I'm a fan of Waffle House and have visited many of their locations. This one is a bit different as it's located in a downtown area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once inside, it's identical to any other Waffle House.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I sat at the bar since there were no tables available. I ordered the Two Egg Breakfast and it was served promptly and was good. The service was the usual Waffle House service.

Finally had a Waffle House experience and it was amazing. I stuck with the traditional - a waffle, though I added chocolate chips, and others had waffles with eggs, hash browns, and sausage. You know you aren't getting gourmet food here, but the waffle was delicious and hit all the right notes. A solid, affordable breakfast with excellent service and wonderful vibes.

You can never go wrong with Waffle House ! I got the All Star Breakfast with a blueberry waffle and I got sausage gravy on my hash browns. It was great after a long morning visiting the museum.

Absolute worst service at any Waffle House... no refill, no water

This is my second time eating here, both times before a basketball game. The first (last month) time absolutely was terrible, our server didn't ask us if we wanted any refills, bring a second cup of coffee, check on our food, or take a single thing away as we were eating. Honestly, my worst Waffle House experience ever... That server was rude, got mad at another table because they didn't want to sit in her section, because the table and seats were not cleaned... she shouldn't work in the hospitality service. Last Friday, we came here before another game, and this time had a different server; she was much cooler, constantly asked us if we needed anything, and refilled our drinks. This was a complete 180 compared to last month. characters If you come here, sit at the counter instead of a booth, and hope you get a better server. They only have one male server here; he seems really cool and takes care of people. Due to the location of this Waffle House, the staff have to deal with a lot of interesting characters, you name it, you will probably see it here. This probably doesn't help their mood, and unfortunately, that is just a part of their job, so if you do get a good server here, tip them well. The food here is greasy, yeah... but for the cost and amount you get, at least you leave here full on a $15 meal, vs spending $50 at State Farm Arena and still feeling hungry. For those wondering about this being Waffle House #1996. I thought this Waffle House opened during the 96 Olympic's, considering it's number, but it didn't open until 2013. Having a Waffle House in downtown is a must for every big US city!!! So so good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They play nice Waffle House songs like about "raisin toast"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great Waffle House! Only downside is for the paid parking you'd have to do, other than that the staff was pretty quick and polite. Food comes hot and delicious. Great price.

We stumbled upon here. We spent the day at the aquarium and cola factory. Then we walked around the park and saw this waffle house. We were planning on eating at a waffle house sometime during our trip, so why not. The service was a bit chaotic as we did not know who was our server or at the end how to pay. The food was delicious! I was shocked actually. I got the cheese steak hashbrown bowl. I expected mediocre food and since the price was so cheap. But i think it was worth. I only ate half of my meal and was able to finish it the next day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the TV in the restaurant was giving random quiz questions about the city and about waffle house. Gave it a nice chill ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Located directly across from the world famous Centennial Park, this Waffle House was the perfect start to a few days in Atlanta, as our hotel was located not too far away. Upon entering the staff, as expected was just as welcoming as all Waffle Houses across the country, but this one seemed a little bit more elevated as they had televisions mounted on the wall and shared history facts about the restaurant "in case you didn't know". Given the location, it makes total sense. As for our food, I stuck with my go-to... All-Star Special, but instead of my grits in a bowl, I ordered some hashbrowns via my kids' request... and of course, I had to have a sweet tea (yeah, at 7:30 am). Customer service was great. Food was good, and it was the perfect start to an early morning in Atlanta. If you're not in walking distance, there is a parking lot located behind the building. Parking is not free. You do have to pay using the QR code, and expect it to run you about $6 -7 for an hour.

A VERY good breakfast, with quality coffee, at a surprisingly great value compared to the equivalent in SoCal. Too bad they are based only in the South.

During our visit we were excited to have a Waffle House close to the hotel. We stopped by for breakfast, drinks Coffee & Iced tea not bad. Main dish I had Waffle & side of eggs, scramble , man those waffles are just so good, eggs were good as well. Hubby had the The All star special , waffle, eggs, bacon, biscuit & grits , sounds like a lot & well depending how starving u are it can be a lot , we probably had half our meal but no biggie made for great leftovers the next morning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small location, typical Waffle House decor, service was quick & easy & prices were very reasonable, we enjoyed our breakfast & would definitely come back when visiting the area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I guess there's a reason why Waffle House is more known for the fights that take place at their establishments than their food. I decided to try Waffle House for the first time. I ordered the All-Star Special and while it was OK, it doesn't rival iHop or Roscoe's. The waffles were OK. I thought they'd be a bit more special and tasteful given it's part of the name. The eggs were fine, the bacon was crispy, hash browns were overcooked and hard. The biscuit was terrible. It tasted like it was cooked on a grill that hadn't been cleaned in over a month. At least I tried it.. The bottled Simply Orange juice was good though lol.

The staff here is kind and patient. However, the management decisions don't make sense. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Went here one day for early breakfast and was told there's not only no in-person seating, but you can't even ORDER at the window.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had to order take-out *online* while standing outside the store. Then, they charge a 20% service fee for TAKE-OUT at the window. For Waffle House!!! Is the cost of the food not paying the server who is preparing the food for take-out??? If it's not enough, then raise your prices. Automatic service fee on take-out is ridiculous. Unfortunately this was the only breakfast option open at 5:40am. To make matters worse though, the next day, the website wasn't working to order. So now despite being "open 24 hrs", there was no way to order food period. Ridiculous policies really.

Went this morning for breakfast around 8am. I was greeted right away, placed my order instantly, and had my food within 10 minutes. I haven't been to a Waffle House in a while, but this visit reminded me why I used to love it. Harold took great care of me--he was attentive and made sure everything was just right. I ordered the All-Star breakfast and it was just as good as I remembered. No complaints at all!

They had sugar free maple syrup this is great!!

Was visiting from out of town and wanted to try the infamous Waffle House. The waffles were actually pretty good with the toppings up top.

The space is clean but not sterile: exposed brick, warm wood, and a bar that glows like it wants you to linger. *The food* skips the tired "burgers and mac" checklist. Think short rib agnolotti with smoked corn puree, charred broccolini with miso-garlic butter, and a fried chicken sandwich that somehow stays crisp under a jalapeño honey glaze. Portions are generous without being wasteful, and everything tastes intentional like the kitchen tested it 10 times before it hit the menu. *The cocktails are the real flex.* The menu changes seasonally, but the bar team leans into flavor over gimmicks. I tried the *Oaxacan Old Fashioned* with mezcal, mole bitters, and orange peel that's torched tableside. Smoky, slightly sweet, zero gimmick. My friend went for the *Cucumber Basil Gimlet* and said it tasted like summer in a glass. No sugary syrup bombs here. Bartenders actually explain what's in your drink if you ask, and they're good at steering you if you're unsure. Service hit the sweet spot between attentive and relaxed. Water refills showed up without hovering, and the server knew the menu well enough to call out what's spicy, what's rich, and what's worth splitting. It feels like a place locals will become regulars at, but it's good enough to bring out-of-town friends to. Creative without being precious, tasty without being safe. Sorry I didn't take pictures,
