Fried rice, Mongolian beef, Hunan chicken

Great personal service. Party of two, seated right away. The restaurant smelled wonderful with Mongolian beef and other smells. Ordered tea, soda, Hunan chicken, Mongolian beef, and beef fried rice. Should have gotten a soup too - next time. The dishes were plentiful and delicious. The soda was refilled like three times. Our waitress was really attentive. The staff started cleaning and mopping 15 minutes before closing time so we got out of the way. Luckily we were done eating and just chit chatting by then.

Very nice place for American Chinese food. We ordered Changsa chicken, Fish with black bean sauce and chicken chow mein. Food came pretty fast and was piping hot. Great flavors. Helpings are good size, you'll likely have leftovers. Good service. Plenty of parking in the mall

Excellent food and service. Have eaten there several times. The only bad comment is there closed Monday. The ladies there take care of you.

I am happpy to have discovered this place as the food is really good but a bit disappointed as this place could really use some organization to make it look esthetic inviting. We went there after the farmers market at the Princeton plaza and honestly almost thought would not eat here as the place looked so disorganized with lots of restaurants goods lying around. Seriously people, we should clean those up to Make the place more inviting for people who care about the ambiance. Now talking about the food and service was a different story, our server was Kevin and he was very informative and patient with our order! Our food: house fried rice, vegetable noodles and stir fry string beans were super delicious. Now I want to try other dishes soon but unless they clean up the place it will be mostly takeout for me when I want to eat at home!

Came here with family to celebrate a birthday. What we tried: eggplant with shredded pork claypot (3/5) -- eggplant was a bit overcooked and the sauce was overpowering orange chicken (4/5) -- sweeter than average, super crispy battered chicken but more batter than chicken. A little bit of a kick and easy to eat by everyone. beef broccoli (4/5) -- tender meat, big portion and solid flavor peking pork chops (3/5) -- too sweet for peking sauce..maybe too much ketchup and the pork was soggy beef chow fun (3/5) -- the fun was a little too soft for my liking so it kind of felt like overcooked? And the sauce was super strong for me The quality of ingredients is good, but flavors a bit off for me. I would be willing to try more dishes of theirs

An update! I want to give a shout out, this is genuinely the best takeout restaurant in the area. The food is decently priced, but is always hot, fresh, and amazing tasting. The biggest thing? THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS. To all my fellow gluten-sensitive/free people, they have a bunch of options. They can make pretty much anything breaded with cornstarch, and it is FANTASTIC. I know gluten free is pretty hard to find in terms of takeout, but this place has nailed it. My family and I come here regularly, and absolutely adore it. Typically I order it and pick it up, but when eating in, the restaurant itself is adorable. The staff is always so kind, and the food is pretty speedy. It's a simple pick up, go to the register, give the name and phone number, pay, and boom! Fresh, delicious take out. Make it worth your day and go here!

I normally wouldn't go out this way to eat Chinese food, but we were invited by family for dinner and checked it out. I would give this place 5 stars just for the customer service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick, and made our dining experience very enjoyable. All the dishes we tried were flavor-packed, super hot, and prepared well. I did notice, however, that the food was on the tangier side! The Orange chicken and the Hot and Sour soup were super yum, but very tangy. If that's not your thing, you might want to avoid it, but my wife and I enjoyed it because it is different.

I was visiting the bay again and had to hit up one of my fav Chinese spots. We were crunched on time so just ordered appetizers. It was fantastic. We saved some to-go and ate it before our flight. It was perfect! Until next time, thank you!!

Ask the Community - Mandarin House

    ARE Are there lunch specials?

    Yes there is. Good selection.

Does anyone know if they use MSG?

I don't believe they use MSG since I am very sensitive to it and never felt ill all the times I've eaten there. Besides, they are very accommodating so if they did, just request no MSG.

The food quality is overall very good - it has a "homemade feel" to it, even the more complex dishes. Things I've tried. Nachos with . . . many things. The Salsa is great and spicy, the Guac is good, the bean dip is smooth. The chips are clearly made there. The Guacamole con Chicharron was really excellent. I've found the burritos to be solid. I'd definitely give say give the Chrorizo a try for sure! The Tacos de Gobernador are a new favorite. It's not just good seafood tacos, they also add cool veggies and sauce to out-of-the-fryer fish which really enhances the taste. That's on to have right there. If you like Mexican food, then give this a try. They have a Taco Tuesday, a Dance Floor, and are next to a Mexican pastry shop. You've got everything you need for a nice evening. Just be sure to go in once. Enjoy the ambiance, the nice bar, and the positive attitude. When I first went in two people were sitting at the bar, watching a dog show on one of the big televisions. I knew I'd be coming back.

We asked for a second serving which they were happy to provide. Our order took a little longer than we'd hoped but the portions were good and food was satisfactory. It seemed like the fajitas combo was just missing something. Not sure if it was that it needed more seasoning or more garnish. The tortilla soup was good but was too spicy for me to finish. They have a lot to choose from. The restaurant is large with cool decor.

My buddy was also craving some Fish n Chips as well. Good size venue with a decent amount of seating. Parking is not an issue, with plenty of spaces in the plaza. Use the kiosk in the front to order and wait for your number to be called. This is a fast casual restaurant, so it's open seating. The interior and the tables were clean. Service was very friendly. The staff were very helpful and informational. They gave us extra sauce when we needed and were on top of everything. They took away our plates and cleaned out the table as soon as we left. #FishGrill: ~ LOBSTER NACHOS - 3.5/5 A heaping amount of food. I thought it could do with a bit more Lobster meat. There were tons of chips. Corn chips, wild-caught lobster, avocado, roasted corn, green onion, lomi tomato, diced chilies, cream sauce, green goddess & dynamite sauce. ~ FRIED CATFISH w/ Fire Roasted Street Corn - 4.5/5 Reminds me of NOLA. An excellent fried Catfish; crispy, mild and flaky without being overly oily and heavy. I thought the catfish could be a bit meatier portion wise. Grilled available as well. The Roasted Street Corn was perfect as well. ~ French Fries - 4/5 Brilliant Fries. Simple, crispy, slightly salty, just about perfect. Solid spot. I was impressed with the Fish and Chips as well, lightly battered, tender and crispy and it didn't make me feel bloated or lethargic after I ate.
