Both were perfect. For lunch we shared the roll again then I had the chicken bowl. Friend had the red curry bowl. Almost wished I had ordered that. It was delicious. We were there for a bday lunch so they brought out 2 complimentary pieces of cake. One a delicious chocolate cake, flourless I think, and the other an awesome Dubai chocolate cake. I've had the St Pete location my list forever so when some friends and I were out and about in Dunedin, we were excited a location was here in Dunedin! They currently do not take reservations they said because they are new and haven't had their grand opening. Our wait was supposed to be 10-15 min but ended up being about 45 min. It's a small space, including the patio. Inside there are several booths parallel to the bar seats. Made for a tight walk through to get to the restroom, patio, and the few other tables in the back. Food was mediocre. I ordered the duck dumplings. They only come fried. Not sure I've personally ever had fried dumplings, only steam and pan fried. They were deep fried. Very thin and not filled with much. When I asked what they were filled with besides duck, I was advised carrots and scallions. I didn't see them or taste them. Not sure what the sauce was. I also ordered the Crispy Salmon Roll. It is tempura battered salmon, eel, asparagus, cream cheese, masago, scallions, sriracha, shrimp sauce, teriyaki, and sesame seeds. I would say the was more panko breaking than tempura. I didn't taste or see eel. Service was not great. Our waitress seemed distracted. We placed our drink and food order at the same time, but didn't see her again after she dropped off drinks. She and another person or two delivered the food. She came by once and not again. Our table also wasn't set to accommodate all of us. Only 1 fork for 5 people, no chopsticks, and only 1 soy sauce cup. Overall it was just okay. Disappointed with food and service. read more

Went to soft opening and it was packed. A bit of a wait but our hostess was super nice and said we could sit outside right away on the patio if not too cold for us. Nice evening so we did. Next to a parking lot but not noisy at all in the evening. Sierra our waitress was very good at answering all of our questions, (especially about the homemade coconut curry) and super nice. WIDE variety of menu choices from sushi to bowls to tacos. We had the duck dumplings as appetizer. Delicious. Then we had the Pad Thai noodles and the Bohemian Chickie bowl. Absolutely wonderful. The food was the star of the show at this newly opened restaurant in Dunedin. Turn the corner on Broadway south of Main for a wonderful Asian fusion meal. We tried a variety including dumplings, yakitori (pork belly), edmame, the wild river roll and Drunken Noodles. We are going again tonight for the noodles. They are the best we've ever eaten. everything was great but the drunken noodles were our favorite. The food came out incredibly fast, considering it was standing room only in the very busy restaurant. Our only complaint was that when it was time for us to go. Underwhelmed. We planned on having dinner here but after the appetizers we chose to move on. We ordered dumplings and spring rolls. They were both OK. The dumplings were fried and didn't seem any better than ones you can find at the grocery store. The spring roll was good but not overly interesting. Food is average. We ordered lettuce wraps (below average), green curry with chicken (just ok, not great), their fish tacos were good. We also ordered their specialty noodle dish Mangosteen Noodle (?) (they had 3 noodle dishes on the menu, one of them was the drunken noodle). We didn't order the Drunken Noodle but that's what we got. It was ok but not what we ordered. We also had a couple types of sushi (both, rolls and nigiri) and that was very good. I ordered the peach martini (on specialty cocktail menu) it was sooo sweet and not refreshing, I couldn't drink it after the first sip. But no one checked or cared... To be fair, the other people in my party drank and liked their cocktails. Staff is very nice and polite, I just wish they would care enough to check with patrons if their cocktails are... to their liking if they see that they're not drinking them and if needed, they would make an attempt to fix it. read more

We have been here twice. I have quite a few food allergies and they were able to avoid all of them while still providing flavor. The manager was very helpful in talking with the head chef to make sure they were being mindful of the allergies and not having cross contamination. They allowed me to make modifications to the fried snapper roll! Server was very friendly. Also, good portions. I wish I had taken pics of the rolls and fried rice! Next time! Mangosteen was having a soft Opening, but everything was delish. We tried a bit of it all including an old fashioned and sake flight! My husband and I had lunch with friends and I have one complaint, the menu had so many delicious sounding dishes, I struggled to make a decision. I ordered the duck tacos and OMG they were delicious. Initially I thought $17.95 for 2 tacos was very pricey but they were so good. The shredded duck was plentiful and bursting with flavor. The sauce,alone, was worth the price. Our friends had the Mongosteen noodles and the steak roll and they were very happy with their choices. Service was impeccable. The waitress, Ciara, was available without hovering. Food was excellent, as was our server. I wish I had noted her name to give her kudos. My husband and I both ordered the Mangosteen Martini...a cucumber vodka martini...perfectly chilled, not too sweet and delicious. My husband ordered the Duck Tacos which he could not stop raving about. I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai which was delicious, but in my opinion, needed more fresh cilantro which I ordered and our wait person quickly provided. My only criticism was that the bartenders had a very hard time keeping up with the demand. There was one very professional, seasoned bartender who seemed to be charged with training a new, inexperienced bartender while also charged with waiting on a couple of booths for their dinners. This created a 20 minute wait for our second cocktail. We will definitely return, but suggest that such a busy restaurant hire already trained bartenders, and/or not rely on the professionally trained bartender to additionally be charged with waiting tables. I felt badly for the wait staff who had to line up at the bar and patiently wait for their patrons' cocktails. Our wait person was extremely apologetic for something that was out of her control. read more
