I had an amazing experience at Manon! The interior is beautifully decorated and there's seating for all party sizes. For my visit this past Sunday I made a reservation. I ended up changing it to an earlier time, which was made easy thanks to the staff. We ordered 8 different dishes and everything was delicious, my favorite being the Khao Soi. We also tried the Thai Tea flight, which had traditional thai tea and a couple other fruit teas. I even ordered a full size Bangkok thai tea after the meal! We loved everything and were more than happy to bring the leftovers home. The staff was also amazing, they were able to easily explain everything we had questions about, and checked in on us constantly. Went here last week and CANNOT stop thinking about how amazing the food is! My friend and I got the Vegetable Pad See Ew and Tofu Pad Thai and were pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of noodles and toppings! We also got the Thai Tea Flight which consisted of four unique flavors that are all super delicious and refreshing. On top of that, the service here was incredible! This place is amazing. By far best Thai style restaurant in the area. Very blessed to have this place so close to home. Service is very quick and extremely attentive. Witnessed my young male server wearing glasses during my last visit (didn't get his name) get yelled at by another customer over something that was the customers fault. The server handled the situation very professionally and for that I left an extra tip for him. As someone who works in the industry I can respect a calm employee that knows how to handle a situation like that. Came in on a Monday at 3:40 and we were seated right away. I had forgotten to mention I made a reservation and they noticed and gave me and my boyfriend a cute little sign with my name on it for a table for 2! The customer service was very delightful. The waitress was very friendly, checking on us multiple times! We got the Papaya Salad, pork skewers, the Pad Thai, and the Khao Soi. The Papaya Salad medium spice was very enjoyable, not too spicy. My boyfriend really enjoys spicy food and said it wasn't spicy enough, but with an average spice tolerance, it was just perfect for me. The skewers were good, however, it did not stand out to me as much as the other dishes. The Pad Thai was our favorite! I really enjoyed the chewy texture of the noodles and would definitely get this again. The Khao Soi was so creamy and savory. The chicken was so tender. My boyfriend was drinking every last drop of the curry. I highly recommend trying this dish. Overall, me and my boyfriend have no complaints other than the fact that our food was given to a different table twice. We enjoyed Manon very much and will be coming back to try more! The Thai teas are from the Eastern Tales chain, which is a chain I really like! 5/5 - Leng Saab, this soup is very sour and mildly spicy! I love the flavor and the chopped vegetables went really well with the broth and pork ribs. The pork ribs are very tender and come off the bone easily, so you don't need to worry about it being messy to eat. I highly recommend this soup for people who like sour things. 3/5 - Crab fried rice, the crab pieces are very premium on top. But, the fried rice was on the soggy side. It was pretty bland by itself, so the spicy garlicky, fish sauce that the entree comes with is definitely needed. I wish they provided more sauce given how large the portion is. 2/5 - Pork Jowl, the pork jowl was tender but very soft overall. It wasn't hot when it came out and I think it'd be better if the fatty part were more crispy. The jaew sauce was really thin and sweet. I first tried Thai tea and cheesecake from Eastern Tales when they offered pick-up orders at a store near Thai Town in Los Angeles, and I've been obsessed with their Phuket-style Thai tea since then. I was a little sad that they did not have a brick-and-mortar store, and that I could only pre-order or visit their booth at a local event. Imagine my excitement after learning that they were opening their first location as a full restaurant with more than just desserts and beverages! Manon is now open in Fullerton. Their menu is extensive, and they even have the Thai tea flight! My friend and I ordered Crab Cheese Sticks, Roasted Duck Curry, and Seafood Hot Pot. The hot pot was so big that it could easily feed 3-4 people. It really brought back memories from the motherland, and the soup has the perfect level of spice. If you don't mind waiting 40 minutes for one dish, watching your chicken satay sit on the counter for 10 minutes before it's served, and then waiting over an hour just to be told they ran out of rice for your Crab Fried Rice, this might be the place for you. We were told the kitchen was juggling dine-in and takeout orders at the same time. But if you can't handle dine-in service properly, maybe it's time to pause takeouts. Everything we ordered was flavorful and fresh, especially the duck curry and the tom yum fried rice, which had the perfect balance of spice and flavor. I've come here several times and it was quickly becoming my go-to Thai spot. On my most recent visit for dinner, we ordered curry roti, pad see ew, khao soi, and pad kee mao. All the dishes came out except for the pad kee mao. After we had already eaten about half our food, we let the server know the dish was still missing. She came back saying the kitchen was backed up, which didn't seem accurate since a table that arrived after us ordered the same dish and received it before we did. It would have been better to just be honest and acknowledge the order was missed. By the time everyone in my group had finished eating, the pad kee mao finally came out. The staff member simply asked if it was okay, without offering any apology. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and service really took away from what had otherwise been a good experience. Also, the pad kee mao has ALOT of ginger--something to keep in mind if you're not a big fan. Another downside was the strong air freshener scent throughout the restaurant, which mixes the smell of the food and air freshener in not a good way. read more

I wanted to give more stars but the dine in experience was so bad. Service is extremely slow and they don't have proper management in between dine in and takeout. I understand rush hour may have some wait. But taking order 15 mins after we sat down. And waited for more than 40 mins just to be told that our pineapple fried rice is out of rice. (Then why did we need to wait 50 mins for the pad see eww????) We ended up not cancelling the fried rice because we can't wait any longer. They need to do some serious adjustment for their operation/management during the rush hour. They did give us discount later so at least they were trying to make up for it. read more
