrificing quality. The interior decor and vibe are quaint and beautiful and if I had had more time I would have happily worked from here for a few hours and probably been very comfortable. I also tried a lemon poppyseed cookie and it was delicious - not too sweet but still delicious. Overall, this is a great coffee spot in the SoHo area - a rarity (which is surprising) but there aren't many quality coffee shops nearby. With that, Maman delivers! read more
