So I needed a place for brunch and we stumbled across Manny's. The location was interesting because from the outside, it's meh. But inside it's WOW. The decore is awesome and the staff is so great and sweet. The lady helping us was there doing every job at first . Cook , bartender, server. But let me tell you she's a hustler 10/10. Visiting the area and picked this place off of Yelp. The decor was.. interesting. Definitely not my choice or color pallete but it looks nice and they tried. Place was empty when my group of 8 arrived, promptly seated. This place had pretty good food but price is kinda high. $27 for loaded fries, basic hamburger for $13.50, add cheese $2, doesn't come with fries and if you want to add some it's $6.50. That being said, the burger I had was pretty good and no one in my party had anything negative to say. They were out of Coke Zero and the Coke mix was off - my friend asked them to dump it and got something else. Service was not good; no refills unless you flagged down the waitress and asked for them, no check ins from server to see if we wanted get our check etc. It would have been OK but we were the only ones there. When we went to pay there was no way to add a tip when we used our cards so we had to scramble to find someone with cash. All that being said, if you are in the area and looking for a place to try out that's unique, Id definitely give it a shot, it's worth going at least once to try out. read more

I had to try the doors to see if it was open because it's all whited out on the windows and doors and I wasn't able to see any lights inside. We walked in for a late lunch and were totally delighted at the renovations since the last time we had been there...every thing was elegant and posh. Loved the atmosphere that the light fixtures created. My husband ordered the Bomba burger and I ordered the Turkey, Avocado and Cheese Melt and since everything is à la cart,, we split the fries. You would think for the prices fries would come with Our bill was $44 He said his burger was a three, because although it was a lot of meat, it was not well seasoned. The fries were delicious. They are fresh, cut and fried with the peel on. I also detect a little sweetness. Because I don't like mayo, I asked for my sandwich without the aioli sauce and I don't know mine was just OK I didn't really care for it. I took a few bites of one half and then just ate the avocado . I'll try a different entree next time. The young man who greeted us was very polite and professional. He brought us the menus and our drinks and later our food. He failed to ask me if I enjoyed my meal or to ask me why I didn't eat it And he didn't count back my change. Sidenote, they have cheap little small napkins which needs to be fixed. With that much food, you need something more absorbent and larger to clean yourself. I really wanted to love this restaurant because for one it is decorated super cute I thought it would be a vibe, it wasn't. They have a versatile menu with cool different burger options you don't typically get or would even think of. From entering the restaurant until we left, the service was absolutely terrible. At first I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but later on the next server was also rude. The cook was nice and even brought refills because the server did not check on us after we received our food. My friend ordered the Red Burger and the bun was stale when he bit into it. He said it just wasn't a good burger down to the meat. I ordered a turkey avocado melt sandwich, there was more cheese on this sandwich than anything else. It lacked flavor. The pricing of sodas and other drinks is crazy high, I believe for a soda it was $7 or $8. It was a disappointing experience especially with the lack of flavor & terrible service. I remember the original Mannys when it was on Mojave. It was a hole in the wall but the food always HIT everytime! Then they moved to this new location when the seats were red. Food was good but just not as good as it used to be. A bit more commercialized and naturally the cost was higher. The peanut butter horchata was still amazing! I never went back after that for a few years until recently when I met a friend here for lunch. Once inside, I was wowed by the remodel. It's very beautiful indeed but it just didn't seem to go with the flow of the type of food that was served. It was a Saturday around noon and we were the only ones there. We were told we could sit wherever we wanted. Me and my friend sat and looked around taking the remodel all in. Nice chairs, gold silverware but the red plastic diner cups and laminated menu didn't really go. The menu was all over the place and hard to read. A bunch of random new items and the price was clearly to get us to pay for the new remodel. My friend ordered the