Especially the scallops. That was probably my favorite since they melted like butter in the mouth. I also enjoyed the hush puppies that were served with every main dish. At that point I knew I wasn't going to be able to eat anything there due to their lack of plant based items or even easily adjustable items so I just ate the bruschetta. However when we placed the order for the bruschetta it never came out. So once we asked about it, it was then comped and brought out. Our waiter was very irritated and annoyed it seemed with the large party he had to tend to but his assistant which was a younger more personable guy was way more pleasant to be around. The cost point for the food was beyond the taste and size of the portions. When I asked about kid options, the waiter told me he could have the chef make a kids steak or chicken tenders and fries. It was my mistake for not asking for the price since I assumed it was a kids portion. Granted the tiniest steak did come out I still had to pay over $24 which I would have purchased the regular adult size if that was the case. So some clarity on the menu options for the kids would have been greatly appreciated. I can go on and on about this place but ultimately I would recommend not to go here unless you don't care about customer service or price points. Upon leaving the family event, and getting home I then realized my debit card was never returned to me by our gracious waiter. My mother got the gnocchi which was described as delicious but lukewarm in temperature. She loved the beet salad however and the side of sour dough bread. My dad got a 13oz steak with potato purée. His steak was good in flavor however he described it as a bit too tough, and could have been more tender. Since he is a retired chef of 40 years I value his input. My other family members ordered the egg yolk ravioli which seemed a bit of a strange combination but certainly worked out in flavor. The labneh that was with the beet salad was also paired and eaten with the sourdough bread which seemed to be a great idea. Unfortunately the bolognese pasta was not tender enough for my family's liking. If you like pasta that way then you should be just fine. Over all it was fine dining and good. If you would like to go to a place where the portions are a bit larger I would suggest another place. But this is a nice casual dining intimate place for any special small occasion. The food came out fast and looking disrespectfully good. I blacked out somewhere between bite one and "I should stop." I did not stop. I have no regrets. My diet has filed a missing persons report. And let's circle back to Patrick--this man has the energy of three employees, a double espresso, and unresolved childhood dreams. I want whatever he's having. As someone who eats at my local Texas RH once a week like it's church I must give Manny's his flowers. While visiting town we saw this restaurant on our way in and knew we needed to try it. The atmosphere and vibe is great. It has a lot of older antique movie stuff and old Americana things like the Blues brother's. That was refreshing to see. Texas RH gives away free peanuts and Manny's has fresh buttered popcorn to eat while u wait. Movie theater quality! The staff are all friendly and welcoming. We had Tiffany as our server and she was so good we came back the next night and asked for her again. The oven hot sweet dinner rolls with cinnamon butter or regular butter are IMO lighter and better than TRH. The endless made table side Cesar salad was exceptional and better than TRH and I helped myself to 2nds and 3rds. The sirloin and shrimp dinner special is worth it. On night one I went with the butter crab stuffed shrimp, it was OK but on night two I went with the fried shrimp and that was the best fried shrimp ever. They butterfly it and use a wonderful batter that's crunchy and flavorful. They give u large shrimp too. The sirloin was cooked perfectly med/rare but did need a little salt but good quality meat. I do prefer the TRH steak seasoning instead. The next night I opted for the rib eye and that was on point. Excellent quality and flavor. My daughter had prime rib two nights in a row and had the left overs for breakfast with no complaints. My side was the fully loaded baked potato that 2nd to none in flavor and toppings. They give a free ice cream dessert on your first visit! Loved it! If you're ever in the area make sure you try this fantastic chop house.

We chose the Pirate Platter which includes: a delicious salad with apples and pecan and honey bread upfront, then a platter of assorted meats such as brisket, steak, sausage, chicken, and ribs. The brisket is our favorite. It comes with green beans, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I really wanted to try some of the vegan platter so they brought that out for me at no extra charge. For dessert, we got a pan cookie with ice cream as well as the vegan chocolate fondue with fruits and marsh mallows. All of this unlimited for only $39 per adult and $19 per child with drinks included. Delicious and such a fun dinner experience! Since I stayed at the hotel, I also came here for breakfast as it is included in the stay. Breakfast is the same across all three Legoland hotels. It's also served family style and includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, French toast or pancakes. You can add fruits, yoghurts, cereal, oatmeal at no up charge. And it also includes drinks such as coffee, milks, juices, etc. The staff was very accommodating about letting me take things to go and ordering extra stuff.

The main food came. It came with ribs, flank steak, pulled pork, brisket, beans, string beans, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, sausage, and shrimp. 3 sauces came with it, regular bbq, mango bbq and mustard. The mango bbq had real mango in it. Now, preface by saying I understand this isn't a 5 star Michelin chef meal and I wasn't expecting much. However, this was actually very good. The steak was very good. Not dry. The brisket was good. The ribs were good not dry. The pulled pork was dry. I got the butterfly gin drink again and as always, it is 10 out of 10. It isn't too sweet and it packs a punch. My husband got an old-fashioned and enjoyed it. For our Mains, I got the pear salad, which was great. I didn't add any protein because my younger son got the grilled chicken kids meal with french fries. He only eats half the chicken so I got the other half. My older son got buttered noodles and a side of fries. It was very good as well, he liked the buttered noodles, but stopped halfway through, so I wouldn't be surprised if he chooses another dish next time. He does love the fries. My husband got the chimichurri steak which he should get every single time because it is delicious and my younger son eats a ton of it as well. This time he got the vegetable of the day and mashed potatoes as his sides and enjoyed both. Parking is a breeze because there is a lot of nearby street parking. It is only about 15 minutes away from LEGOLAND, so I highly recommend if you're in the area skip all the chain restaurants and come here instead.

Service was a little slow, which kept this from being a perfect visit. We also happened to be seated near one extremely loud patron, which made the room harder to enjoy, though that is obviously not the cafe's fault. Even with the slow service, the quality of the food is what matters and Lucille's delivered. We would come back.
