You normally would get their sandwiches here but they have a great strawberry macha drink. They are located in the "Lanai" food court of Ala Moana Shopping Center. Service was quick and there is a lot of free parking in the shopping center. Lots of places to sit and enjoy your drink. Just remember, this is not located in the same food court found on the "ground level". It's next to Macy's. Enjoy!

Located in Ala Moana's Lanai food court, Mana Sandwiches is brightly lit and situated in the midst of a few other shops such as YYK Dim Sum and Brug. There is seating in the food court and just a counter to order at. There are display cases with the sandwiches, sweets, and more that Mana offers. The service was efficient, and the people working were quick to answer any questions we had. While the fruit sandwiches looked good and refreshing, we decided to get a tonkatsu sandwich and a croquette koppepan. The croquette koppepan was alright, the sauce was tasty and the croquettes were decent. The bread was a bit soggy but nothing crazy. The tonkatsu sandwich was OK. I did not feel that the tonkatsu was super tasty or moist. Both were more filling than anticipated. Next time, we will hopefully try one of their sweeter options such as a croissant or fruit sandwich.

Located in the Lanai food court at Ala Moana next to Brug. Finally got to try this place! Went with my friend so we could try more than just one sandwich. :) Ended up getting a variety (avocado edamame egg, strawberry, kimchee tuna, and tonkatsu). All of which were super good. It's the bread. The bread is super soft and tasty! We also tried the strawberry milk cream drink which was also good! Nice and smooth with some fresh strawberries in it. Yum! If you are on the go or just want something quick to eat, this is the place to go. Try them all eventually! Do it!

We were looking to have some lunch at the mall but all the sit-down restaurants there are kinda meh and pricey. So we decided to just go to the food court. The katsu sandwiches looked pretty good so I got a sampler of three to try. They all tasted pretty similar but the one with the cabbage was the best because it gave it an extra crunch factor. I also liked the milk bread they use. It was fluffy and soft but not so soft that it fell apart. Mana Sandwiches is a good option if you aren't that hungry or just want a quick snack, but it's definitely won't be enough to fill you up.

Takeout Lunch in Honolulu, Hawaii... My friend and I were between appointments when we decided that we should grab something to sustain us. She suggested that we go to The Lanai Food Court on the Mall Level of Ala Moana Center because it's convenient and there's a variety of vendors. I chose Mana Sandwiches because I had never tried their products before. I've seen the beautiful Sandwiches and this was my chance to taste them! I saw the sign for the $11.50 deal: Choose any Koppepan and Tonkatsu Sando! It seemed reasonable to me! I selected the Bulgogi Koppepan. I didn't have time to eat either sandwich because I was driving my friend around. After I dropped her off, I grabbed the Tonkatsu Sando and started munching on it. Wow... it was so delicious that I had to look at it... yup... there was a thin layer of katsu sauce on the white bread. It was a subtle taste that popped the sandwich! I ate the Bulgogi Koppepan next... mmm! Soft bread and a tiny kick of spiciness. The meat was tender and flavorful! There were some cooked veggies mixed in - carrots and spinach or watercress... something green. Anyway, both sandwiches were yummy! They got me through choir practice! LOL! I appreciated the friendly, efficient service (the customer in front of me was very slow and disorganized) and the free, covered parking!

Had to the try the famous Japanese local egg salad sandwich and was so happy I did. The bread was soooo soft and the egg salad was sooo tasty. They have tons of other sandwiches too. I'll definitely try it the next time. Location is at the Ala Moana mall Lanai food court by Macys. After a certain time around 6-7pm they start marking down the cost on the food.

I don't even have a sweet tooth, but when I passed by Mana Sandwiches and saw a sign that said made with strawberries from Japan, I had to stop. I tried the Strawberry Sandwich (around $6), and it completely won me over. The bread was soft and airy, the cream was light -- not overly sweet -- and the strawberry? Scrumptious and juicy, with just the right balance of flavor. It didn't feel like dessert but a thoughtful, well-made snack. I was genuinely happy eating this so it's a 5/5.

When I get tired of eating plate lunches and burgers and just want a good sandwich, I head on over to Mana sandwiches located in the Lanai cafe across from Macys - mall level. You will find several other food vendors in this space. Mana sandwiches have a variety of Japanese katsu sandwiches, but I love their egg sandwich. Service is always on point. And eating area for dine in is available.

I love their sandwiches. The bread is so soft and the flavors are great with plenty of different savory and sweet options. My favorite is their egg salad, California and lobster salad. My son loves their banana, strawberry and Oreo flavor! They also have some great brunch deals from 9-11am that includes any sandwich and a soup for $10! That's a killer deal. I would definitely come back again.

Mana Sandwiches had a lot in stock around 2pm on a Tuesday, but almost sold out on 5pm the previous Thursday. Seems much better to go for late lunch than dinner. I got the koppepan chicken karage and it was okay. The chicken wasn't that crispy or crunchy as expected. Overall everything was okay, worth trying at least once!

Hubs had to fast from 6 am for his 2 pm surgery so I thought he would probably be starving and would enjoy a delectable salt and butter roll from here. At $4.50 a piece I consider this a luxury for us. I found a close stall in the parking structure. A very cheerful polite male employee took my order. I had seen two occupied tables as I walked into the shop. Both had matcha drinks. Why not? I asked the young man assisting me, what's the best matcha drink? He said his favorite was banana matcha with extra banana foam. Okay I'll try it. He repeated it to the cashier. So popular there was a wait for beverages to be prepared. Soon enough mine was ready. I think Doc would enjoy this drink. This shop is a working bakery. Many yummy pastries displayed. Menu is posted high up above to choose from. Rather tiny shop with room for customers to stand in line to order and wait for drinks. Clean, busy with a few tables and chairs outside but pretty much in direct sun.

Even my picky nephew was able to find a milkshake and add an egg to their ham and cheese croissant. I got their mahi mahi breakfast and upgraded to get their fried rice. Mahi mahi might not sound like a breakfast food for most, but it's one of my favs that I used to get from their OG location and I hadn't had it in so long. And that's the best thing about Liliha Bakery, there are so many local favorites that you can get any time of day. My mom got the oxtail soup (I got a bit of plate fomo from that). The rest of the table got breakfast classics: pancakes w/ a side of spam, 2 eggs + bacon, steak and eggs etc. The butter rolls here are so good and love that they come complimentary but I do believe there's a charge after the first basket.

We visited Liliha Bakery at the International Market Place in Waikīkī yesterday. The food was…read moreabsolutely delicious and definitely lived up to the hype! Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Our waitress seemed to be having a rough day. The table behind us had to send food back three different times because they kept receiving the wrong orders, and there was about a 30-minute period where our server completely disappeared. We had to ask another staff member for our check and to-go boxes. She also never came back to check on our table or refill our water. Everyone has off days, so we're hoping that's all it was. We'd definitely come back because the food was so good--we just hope to have a different server next time.

Green Tea Puff ($3.75) and Coco Puff ($3.69) - I didn't like these. The chantilly topping was way too sweet. Pudding filling tastes cheap.
