I do not recommend this restaurant. If you order an item such as a steak and cheese be sure to check the portion of meat provided. On the last two occasions I ordered from them, there was very little meat, which appeared to be concealed by an excessive amount of cheese. The service was average at best. I have to admit that I only stop by Manny & Olga's Pizza when I want a very quick slice of pizza. During my 3-4 visits, I have not had any complaints about the pizza. Normally, I'll order a slice of plain cheese. I will say that during all of my visits, I was very impressed with friendly male cashier. Overall, the prices are pretty decent . . . at least for single slices. If believe they have a special - 2 cheese slices and one soda for $7. Is it the best pizza? I'm kind of shocked that this place has such a low rating!! Ordered via Uber Eats and it was outstanding. Especially for delivery. The Stuffed Shells were piping hot and seemed very fresh. The sauce they use is INCREDIBLE. I'm kind of picky about tomato sauce and the texture and flavor here were pretty much perfection IMO. The deserts (cannoli and baklava) were good, though maybe not as outstanding as the entree. This isn't to say they were bad by any means, just standard fare. I ordered a all meat pizza with no pepperoni today. What I got was a pepperoni pizza. At least they only charged me for that, but had to strip off $4 worth of pepperoni before I could eat my now cheese pizza. I v Called them and the guy who answered couldn't speak English. When I ask d for the manager, I was told he would be in at six tonight. When I asked for a supervisor he hung up on me. I called back and told him what had happened to my order, he thought it was an order and told me the price. I get that there are some among us who have not mastered the basics of English. Hell id struggle in any non English country, but to have this guy taking and fucking up you order is evidence of incompetent management/ ownership. BTW. The doe was pre made and chewy and bread. It has been a long time since I have ordered food from M&Os but I have to say the sandwiches and salads have been consistently pretty good. Yelp delivery estimate seems to be higher than actual so that is good. Food is hot and ready to eat upon arrival. I may be ordering through Yelp more often given recent performance. I would highly recommend avoidung this particular location. The customer service, or lack thereof, is absolutely terrible. I paid @$45 for 2 pizzas, (including deliver) and when the pizzas came they where nowhere near what I ordered. The manager on duty stated that it was up to the delivery driver as to whether or not they wished to correct my order and bring me what I had ordered. The DELIVERY DRIVER. It was up to him? It's very rare that I come on here to leave any vitriol towards any establishment, but I call it like I see it. I walk in to place my order and a very already disgruntled hispanic employee, reluctantly takes my order. He's got an attitude issue and whatever the case may be, something was on his mind and he decided to take it out on the customers that walked in. As soon as I placed my order I asked him to use the bathroom, to which I could tell, he was about to say no, but didn't and told me, "fine go ahead." I use the bathroom, and come back or to wait on my order Not 10 minutes later, a young black woman walks in, who was working for door dash to pick up an order asked THE EXACT SAME QUESTION, and his reply was, "we don't have a bathroom." As he says that, he looks my in my eyes and realized he just made a mistake. As the young woman walks out the door, I stopped her and explain to her that not 10 minutes earlier I was able to use the bathroom. She was highly confused but also had that look on her face as if to say, "I already know what the deal is." Now I'm certainly not the type to scream racism at every angle, but this the first time, IN A LONG TIME, I've ever seen such a blatant display of it that I had to call it out. I've been visiting this Mannys since before they were on the other side of Georgia Avenue and I have to say that this is pathetic. Pepperoni pizza was indeed large. It was pretty greasy but if you can look past that then it's a solid pizza. The crust is the perfect in between of thin and thicker crust but it still retains some gumption. The cheesy was gooey perfectly melted and the sauce had just a hint of sweetness that really complimented the salt and fat in the pepperoni. After living so close to this place for a year and a half, I decided to place an order about two weeks ago. We had buffalo wings and a pepperoni pizza. I used the EAT24 app to place the order, which arrived on time. The wings were a hit with my husband, and by the time I reached out they were gone! The pepperoni pizza was exactly what you would expect: hot, tasty and simple, it hit the spot. Today we ordered a steak and cheese large sub, french fries, and a Lizzy burger with lettuce, tomato, mayo and ketchup. The sub was huge, and enough to feed my husband and my son. I was extremely happy with my Lizzy, and with this, Manny and Olga's will become a regular delivery place for us. Next time I'll take photos, because food is GONE! My wife simply wanted a hot pepperoni pizza and Manny delivered a delicious pipping hot pepperoni pizza to our hospital room within 40 minutes. I was impressed they brought it right to our room. Called the restaurant and after an interminable hold, asked them. Unlike the global standard for Margherita of Mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce and fresh basil, the Manny pizza is Ricotta, Chunks of tomato, NO SAUCE, and some flecks of dried out herbs.