rib eye steak and eggs and a margarita. I ordered the breakfast burrito and stick with water. The food came pretty quickly. My breakfast burrito was massive! (Made paying $18 for it a little better I guess) it was hot and really good. I was only able to finish half. My friend said her steak was awful. She asked me to taste it and I agree. It was really bad (I spit it out in a napkin) she didn't ask to send it back tho. Her margarita was good and strong so I'm sure it probably ended up making the steak taste better after a few sips! We ate, drank and caught up on girl talk for at least 2 hours. During that time several customers walked in and the host was nowhere to be found every time! We couldn't figure out where she would disappear to. A total of 4 different customers came while we were there and 2 ended up walking out including a family of 5 because NO one came to greet them or take their order! The 2 customers that stayed kept saying hello?!! Before the host would finally appear but after dropping off their food, she would disappear again. This is bad business and I'm not sure what the reason was but the restaurant was letting money walk out the door especially the family of 5! My tab was $80! Tried this place out. We went around 11ish, wasn't busy. There was only one person working at the time. The food is served with large portions. It was good. The meat had great flavor and the fries were nice and crispy. Apparently they are known for their carne asada fries and large burritos. I decided to try a burger with carne asada and Al pastor meat. It was pretty tasty. Price: The price is a little high. Between my wife and I, we spent about $55. The food is good, large portion. It wasn't that busy on a weekday morning. It might be more busy on weekends. On a side note: their espresso machine could use a little cleaning. The steamer where they froth the milk was very dirty. It is usually supposed to be cleaned right after each use to avoid the milk getting stuck on. The entrance to the restaurant needs to be updated and cleaned. Walking into the restaurant; the atmosphere juxtaposed with what one pictures. Rather than a family restaurant-feel, it was a cross between a wedding venue and brewery, with the exposed ventilation and bar. There's a TV in the left corner and hip hop music playing ...which also contradicted with the decor vibe of fancy chairs with golden lion heads. We chose a booth, and while the tabletop was clean, there were notable crumbs on the floor, and my shoes were sticking to something on the floor that hadn't been properly mopped. As you can see pictured, there are a variety of food and drink options to choose from. Kind of overwhelming. I think it also makes it less efficient, based on the service we received. We were told they were known for their burgers and micheladas. To drink, we got a pomegranate mimosa and a watermelon-lime michelada. The mimosa was too sweet and the michelada tasted like a jolly rancher. The latter was good, but if you expect spice, try a different option. The food we ordered was the bombo burger and the braised short ribs benedict. The burger tastes like a chili burger and is pretty oily so have extra napkins. The hollandaise sauce got lost in the eggs benedict and it needed some more flavor. I added the red salsa which helped. The service was slow. And this made the biggest impact on the experience. While the waitress was polite, she seemed inexperienced. Granted, only two visible workers were on the clock when we were there. We ordered our drinks. She had to come back to clarify if the beer was modelo or coors. Probably best to write down orders. Drinks took a while to come out. When we ordered our food, I asked for napkins since none were at the table and the drinks were 'sweating'. The napkins request was forgotten. We slowly sipped our drinks, since requests either were forgotten or delayed too long, it seemed like a hassle to even bother. After about 30 minutes, the food came out. We had no utensils for our table. Had to wait a good 5 minutes before getting utensils so we could eat. The staff seemed overwhelmed fulfilling the requests of 4 parties present (2 for each party and one with a party of 3). Left me wondering how they would handle it if multiple groups with parties larger than 3 came in asking for various options on the menu. I imagine the wait would be longer. Given the reviews, I expected more. I won't sit-in again, but I will try another to go option in the future...maybe. read more

