This is by far the best cream puffs in Orange County. They are consistent with the filling and pastry. I find myself coming back every time I am in the area. The first bite is a little stale on the outside until you hit the filling and it is perfect. Their cream puffs did go up in price. They are now $0.75 per cream puffs. The few times my dad goes out this way, he will bring back some Korean bread. He will usually bring back the main staples to a good Korean bbang such as the red bean, white cream, yellow custard, gorogae (Korean croquette), gombo, and sometimes kkwabaegi donuts. My all-time favorite Korean bread has always been the yellow custard (shoocream bbang), but I guess they either ran out for the day or didn't make any so my Dad brought back some cream puffs instead. If you're planning to attend a potluck anytime soon (and the location of said potluck is not in a super warm area) consider getting the cream puffs here. Crowd pleasers for sure. Smooth yolk-y custard with a strong vanilla flavor. Yeah, the vanilla flavor does taste very artificial, but gotta keep the cream puff price low somehow. With the rich custard being really chilled it's almost like the cream puffs are filled with (generic-brand) vanilla ice cream haha. I also tried other things here. The chopsal doughnut is pretty much like a Chinese sesame ball (glutinous rice chew with red bean center) without the sesame seeds in the outer layer. The baked korokae is a savory pastry with cream sauce and meat pieces as the filling. The custard cream bread has the same custard filling as the cream puffs; cream puff alternative if you want the filling with light fluffy bread instead. Kinda pass on the coffee bean bread as the filling is bean-based with, what tastes like, instant coffee powder mixed into it; doesn't quite taste as good as it sounds. Went to pick up their Scrumptious custard filled crème puffs. Arrived at 9 am to pick up 4 dozen puffs after calling the afternoon before to order them and have them boxed for quick pick up. I wanted to make sure they had enough and when I arrived, I noticed they had a lot in their bakery case so I'm not sure I needed to pre-order but nevertheless glad I did. The gals were quick to find my order and check me out. For 4 dozen plus 4 for my husband and me to enjoy cost me $35. I charged it and had to pay $1.00 service charge for using a credit card which was a bummer but oh well. The cream puffs are a nice size and adequately filled with custard. They were and are delicious!! Sorry no pics, I forgot to take one. The bakery is in a double decker strip mall and on the main level. They are connected to their coffee shop but we didn't have any coffee/boba drinks. I read a sign that they make their Boba and it isn't ready till 10 am. Now that sounded yummy but it was before 10 am so I couldn't order a drink. I felt if we would have gone later to the bakery that parking would have been difficult in our 2500 HD GMC truck and also my husband commented that parking spaces were tight. But I'll say it was worth it for those crème puffs. The shop isn't anything special and the coffee shop has a few tables with chairs. The bakery sells other baked goods as well.
