Great dental hygienists, on time, very kid and parent friendly!

We have been using Natalie and her sister Marie forever for our daughters dental needs. She and her staff are amazing. I can also say the same for Marie and her Ortho practice, next door. They are vertically integrated so they time all appointments and cleanings. Staff is great and offices are immaculately clean. Their hygiene and practices during Covid-19 have been on point. Due to Covid, we delayed taking our daughter for her very first dentist check-up, and so she finally had her first check-up today. My daughter is 2, and she was VERY nervous about going to the dentist. Things could not have gone better. The entire team was so lovely and made both my daughter and me feel at ease. The office of Dr. Natalie takes every precaution against COVID-19. They have an open door with the air blowing outwards. All patients wait in their cars rather than the lot. The dental hygienist has everyone wash hands at the start of the visit. My daughters have been coming to this office for over 5 years. The staff is attentive and kind to children. Dr. Natalie and her staff are amazing! Every time I take my 3 children for their check ups, I walk out of the office extremely satisfied. Most of all, my kids actually enjoy their dental visits. With Covid and all, I was a little concerned at how the visit would be this time around. Once again, I was amazed. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot and conveniently checked in from my phone, how the office was able to accommodate all 3 of my children safely and under what I imagine are very difficult circumstances to practice under but still managed to make us feel very welcomed and show the utmost professionalism. Everyone is always friendly and take the time to explain everything to the children so that they always feel comfortable. I never feel rushed. I love Dr. Natalie and her staff. I was a little hesitant to bring my kid to the dentist this year because of the covid pandemic, but I was greatly impressed with their covid precaution in place in her clinic. My 7-year old son has a very high degree of anxiety about going to the dentist, so when he needed a cavity filled we knew it would be rough going. Dr. Natalie and her staff handled the situation patiently and professionally, treating him with respect by answering his questions and narrating the whole process even though the nitrous probably rendered him unable to really understand. My son is back home now, relaxing with a movie (which he insists is in 3-D on our decidedly *not* 3-D TV -- thanks, nitrous oxide!). Dr. Mansour is simply wonderful. She was super attentive and has a great balance of wanting to get the kids' teeth clean, but also make sure it was not scary or traumatic for them. She was willing to take lots of breaks when the kids were panicky about getting their teeth polished, and really listened to my concerns. She's also very thorough. The tooth that my daughter had botched by Dr Mansour has finally had to be pulled out. The patch didn't hold, they had to remove the toxic amalgam and refill it. But due to all the needless trauma trying to salvage the situation, she later developed an infection at the root. We have never had that much trouble with any of her other teeth! Hoping this nightmare is now over. read more

We love Dr. Natalie. She's been an excellent dentist for my son since he was a little one (he's now 11). He has NO fear of going to the dentist and enjoys going because of her and the way she runs her office. Dr. Natalie and her staff deserve five stars from our family! We brought our 2 year old in for her first check-up and discovered she had three cavities (she started teething at four months, had a full set by 12 months and has deep grooves in her teeth... A recipe for dental disaster)! Dr. Natalie was not only able to get my wiggle-bug child to sit still through the whole exam but she managed to take a full set of x-rays on her too! She was equally patient during our next appointment to fill my daughter's cavities. Not a tear! No valium! Amazing! The office is as good as it gets for kids going to the dentist. Dr Natalie Mansour is the very best pediatric dentist! She is wonderful with all my girls ages 16 to 5. We have been going to her for the last 3 years or so and they are always happy to go see her and not nervous at all about going to the dentist. She is thorough and caring. She has helped my family tremendously. Her staff is friendly and helpful. We also have a special needs child with medical problems that make it very difficult to work on her teeth and Dr Natalie and her staff have been wonderful with her. The two of them are truly the dynamic duo and it is a seamless transition to orthodontics if your child needs braces! It also is super convenient when your child needs cleanings while having braces.... no need to take them to the orthodontist then drive them to the dentist then back to the orthodontist. We have been going to Dr. Natalie for over 10 years now. My main complaint is that it is virtually impossible to book an appointment. They only do "treatments" before 12:15! Are you kidding me! This is incredibly insane to me given that we are working parents, children have school, etc. I have never had any physician or dentist who was so limiting. This is very frustrating and is a constant issue for our family. They need to be more flexible with their scheduling. Very disappointing. I also find that the hygienists are hit or miss. They frequently give my child a flavor other than requested that then causes my child to gag from the taste. I also do not like that she is constantly questioning my orthodontist treatment plan and practices (we do not see her sister). Why does he place the brackets so low, why does she not have to wear her retainers all day, why does she have a permanent retainer. She is not an orthodontist and should stay in her lane. Our orthodontist is the top rated orthodontist in the area and is excellent (Dr. Hudson and Dr. Chandler Ho). Very unprofessional. I wish there were more options for Pediatric Dentists in the area. read more

