I mentioned to the server as I told her it was too hot for coffee. She said they had worked on AC several times. Fans would help on a nice day just to circulate the air. I really want to love Mango's but I just can't. The first few times that we came here we thought it was great. The ambiance is really cool, its very pretty and clean inside and the service was always good. The last 3 or 4 times we've gone though the quality of the food has gone down hill and the service has been lacking & slow. We may give them another shot in the future as my family loves going to brunch, but we're going to take some time off from Mango's for a bit. Went here for brunch on a Sunday. First time to be here. I ordered the breakfast stuffed avocado and the avocado was still hard, not ripe enough for the dish. It came with the side of berries which were soggy and overripe. My husband ordered the Hardy Boy and it was very dry. Suffice it to say we're very disappointed. Wow. The atmosphere is beautiful. I really enjoyed the greenery in the decor. The service was good and the food? Fantastic! The fried pickles were very fresh. The only downside was the small amount of ranch they give you, but you can always request more. The Red Rooster had amazing crispy potatoes while the chicken fried chicken had a good flavor and crispy hashbrowns. We've had a hard time trying to find crispy potatoes, but this place? Nailed it. Overall the flavors and textures were great and I'd definitely come back again! read more

After looking for a place to get a burger, decided to finally try here. Unfortunately, wasn't exceptional, but it was pretty good. The biggest issue was that apparently they ran out of buns so had to choose Texas toast or sour dough toast for my burger. I could have waited since they sent someone to the store for buns, but didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for them to return... The Texas toast just had the wrong consistency with that burger. Also while the burger was decent, the fries weren't all that great. Most places can eat the fries plain and they are good, but these didn't taste seasoned at all, so had to use the ketchup. I also wish the meat was seasoned better. Overall an ok place, but maybe next time will just get breakfast, but I just wanted a burger this morning read more

We came for Father's Day Brunch and had very poor service. I had to ask for a glass of water multiple times as well as utensils multiple times When the food was brought out, my husband's pancakes were missing and after asking multiple times it was never served. Our table was near the entrance and we had flies buzzing our table constantly. Finally when the meal was charged, an extra entree was added so my credit card was billed an extra $18. I had to sit and wait for the refund and rebilling of the correct charges. No apologies from the server or hostess. I always kind of liked this place, but it's been declining with each visit. Today's visit was it for me and will not be returning. The kitchen needs to get it together. 2 tables that seated after me received their meals first. We were about to pay for the coffee and juices and leave until our meal finally arrived after nearly an hour wait. I had chicken and waffles. The waffle was decent, but the chicken was really dry. It's a thin cut of chicken breast that was way overcooked. Kids 1 egg breakfast was supposed to come with a side of hash. Server said it didn't even though we pointed out the menu that it did. We didn't bother asking for it since it would have arrived after my kid had finished his egg and bacon. With all of the new "trendy" brunch spots opened nearby, you'd hope this place would improve. Gosh!!! I wish I took some pictures! I don't usually go to the breakfast restaurants. However, I had to take my mother to the early doctor's appointment so we stopped at the breakfast restaurant, one of many kinds in Keller. I ordered my eggs for over medium. It was exactly what I asked for. They also have the squeeze OJ which is a lot for one serving. The atmosphere in this restaurant is so warm and cozy. I really liked this restaurant. My server was super attentive and nice. I wish I knew what to order. I don't usually go to the breakfast restaurant so it was hard for me to understand the breakfast menu. It was complicated. I ordered 2+2+2 things. I shared with my mom. It was more than enough. I had 3 over medium eggs which is perfectly finished, pancakes and breakfast sausage patties ( made from scratch I can tell) I would like to go back again. I'm excited that there is a new brunch place in town! First off, they do not have any iced coffee option. The waitress told us the coffee machine was not in yet, so we could not get any espresso/macchiato. I had the fresh brewed coffee that surely hit the spot. There were savory and sweet options on the menu. My friends and I went for the skillets. There was a choice of buttermilk biscuit, mini pancakes, or toast with the meal. I had the farmer's market skillet. The small skillet holding my food was adorable! My sunny-side-up-eggs were cooked just right. The mixture of spinach, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese was delicious. There's something about those fried potatoes that were not the star of the show. Potatoes were not well seasoned and very dry. This was the case for the potatoes in my friends' gypsy and the red rooster skillets as well. The interior decor was very cute. I love their green wall and painting. I'll probably return later in the year to try some other items in the near future. read more

Came here on the Sunday after Halloween for brunch. Came around 1:15pm so that we missed the rush. Immediately was seated. The server was polite and attentive. The fresh squeezed OJ was incredible even if it was $5. The food we all had was very tasty for brunch food. They have their own hot sauce and salsa. I was not a fan of either. The sauce was very "Smokey" and the salsa had massive amount of garlic in it. Overall I may go back but with all the brunch options in the area I will keep trying new ones. Stopped by on a whim and was super blown away by the friendly service and amazing food. I ordered the Cajun chicken and waffles and it was to die for!!!!! The sweet chili sauce on top instead of the syrup is genius! My husband ordered the hearty man skillet and he usually oversalts all his food, but the food was seasoned to perfection. The drinks we ordered were the spicy watermelon margarita which was amazing and not too spicy but not too sweet either. Just was really good. My husband enjoyed his old fashioned which he said was strong (like he likes it) and mango margarita! Very good and it's so friendly here. we're coming back tomorrow Our server Cassie was great!!! Went here today. After being seated, I waited 10 minutes for a server...none showed up, so I asked the hostess. She said she would find someone, but no one came. I then flagged down a waiter and he said he did not know whose table it was. 25 minutes in, I asked for the manager. She profusely apologized and took our order. She said they were short staffed. I suggested that she ask the hostess to help as she was just standing there. I also told her that her other wait staff spent lots of time standing around chatting. Thinking we were now set, but we were not. 30 minutes later we had not yet received our food. Three other tables around us were also complaining about the lack of service. At the 65 minute mark with no food, l left. The table next to me said they were going to leave as well. A month or so ago, we had experienced slow service, but not like this. I had thought that they had had a bad day, but I was wrong. It appears that slow-to-no service has become the norm. BTW the restaurant was only a bit over half full. I've struck Mangos off my breakfast spots. :-( read more