My husband and I went to Manny's last Sunday around 2pm. The restaurant was empty, not one customer inside the restaurant , That should have been our first clue to walk out...but we didn't. We ordered the grande torta and quesabirra taco, which both turned out to be old and overpriced food. My husband, who never complains about his meals or the price of food spoke to the waitress about the quality of the food, saying it was not fresh and also suggested that perhaps this is the reason there are no other customers inside the restaurant. The waitress was nice...when you could get a hold of her. For there not being any other customers in the restaurant , you would have thought the customer service would have been excellent but no, she was hiding in the kitchen most of the time we were there . My husband asked for a Diet Coke but the waitress gave him regular coke and since the waitress was M.I.A. he ended up getting up and serving his own soda. The restaurant was nicely decorated however the front glass door needs to cleaned with some glass cleaner. Again with all that time on their hands this place should be immaculate. Such a great find in the high desert! Manny was there and greeter us, very warm and welcoming and he took time to tell us all about the menu. Elote fries are pretty awesome, loaded with a creamy corn topping and while I could use more cotija cheese, it was really great. Bombo burger was probably my favorite, just so full of flavor and perfect for sharing. Birria Burrito was humongous and real flavorful- kinda a knife and fork kinda burrito Pistachio Horchata was so creamy and delicious. Manny's is an absolute gem out here in the High Desert. We love their burgers and fries. They have so many crazy options that you didn't even think you wanted until you get here. My man and I decided to take our friend out last night because she was visiting from Hawaii. She was not disappointed. Josh is awesome! Look for him when you come in because he made everything an entire experience for us. They freshly made the Agua Fresca just an hour before we got there. Josh let us have a sample of each and the horchatas. Having a Hawaiian girl say that their pineapple agua fresca was like getting it off the island says it all! She was thoroughly impressed. I was surprised and how delicious the pistachio horchata was. It was like drinking pistachio ice cream! We're definitely going back today for some before she leaves. We wound up ordering the BBQ Mac & Cheese burger & the Huevo Rancheros burger for the three of us to split and a Watermelon Michelada. Oh man...that Michelada was AMAZING! Found this based off the yelp reviews and of course they did not disappoint! The interior is beautiful! The staff is very friendly we came on a Sunday afternoon on way through to AZ. It's just off the freeway slightly. The food was absolutely delicious. Carnitas are packed with flavor and the green sauce is just perfect for me as I don't like a ton of heat. The flavors are so good. The steak nachos could be a shareable dish it's so huge. Definitely will be our go to if we are heading through this area. I was passing through Victorville and was starving. Checked out Yelp for local eateries and found this place intriguing. It was after 8pm when I pulled up and saw that the place was empty. I was kinda iffy about going in but my driver already got out of the car and was already headed for the door. So I followed. Was greeted right away by a nice gentleman. He asked if we have been here before and we told him we were passing through. The gentleman explained about the burgers and offered samples of the different flavored horchatas. I tried the peanut butter and strawberry. Ended up ordering the peanut butter one...Yumm!!! There's a great variety of micheladas to choose from and even though I wanted to real bad, I stuck with the delicious peanut butter flavored horchata. lol Every burger on the menu looked so appetizing. I settled on the Bombo Burger...which is humongous ( the gentleman highly recommended it). It consisted of 2 patties, carne asada, al pastor, cheeses and condiments to round off the burger. This is no hand to mouth burger. I needed a fork and knife to eat it and it's so big that I only ate like a third of it. The gentleman mentioned that they plan on opening a restaurant in Vegas soon. The food and service were great! There was only one worker, Steven, and he did both the cooking and the service. Even though he was on his own, he held down the fort. I ordered a pastramichurri burger and my friend ordered a peanut butter jelly burger. Crazy combinations, but just the burger alone was enough to enjoyably fill our stomachs. The fries are home-fries I believe they are called and they were good too, we also got curly fries that aren't pictured . If you are cheap don't get on here complaining about the cost because if you got the food you know it was WELL worth it . I paid for each item individually. It didn't come as a meal but I totally didn't mind. The place is esthetically pleasing, they have to go alcohol which I love and the customer service was great ! Been coming here for over a year now, staff is always super friendly. I came in today and I was greeted by the owner Manny, he recommended one of the new burgers on the menu, out of all the burgers, the super smash burger caught my attention. When I got the burger it was presented to me just as pictured on the menu, taste was amazing. Burger was well seasoned and the sauce didn't overpower the meat at all. Bun was extremely soft. My partner and I were looking for a restaurant to eat at on our way back to Las Vegas and found Manny's Restaurant in our Yelp search. We ended up arriving at Manny's Restaurant around 6:00 P.M on a Friday evening. It was pretty empty with only one other party ahead of us. There was only one team member working at Manny's restaurant that evening. He did provide us samples of the pistachio horchata which was awesome. After reviewing the menu, we had decided to order the following [1] The Bombo Burger ($13.98): 2 patties w/ Carne Asada, Al Pastor, Double Mozzarella & Cheddar Cheese, Secret Sauce, Cilantro, Onions, Green Salsa. Combo with French Fries and a Large Drink for ($9.98) [2] The BBQ Mac Burger ($13.98): 2 patties w/ Homemade Mac and Cheese with BBQ Sauce. Combo with French Fries and a Large Drink for ($9.98) I was amazed that both orders came out to be approximately $50.00. I actually had to re-look at the menu as I didn't understand initially the combo purchase add-ons with the burger. We ended up waiting 20 minutes for the order as there was one other party ahead of us. The BBQ Mac Burger was amazing. The patties were perfectly cooked. The Mac-N-Cheese was flavorful and just the right amount of cheese was added. The Mac-N-Cheese, overflowing on the burger patties with BBQ tossed on top of the burger. Now, I couldn't pick up the burger to eat. I ended up using a fork instead. I would order it again! The French Fries were okay. A lot of the French Fries were burnt and didn't have enough seasoning on it. You needed something to eat the French Fries with, either the Manny's sauce or Ketchup. I also wouldn't order a combo meal again, solo, as I couldn't eat the entire meal. I would split a combo with someone else. My partner really enjoyed the Bombo Burger and the pistachio horchata, amazing!! I'm glad we got a chance to visit Manny's on our trip through Victorville. I've heard this place was good from friends and looking at their Yelp it seemed worth a try. I wouldn't waste my time going in if I were you. Not a place to go unless you're okay with just throwing away money. They do not have a kids menu. When I asked if they did they said no, but they do have a small quesadilla or a plain burger people would order for their kids. We ordered a small quesadilla. We paid $5 for this "quesadilla" it was the size of a street taco. Totally over priced for what you can see. This was not enough to feed our 7 year old that we ordered it for, probably not enough for a toddler. If you order a large quesadilla, it's $12. It's bigger but that's still a steep price for a tortilla with cheese. You might as well order a burrito for a few bucks more. The burger was extremely sloppy and flavorless. It was about $14 for only the burger. Adding fries and a drink was an extra $9! I went and asked a worker for a fork and knife because there's no way I could pick it up and eat it like how a burger should be. The worker told me that's how they are supposed to me. If that's the case serve the meal with a fork and knife. Definitely not planning on returning and wouldn't recommend. read more

A bit of a disappointment in my opinion. Reading the reviews, there seemed to be a lot of hype to this unique, unheard of combination of Carne asada on a burger. For quite some time, I have wanted to try Manny's, but I'm usually on Keto and I wouldn't be able to fully enjoy their specialty not eating it as it is intended to be with the bun. Finally I was on a break from my keto lifestyle and I immediately thought about giving Manny's a try. I went with the popular Carne asada burger with salsa on the side. I was quite disappointed because the Carne asada and the hamburger patty were dry with not a lot of flavor. I know I took out the salsa, but that should not be the reason for it to not have good flavor. The patty was dry, which leads me to believe it's over cooked. Also ordered a carne asada taco which I felt was pricey at $6.00 for one taco. The one taco arrived to our table last and it was cold. It did not have any salsa on it which you had to get yourself and they ran out of green salsa. So I had to wait even more just for my taco to get even colder. Just like the carne asada on my burger, it too had very little flavor. A big disappointment to a long awaited experience in which the end result probably means that I will not be returning. read more
