Overall I like Mezeh, but the experience at this location left something to be desired. They were really, really stingy with the protein on my bowl, (like totally undetectable), yet they loaded my lunch date's bowl with sooo much meat. The lamb wasn't flavorful, the spicy hummus wasn't spicy, the kalamatas were too salty, the pita strips were overwhelmed with garlic. The bowl was just really unbalanced. YUMMMM the Mezeh bowls never disappoint!! So fresh, so delicious. Our bowls were packed full and it's the kind of meal you finish and feel like you can actually still do things, not that you just need to rot sideways. Soooooo wonderfully greeted and welcomed! I got a California bowl. He had a nice salad mixed with some cilantro rice and then chicken Shawarma. It's so wonderfully seasoned! On top of that were oodles and oodles and vegetables ! Bakalava to go! I loved what I ate. I'm so excited to have a new restaurant to love. I would definitely return . This newish chain of chickpea palaces has been described as a better Cava or Chipotle upping their fast casual game on freshness and flavor offering countless combinations to aid in your appreciation of their natural and very fiberous cud. My 'everything' bowl (my term) offered enough fiber to keep one wary eye on the location of the men's room but I have to admit it was tasty as only something can be when forced to peel two twenties from your wallet. While Mezeh excels in taste, I have to bestow one demerit for lack of value. Four shaky stars. read more

You can never go wrong with some Mezah. Love the wraps from there, so many different options and very flavourful. Also the wrap pita is sooo soft and fluffy. Great portion size and fresh ingredients. Always must add the herbs pita chips! Simple and clean environment with good service. I went here a few times and won't be back. The first two times were decent, though they got the one order wrong. However, the third time I picked up Togo and got home and realized it was inedible. The chicken kabob in my bowl was so old, chewy and overcooked, I threw the entire bowl out and so did the rest of my family. I wanted to give them a chance to correct this before making a review so I wrote to their corporate office a few weeks ago about my experience and no one responded to even apologize to me. I felt like another number in their customer income instead of a cared for human being. Therefore due to this, I will not be back and neither will my family. First visit, really enjoyed this place. I had a Pita Pocket with lamb ($3.50 up charge) and rice with lots of veggies and hummus. They made the pita fresh in front of me and it was tasty! Ingredients seemed fresh with a good amount of seasoning and spice. Definitely will be back to try other things on the menu. read more

Sorry, I don't get the hype. I've heard Mezeh described as a healthier Mediterranean Chipotle, and I see how that's the vibe they're going for, but it just misses. There are lots of flavor combinations and choices available, but many of the pre-selected bowls just don't work terribly well. My biggest issue is the value here, as the prices are extremely high for what you actually get both in terms of quality and quantity. This seems like a good idea poorly executed, there's too much good food in the Hamilton area to warrant a return visit. read more

This has to be the worst Mediterranean salad bowl I ever had. If I hadn't taken it to go I would have asked for a refund. The lettuce was wilted. It's basically Mediterranean Chipotle. While the food was decent and pricing wasn't bad, they need work on their counter service. The man doing the customer orders was slow and I couldn't hear what he was saying, while the other worker raced around him for takeout orders. As it was my first time here, I thought I'd order 2 things from the menu as they were listed on the board. This could not have confused the man making the food any more than it did. I understand most people probably customize as they go down the line, but there aren't that many things on the menu and he should have somewhat of an idea on what the menu says. I pointed out that there was a Sharpie marker in the one lettuce bin and he couldn't have cared less. One of the ingredients was out of stock for my "chicken chicken " bowl, so he asked if I wanted more of something else. I asked for the tomato and cucumber salad, but that was gone. I asked if there was more prepped and was told no. He basically scraped what was fallen on the counter by the other ingredients and threw that in my bowl, a rather disgusting move. As I got to the register, I saw the other worker refill the tomato salad bin so there clearly was more. Overall, the taste of the food was good. I think the portion size for the scoops of hummus and tatziki could be bigger so you may want to ask for extra. Service needs considerable work. I understand that this place is still somewhat new but it's also not their first week or two being open. read more

I've been waiting so long for this place to open, had some great meals at other locations. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with my visit. In all fairness, I ordered online on a Friday evening for take out, and they are clearly still figuring things out. I ordered a salad and what I got was a base of parsley. Pretty surprising that the workers can't tell the difference between parsley and lettuce. Mistakes happen, this is not a problem, but I did call to request my money back and there's no way to leave a message on their phone system.
