Me and my girlfriend came here and had an amazing experience. waiter was extremely nice and helpful, also made sure on multiple occasions that we were okay and if everything was to our liking. The food was excellent and really good. The ambiance was very couple like(sorry if that's not the way to describe it not the best at this). But the problem came at the end when my girlfriend tried to pay and her card wasn't going through at first, we had a women who i'm not sure who she was but was very rude about the whole situation. My girlfriend tried to ask what was the problem with the card and her response was to say "Declined" with a nasty attitude and loud enough so everyone could hear it. But either way after this our original worker came and helped us through the situation and it all went through it was just a mistake on our part since she had the wrong card. overall great experience just not so good service by that one woman. read more

One of my friends met the waitress and he invited her to come to the new location and bring some friends so we went and met me start off by saying the food was amazingly good. I'm not even a sushi person but I may have to change my mind about some sushi cause the ones my friends had had me asking for more lol. I didn't order sushi i ordered the house special fried rice with chicken shrimp and steak and boy they didn not disappoint I loved everything about it and I asked for no onions and green peppers and they honored my request since I don't like that. It tastes so much better our waiter Henzel was amazing he came over and repeatedly asked us if we needed anything he was the perfect host. The drinks to me taste like juice didn't really get a buzz from it we ordered a pitcher thinking we can get a couple drinks but it was okay. We ordered a round of shots don Julio to be exact.18 dollars a shot it a bit excessive to me so we only ordered one. The ambiance is nice it's very small and intimate very cute for a date night. The only other thing I didn't care for was they had fruit flies every where near your food flying over your drinks very distasteful. They have flowers hanging from the wall that's why the fruit flies are there as the waiter explained to us because I definitely asked. I suggested they get fruit flies catchers if they were on have flowers and real veins hanging from their walls no one wants flies flying around their drinks let alone their food but other than that good experience I would come back if they get their fly situation under control. You can't deny good food when you come across it Side bar: They even gave my friend free cake and ice cream for her birthday which happened to be very good as well to say the Leche ice cream and chocolate cake. I had some of the ice cream very very good I don't eat chocolate cake so I can't say how that taste but very good service overall. Far worse waitress service, loud music you cannot enjoy your food to eat and food was extremely salty when ordering the bento box. I had to redo the bento box teriyaki chicken which still came out extremely salty. The waitress was rolling her eyes at me and my friend. I came here after walking around in the neighborhood and strugglinggg to find someplace to eat. Things in Little Italy close up shop early but Mamasushi was one of the few late night options. I ended up ordering the El Montro roll and the Mamasushi roll. Both super delicious. Also ordered some wings that were BOMB and a drink that I sadly don't remember the name of. For service, our waiter was super patient and kind. There was definitely a language barrier between us but he made sure to check in frequently to make sure everything in our order was correct. I loved that he went the extra mile for excellent service and I would honestly recommend this location for that alone. Great place to check out! read more

I recently had a very frustrating experience with Mamasushi On The Go. Despite having a sign that said they were open and their online presence also claiming they were open, my visit was far from satisfactory. When I arrived, I rang the bell multiple times, but no one answered. I thought maybe they were busy, so I waited a bit and then tried again. Still, there was no response. So I left and from across the street where I was about to order something else when I spotted a staff. I went back to the restaurant, but by the time I got inside, the person had disappeared. I rang the bell again, yet no one came out to assist me. This lack of service was incredibly disappointing. I was looking forward to trying their food, but the unresponsive and seemingly absent staff made it impossible. Based on this experience, I would advise against ordering from Mamasushi on the Go. There's a high chance you'll end up wasting your time and money, just like I did. read more

Food is fire. The sushi rolls were extremely tasty. I ordered it delivered and got it within the hour. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to try something new and different but still wants comfort food like sushi. Living in the Bronx is hard, but buying Dominican Sushi makes it worth it.
