I was searching for a brunch spot and saw the great rating and was not disappointed. Our server was amazing, all the staff were super friendly. I ordered the short rib hash which was a special, loved the combination of ingredients plus a short rib hash isn't something you see at too many breakfast/brunch spots My husband loved his veggie crepe, the hollandaise sauce was excellent. He loved his candy cane mocha. Everything was served beautifully. I loved that even though it was upscale it still felt relaxed.

We were excited to check it out. We waited about 15 minutes but instead of waiting in the very small vestibule we were able to wait in the truck. We ordered the banana foster French toast and the breakfast tacos. Both meals were large and delicious. Our waiter was Jacob who did a great job. We will be back, there was a lot that I wanted to try.

Our third visit to the Maple Spot, and we're still impressed with everything they're doing: food quality is still high, as is the service and the overall look and cleanliness of the place. This visit, she had the Irish skillet breakfast and I had the traditional two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. The skillet is home fries topped with corned beef, Swiss cheese, onions and peppers and two eggs, and she says it was a delicious blend of flavors. She'd opted for white toast and I had the whole wheat: both thick cuts and served with mixed berry preserves (which is sold by the jar, if you like it as much as we did). With water, our bill came to about $26 after the 3% discount for payment in cash...not bad, considering the price of food in general.

More elevated breakfast spot. Glad they had a vestibule for a chilly day. Food was decent. Farmer Brothers coffee served. Breakfast Burrito needed better presentation. It looked like school cafeteria dish, though tasty. Irish Skillet was filling. Espresso drinks were good. Sadly, no real half and half; only mini moos. Fairly busy on a Mon morning... lots of seniors and a couple of screaming kids. Bright, open, clean lines, and modern aesthetics. Music level perfect; just below conversation level. Pics tell more. Bring cash or pay extra for card payment. Overall, feels like a nice coney island.

Great new brunch spot. I can't say this is anything extra special but the food was good and the autumn specials were interesting. I got the waffle. Nothing came with it. I ordered a side of sausage. Had to ask for butter. You make a beautiful crispy waffle you should serve a nice dollop of whipped butter. Hubby got a club sandwich and he said it was good. Came with fries. It is VERY loud when crowded. Very hard to hear. Our waitress had to take our order again because she forgot to hit send on the electronic tablet they use. Never saw her again but the bus boy was very helpful. Not sure if we would go back mainly cause it's not close by and there are other brunch spots just as good.

Went for breakfast/brunch and found Maple Spot on Yelp, came here because of the good reviews. This place is in a shopping plaza but once you go in, it's a super cute restaurant. It was packed when we arrived around 11:00 AM but were seated right away. The service here was super-fast and my waitress was on point, gave great recommendations and was nice. I ordered the following: Mocha Latte 10/10 perfect balance of mocha & coffee, not too sweet. Greek Omelet, 9/10 great, filling and healthy. Maybe a little bit more flavor needed but it was good. My plus one got the breakfast meal with two eggs and bacon. The bacon was a little overdone for our liking. Came out stiff as a board. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - They were good but not memorable since I've had better. Pancakes were thick with blueberries and there could have been more cream cheese glaze on top, felt a bit dry. However, it was not bad and if you like thick pancakes, you would like it. IMO. The total was $55 for two people, decent. Free parking in the plaza. Would probably go back for the coffee and the omelet.

Maple Spot is the perfect balance of family dining with quality food and a modern, comfortable atmosphere. Kelly was fabulous and took wonderful care of us with her friendly personality and great humor. We also noticed that the owner came around and was really hands-on. This is something I love seeing in small businesses and you can tell he takes great pride in his restaurant's success. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully! They have gluten free waffle/pancake options and even make their own house, made triple berry jam- phenomenal! I had the lox avocado toast, which was the perfect salty and lemony balance with the toast (loved that they had sourdough as an option)! My guy had the skillet and we shared the raspberry crêpes, and both did not disappoint! We both remarked how clean the restaurant was, and even though it was busy, we were seated quickly and our food arrived promptly. I would love to come back again!

To say that this place exceeded my expectations is an understatement. I came here with the expectations of a small strip mall breakfast place and was introduced to a bustling hot commodity. The staff was great, our server, Emily, was attentive and focused, even as she was juggling full tables. Everything came out rather quickly, and was still perfect. The breakfast burrito was amazing and a lot more than expected. The campfire waffle was perfect, I was truly blown out of the water by how good it was, one of the best waffles I've ever had. There's also a very comedic man walking around with a thick accent, a nice part of the culture of the place. I absolutely recommend this place to anybody visiting the local area.