I had the same experience with Joey S. regarding amalgams. Dr. Mansour did not explain to me that amalgams are 50% mercury, which if I am to understand she is legally bound to by the state of California: http://www.encog 4754 nitive.com/node/ Even not knowing this I chose composite but she put the amalgam in by mistake. Then she told me it was better because it was more durable. I was horrified when I found out it contained mercury (two years later) and now I have to find a safe dentist to have them removed at great personal expense. Furthermore, I worry his mercury exposure is worse because he grinds his teeth at night. I realise the ADA's official position on amalgams is that they are safe but if you read the World Health Organisation's website on mercury they do not agree and in fact suggest dentists worldwide lessen or completely stop using mercury. Dr. Mansour has a great bedside manner and they give toys to kids but that does not take away the fact she is endangering them and not fully informing parents as to the materials she uses. read more

After several awful dental experiences with other dentists I now know that my 9 year old daughter is finally getting the BEST CARE POSSIBLE! I do not think a finer more qualified pediatric dentist in the Los Angles Area exists. Dr. Natalie was able to diagnose from another dentist's X-ray what that dentist had missed, an adult tooth coming in on top of another adult tooth. In addition to her services and that of her wonderful staff, Dr. Natalie was able to refer us to an incredible orthodontist and oral surgeon and now we are on the right track. Thank you to Dr. Natalie for her amazing knowledge, experience and expertise. Any child will love her kid-friendly personality, staff and office. Great atmosphere for kids... My son Solomon,6, and daughter, Sophie, 3, enjoyed the experience getting their teeth cleaned today. Friendly staff and hard working. Great lobby for the kids in the waiting room and the kids can watch a Disney movie while getting worked on and get to pick a toy at the end. Dr. Mansour herself communicates directly and specifically on what your kids need to do to keep their teeth clean. 5 stars. Great children's dentist. read more

Dr. Natalie is a more than a smile saver, she's an ambassador for the dental profession. We came to her after a HORRIFIC experience at another dentist (let's just say they don't "care for kids" ) and was in a difficult spot, as my son had a few cavities and was now terrified of the dentist. Her office staff and assistants are wonderful, kind and patient and never make you feel like a bother. Wait times are minimal and it's easy to make an appointment. The office is clean and tidy and always has a fun movie playing for the kids and a great little room with lots to keep kids occupied including arcade style and personal video games. Dr. Natalie has a wonderful bedside manner; is smart, sweet and incredibly knowledgeable!! She put my son at ease and quite honestly made my day. I was traumatized as well, from the previous dentist, and broke down into tears, while checking in, and during the consultation. She takes time to show and explain everything to the parents (while her assistant plays video games with your child and lets your child pick a fun gift in the gift room) without the child present to allow you to really comprehend and make the best plans etc. She was shocked when I told her about our previous experience and assured me my son's teeth were not neglected and quite normal and that we would have an easy plan of care and maintenance. Needless to say his smile is fantastic, albeit a 6 year old smile, ahahah, missing teeth here or there, bless that tooth-fairy :) He knows we are returning to Dr. Natalie and is not afraid at all!!! I'm so very happy with Dr. Natalie - she was great! We just got back from our very first visit to the dentist ever, and my 4 year-old twin girls had NO issues. They had a great first experience. I took my 7 year old son to Dr. Mansour for an infected tooth (swollen gum). She is very friendly and extremely personable. She not only made my son feel comfortable, she made great rapport with me as the parent. She answered all of my questions and was very polite and professional. Her office staff is amazing as well, from the receptionist, to the hygienist, to the dental assistants. They all made us feel very comfortable. The dental assistant (Iris) was very nice. She held my son's hand during the tooth extraction and made my son feel comfortable. She was very caring and nice! Our Insurance is accepted here and even if it wasn't, I wouldn't hesitate to take my son to her. She is honest, personable, professional and really knows her stuff.