Madi is a wonderful server. We've only sat in her section a few times, but she greets us by name, and remembers our order. She's energetic and appears to genuinely enjoy her job. The food is excellent. Al does a fantastic job of keeping menu items available and delicious. Even the avocados are (usually) soft and delicious. Supply chain issues happen, and we understand. Like any business, Mango's has areas where it can improve. The majority of the restaurant is in direct sunlight until 10am. It's very uncomfortable to sit there. Please, order those blinds! We've been regulars of Mangos since the Southlake location opened. At both locations, we have been very happy. I've given Mangos 3 starts (for now). I hope to see Mangos continue to flourish, and look forward to giving them more starts. [Update 2022-09-03] Our visit this week was a very positive one. Walking in the door I loved the decor it was beautiful and spacious. There was a couch with a floral backdrop and the walls were a great with more greenery. Food was very average, the steak Benny is described to be a filet mignon and its a skirt steak. It was also cooked well done without being asked what temperature. The biscuits and gravy is better elsewhere. The biscuits were hard and the gravy was really sweet and off putting. The only thing I really enjoyed was my hash browns. 2 stars is being generous. The menu seems a little all-over-the-place, no clear motif or anything creative. I get it, it's brunch so it's somewhat limited to begin with, but at least make it flavorful. Service wasn't great and our waitress seemed to be annoyed to be at work. I also get that, I waited tables for nearly 15 years. The service wasnt bad, but I wouldn't call it good. My dish wasn't very good at all; a chicken wrap that was pretty tiny and served with pickles on the side. Pickles? Why? I like pickles, but that's an odd pairing. My wife's french toast looked like what we make at home, only not as good. Syrup bottles were sticky, too. The only redeeming thing I can say about this place is that their chosen brand of bacon is pretty delicious. Will not return. Waffle House has never let me down as bad as this place did, at least I can keep my expectations low and not be disappointed. read more

Charging 1.00, when I brought this to the server's attention she told the manager and she did nothing about it. First, not many businesses charge for salsa. At the price per ounce this is out of control. Salsa was watered down. Service was friendly. Really wanted to like this place but this left a bad impression and we will not return. We were welcomed by great smiles and received the most amazing customer service I've gotten from a restaurant in a long time! Kilby was our server and was amazing, prompt and very attentive. The food was delicious and there were several options. I had the chicken and waffles with skillet potatoes on the side. My friend had the cinnamon roll french toast which she did offer to share, but tore it up before I could get some. I'm sure it was also delicious. We've tried the South lake location and loved it so we wanted to try out this location since it is closer to us. The food was on point! He ordered the Hardy skillet and I ordered a Cobb salad (same thing we ordered last time), did not disappoint! The chicken on that salad is amazing. I also ordered hash browns on the side. They tasted super burnt so I didn't end up finishing it. Other than that, the only thing that was disappointing were the drinks. Sweet tea tasted funny, "fresh" lemonade tasted like bottled lemonade and the sprite was flat. So it didn't leave us with many options. Overall, I'd rate this place a 3.5/5. read more

My boyfriends daughter & I went here for brunch it was the 3rd place we tried because all others had an hr or more wait time. When we walked in they were so nice & said just give us a minute to clear a table & we can get you seated. That's exactly what happened. Our waitress was kinda all over the place which I understand seeing as how a lot of places are under staffed but she tried really hard to keep a smile on her face. My guest ordered the Denver omelette w/hash browns. She said it was good I had to take her word for it since I don't like eggs. I ordered the monte cristo. I had never seen one like this before (see pics) but since it had a very thick coating of egg on both sides of the bread I couldn't eat it. I had send it back & ask for something else, totally my fault. Which they so nicely did. At that point I chose the good old patty melt which was delicious. Can never go wrong with that. Had to take 1/2 home to my brother. This place is very modern & has great food. They need to hire more people but that's happening everywhere so it's not their fault. First time here was Mothers Day (a hot mess of service) so let's just say I'm being very generous with a 4-star review. It was clear from the moment we walked it that they were overwhelmed/not prepared for the number of folks. Since it was Mothers Day, we used our trusty Yelp app to find a place that had reservations and a seemingly low wait time. Mangos it was! We put our name in and used our 30-40minute wait time to drive over, only to find out when we arrived that their app was not working. OOF. We put our name on the list again and were told to wait about 30 minutes....Oof. Good news for those of you with parties of 4 or less, they can get you in relatively quickly. The majority of their tables are 4 tops (suggestion for the restaurant - consider getting a short 2-top or flex table to quickly convert a 4 seater to a 6 seater). While we waited, we grabbed a few drinks at the bar, which seemed a bit oddly laid out for the poor waitress that was trying to serve people over clutter. On to the food & drink! The mimosas were pretty average (nothing super special) but I was pretty shocked by the price for a mimosa flight - $40!? Even at a super nice, local restaurant in downtown Denver, a mimosa flight averaged between $20-$35. Foodwise, everyone enjoyed their plates, with at least 3 of us going for the Cowboy Skillet, a fave. The chicken and waffles was pretty average but tasty. Again, my experience was a bit of a sh*tshow but giving them the benefit of the doubt since they're a super small family owned restaurant. read more
