Had a blowout on the freeway in our RV. Whom ever replaced the space, replaced it with an incorrect tire. We called a number of tire shops and no one had our tire size. I had my tires fixed at Manuel's before a road trip to Vegas. The guy didn't tighten the lug nuts all the way. The tire on our Tahoe flew off while we were going 80 miles an hour in the fast lane on the freeway in the middle of no where. It completely snapped the bolt off and the drum went flying one way and the tire another. Thank God for my father in law who drove over 2 hours to help us out. Be careful. Make sure they tighten your lug nuts. And thank God our kids were not in the car with us. read more

I popped a tire going up a curb and slightly dented my rim. I was surprised to find my car, that I bought new, didn't come with a spare. I tried to call around to find a tire shop that carried my size tire and couldn't find it at 4 other locations. Manuel was the only one with a similar size and offered to straighten out my rim and put on the temporary tire. He also offered to order the correct size and take back the temporary and use the credit for the new tire. Fast forward two hours and I get towed to Manuel's and he surprised me with a tire that matched my current tires exactly! It only cost me $45 for the gently used tire and repaired rim. ** Update: DO NOT GET YOUR BRAKES FIXED HERE! I went to fix this mistake MADE BY MANUEL'S and it was extremely expensive to fix the mess made by this business. I had to buy new rotors because Manuels. They completely jacked up my roaters and now they need to be replaced. HOW IN THE HECK DOES THIS HAPPEN WHEN YOU A PERSON GOES IN TO GET BRAKES REPLACED FOR FIRST TIME!! I'm usually a fan of this place, but now I will take my business elsewhere. This is the first time I have had a problem, and I was shocked by the owners reaction. I asked him to why my steering wheel now shook after I got my brakes fixed. Instead of saying bring it down and I'll help you with the issue, the owner raised his voice and accused me of not reporting the issue before my brakes got fixed. As I told him it wasn't an issue before, he accused me of not reporting the issue before him. I had to continually tell him I did not have the issue before, and how I called before I brought my car in, and basically what happened the day of, and after. He finally agreed to look at my car again and told me he didn't check my front brakes in the first place. So after accusing me of being a dishonest customer you finally agree to check it out. Got my tires from here and thought everything was fine 2 days later my car vibrated so bad it was like I was offroading in my car. I thought it was my alignment the whole time and finally went to get it checked out by my normal guy. They gave me a tire with a bubble in it and because of the bubble my car was completely out of whack. Luckily my normal guy fixed it all up for me. I won't be going back here. read more

My husband took his car there to get tires After a few days of driving it the car would shake. So we took it back. Manuel Sr said the car can do that and it was our fault. They also stripped my lug nuts. Told me they could sell me new ones so so I told him sure. Then I notice him looking in a bucket for my new lug nuts. On road trip and in a hurry to get to Phoenix. Have a flat tire. Pull in here and am promptly helped by a nice young man (Christian). He immediately went to work on tire and ended up putting on the spare. All told I was in and out in 20 minutes. Christian did a great job and was very friendly and fast. I couldn't have been happier! I took my truck in for a new engine and paid half up front do they could purchase a used engine. That was in September 2017. At the end of October they returned it for 22 hours with a used engine with an oil pressure reading very high. I paid him the balance and returned the truck to repair the oil pressure problem. Gabriel the owners son said the engine was no good and he would have to get another one. That was 7 months ago. My truck sits in his shop and he has not completed the job I paid him for. He refuses to return my phone call and when I go to the shop he and his father avoid me. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! VERY SHADY!!! These guys aren't even mechanics!! Took my car here for a used tire. The owner stripped and cross threaded 2 out of 4 lug bolts and damaged the threads in my hub. He did a ghetto repair by chasing the threads with a tap even tho it was quite obvious the hub is trashed. On top of that, he did not have the right lug bolt so they cut a different bolt to be used. He installed the wheel back on and tell me I'm good to go. I drive off and my car starts making a loud metal on metal grinding sound. On top of the grinding sound, I can here the bolt they cut, which was too long, hitting my parking brake return spring. I take it back to him and he has the nerve to tell me that these problems aren't related to their repair job. He kept trying to blame it on other things and even had the nerve to yell and curse at me. I made a scene in front of other customers and they finally decided the attempt a repair. He took the wheel back off and removed the brake drum. A heap of metal bits and shavings come falling out of the brake drum. The disc brake backing plate was bent ridiculously out of shape. He then cleaned the debris and bent the plate back into shape. He reassembled the car and lower it off the jack with the parking brake not set. My car goes rolling backwards into a wall of tires. I then take it for a test drive and the popping noise is still there. I return and insist he comes on a ride along in which he rudely refused. He then tells me that he's done working on my car and I need to leave. Luckily I took photos of the damages during the whole ordeal. I will be taking him to civil court to be reimbursed for the proper repairs at a reputable shop. I'm disgusted by the experience and shocked that they would dare let a car leave with 2 lug bolts holding the wheel on! read more

My daughter recently took her truck to Manuels In Highland on Baseline for a free oil change she won at a 66er's game at Arrowhead park. 3 weeks later, we notice her truck is leaking oil from the bottom. We take the truck to the Toyota dealer, where we always go, but we thought we would try and save some money by utilizing the free oil change coupon. Big mistake!! It turns out that Manuels forgot to put a gasket on the oil plug! How incompetent can a mechanic be??? The manager I spoke with apoljized and said their #1 goal is customer service. Maybe their #1 goal should be vehicle maintenance with competent mechanics! If they cant perform a simple oil change properly, I certainly wouldn't trust them to do anything else.
