The mapo tofu was vegetarian off the bat (yay!) and has a delicious, flavorful sauce. The tofu itself wasn't quite silken or soft enough... it seems like it was very slightly cooked on the outside, which is not how traditional mapo is made. I didn't love that texture personally. I can barely respond in time until he speaks again or asks the question over. I asked him to slow down when picking up an order today. He said okay, but kept speaking at rapid machine gun rate. Here's the problem: He makes the customer feel rushed when there is no need. As a result, the customer interaction becomes unpleasant and even somewhat disrespectful. I know that's not his intention, but I can tell you that I would prefer to speak to another person if that option is available.