Here we are again. Another delicious meal. The food here is out of sight good. No need for syrup on these. So good

Our third visit here and certainly not our last. First the service was outstanding. Our waitress Leza was very attentive and courteous. Next the ambiance, bright and cheery with clean and open styling. And finally the food. We loved everything we tried! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and the presentation was just as impressive. Today's pick was the Caprese Chicken sandwich with a generous portion of their amazing French fries. The sandwich had great flavors and ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection. My husband's choice was the western omelet which was also perfectly cooked with crispy hash browns. This place will now be added to our favorites list.

Well, I'll raise you 1.2 for 5 stars for Host!! Ample street parking on a Wednesday morning in Utica (also public on south side), hubby & I walked past a few businesses and into Host and immediately somehow felt we'd been elevated! The ambience is edgy and elegant giving off an elite vibe matched by the informative attentive staff and everything that was set before us. The barista approached us immediately taking our latte orders from a versatile coffee menu, and our lovely waitress Bailey didn't miss a beat welcoming us, fielding questions and sharing the restaurant's cool concept of "Host"-ing new chefs bimonthly representing freshly-curated menus of palate delights. She later informed us of classes held on 2nd floor for making cocktails and sushi! While enjoying our lovely lattes, we quickly ordered veggie omelets with mushroom and bacon additions that were timely served and clearly plated with care. My husband noticed there were no salt & pepper shakers anywhere, signifying the chef's confidence in his dishes! And indeed our meals needed no help, as we savored each bite of perfectly cooked omelets bursting with flavor complimented by crisp sliced potatoes dressed in a lemon drizzle. Easily the best omelet I've had in my hometown, probably in my state! I made sure to compliment the chef through the open pass-through kitchen on our way out after lingering after our meals not wanting to rush out of this lovely place. What a beautiful start to the day; we can't wait to return with more family!! Thank you for "Host"-ing us!!

We started with Old Fashioneds, which were very good, although it did take a while for our drinks to arrive. Our server was friendly and attentive, but they were clearly very busy, and there was a wait by the time we were leaving. For appetizers, we ordered both the Devil Goons--seafood rangoons made with Sriracha and ghost chili peppers--and the regular rangoons. The Devil Goons were excellent; I had never had spicy rangoons before, and it was a great twist. The regular rangoons, however, were just okay in comparison. I ordered the red curry and thought it was just alright. I asked for medium spice, which was tolerable, but it lacked the rich coconut milk and curry flavors I'm used to from other places. My friends ordered fried rice, and their portions were noticeably larger than mine. For a similar price point, the portion sizes felt inconsistent. That said, they really enjoyed the fried rice. Overall, it's a cool spot to check out and clearly very popular. If I return, I'd skip the red curry. I'd also recommend making a reservation if you're planning ahead.

We ate the potato and mushroom and mozzarella pierogi with the onions, cream cheese or sour cream. Pierogi took about 6-8 minutes on medium heat on the stovetop to brown some. The mushroom wasn't my favorite, as the mushrooms would gush out some water from it, was a rather unexpected experience, not for me. The mushroom and cheese were decent. The kraut and onion and the chicken pot pie fell apart somewhat during the cooking and flipping for us. The potatoes were as expected, not too bad.

Husband asked what beers were on tap and there was only one, thankfully one he liked. We tried to order a charcuterie board and they were out. We ordered calamari and garlic dough knots for an appetizer and the dough knots were pretty good! When we ordered the meals they all came out staggered and the one year olds came out many minutes after the first meals and it was the first one ordered. The kids meal (grilled chicken and mashed potatoes) was suppose to come with applesauce and we had to ask for it again and they said they were out so he got a yogurt instead (he didn't know the difference, but I could see how this could upset a kid). The chicken was good but the mashed potatoes were very bland even for a kids meal. I ordered a beyond burger with cheese and it came with no cheese (they took it back and brought it back with cheese). We had to ask several times for ketchup and mustard for the burgers. My burger was very dry and needed some kind of sauce or mayo. The truffle fries are an $8 add on, which is very pricey to me. They were good but not worth $8 more. Husband got the fish and chips and said they were ok. We both ended up with stomach aches after we got home. The outdoor area was fun, especially for the kid.
