Actual slices on plate & this time they really improved quite a bit (veggies, meats & I believe also cheese).

Truth is years ago (over five) I had them but gave three but this time we've got redemption here. I selected a combination party pizza (photos will come) & man the toppings, crust is much better than the first time around (note the location of the place changed from near North End Bridge to Memorial Avenue (not far from the Eastern States Exposition grounds) & this gives the place more room to make delivery orders, takeout & dine in (side note seems that the place ascertained a liquor license) but overall they made major changes for the better.

    The pizza is bomb!

The thicccc crust one was like a hamburger with cherry gulled onion I had to bite it to make a honest review small place but they have seating! I got it to go and and it was still amazing

This , was... the Margherita pizza. The sauce was the best we've had since visiting Italy. Owners hail from Calabria, Italy .

This Restaurants got it Right, a true Italian pizzeria. Simple fresh ingredients the other top two pizza restaurants I love. Mamma Mia has the top spot in my Heart. The Owners were all heart, The Two Top Cooks ( Both Named John) are masters of their craft, and the Waitstaff were professional, respectful, and intuitive to the Customers needs. If you want to enjoy a Pizza as a everyday Italian does in Naples this is the place. It's not a show it's Exceptional Italian Food. Please don't skip dessert too!!! In Italy Great food comes out on its time not American time. Enjoy yourself, family, and true friends kind of Place. Put the phones down and talk......... Simple life!!! Southington, CT

I love to order from Mama Mia's. They are very friendly and when I get delivery it is always fast. I recently tried the taco pizza and it was so good. It's my new favorite pizza. I have also recently tried the boneless buffalo chicken wings and the buffalo chicken salad, both were delicious. The steak bomb grinder is also amazing. It was the best steak grinder I have ever had. The flavors in it are so good! I highly recommend this spot to everyone!

A plain bread roll. Passed off as garlic Parmesan bread.

In town for work-ordered on Uber Eats-best MF chicken parm takeout I've had in a long time.

This is a fun and quirky pizza place. We came here while on vacation nearby after receiving reviews…read morefrom friends and were not disappointed. Despite arriving on a Saturday (during a holiday weekend) at lunch, only one other table was taken. We ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza; Buffalo wings and fries; and chicken nuggets and fries for our kid. Food came up within about 10-15 minutes. The wings/fries were first and were fantastic though unlike wings I have ever had. They appeared breaded and coated in a seasoning spice mixture that was pleasant though not hot (and certainly not reminiscent of Buffalo, NY, where wings come from). The mountain of freezer fries were perfectly crispy and lots of ketchup in serving-size cups were provided. The chicken nuggets were clearly from a bag and strongly reminded me of the white/dark meat nuggets from McDonalds from when I was a kid. Again lots of fries too. The pizza arrived a few minutes later and was huge. And different. A slice was practically a whole pizza and there was lots of pepperoni on it. The sauce was thick and a bit sweet. The crust varied from thin to thick but in all places were very crunchy... like a cracker. I loved it, but my wife not so much. The price for everything including several $2 bottles of water was $38. That isn't out of line for the amount of food you get, but the breakdown was weird. The pizza was $7 and that was a tremendous bargain. The children's nuggets and fries was $4 and I wonder how they can afford that. The 15 wings/fries was $23, and that seemed like an awful lot. But... taken together it was fair. In the future I might just pig out on pizza and leave the wings/fries alone. My wife liked the wings more though, so... The staff were super friendly, including Tony Liquori in his trademark skipper hat. The restaurant was "clean" but dive-bar like, with bric-a-brac all over the place. Fun and filling are the two best adjectives I can think of, and I can't wait to return!

Their food isn't the best in some cases however it seemed busy when we got here and it started getting quiet once we started eating. The waiter seems nice when giving us orders. The chefs should probably do better on cooking. The wings were not the best as it had kore bone than breast and Fried OREOs had slimy dough that almost looked raw. Their pizza however was really good as well as an Eggplant Parm meal (well cooked). I want to come back here soon but since Liquori's Pizza not far from this restaurant is still my go-to for Mass. Pizza and it's one of my favorite pizzerias to ever eat out, I prefer that pizza over Nicky's. We'll see what happens next year. Nicky's however is somewhat of an improvement from over a decade ago when I last ate here and thought it was kinda unpleasant experience with customer service and their food. Overall, somewhat average place to eat. I hear a lot of people come there to eat before or after they go to Six Flags.

The service sucked, they let the pizza sit in a box. Didn't bother letting us know it was even done. The atmosphere was nice inside, but the place was empty on a Friday night (and I understand exactly why). It seems as though this once-great Italian restaurant has been sold to some Southeast Asian folks whose only decently made dish is Chicken Marsala. If you want rubbery lukewarm pizza at an exorbitant price, this is your place. If not, I suggest looking elsewhere. Oh, and as a side-note, the business is now using AI to generate pictures of pizzas they didn't cook, and uploading them to yelp. It's truly disappointing, but not unexpected. They're a bunch of scammers.
