Having a Waffle House in downtown is a must for every big US city!!! So so good! They play nice Waffle House songs like about "raisin toast"

Great Waffle House! Only downside is for the paid parking you'd have to do, other than that the staff was pretty quick and polite. Food comes hot and delicious. Great price.

We stumbled upon here. We spent the day at the aquarium and cola factory. Then we walked around the park and saw this waffle house. We were planning on eating at a waffle house sometime during our trip, so why not. The service was a bit chaotic as we did not know who was our server or at the end how to pay. The food was delicious! I was shocked actually. I got the cheese steak hashbrown bowl. I expected mediocre food and since the price was so cheap. But i think it was worth. I only ate half of my meal and was able to finish it the next day. I like the TV in the restaurant was giving random quiz questions about the city and about waffle house. Gave it a nice chill ambiance.

Located directly across from the world famous Centennial Park, this Waffle House was the perfect start to a few days in Atlanta, as our hotel was located not too far away. Upon entering the staff, as expected was just as welcoming as all Waffle Houses across the country, but this one seemed a little bit more elevated as they had televisions mounted on the wall and shared history facts about the restaurant "in case you didn't know". Given the location, it makes total sense. As for our food, I stuck with my go-to... All-Star Special, but instead of my grits in a bowl, I ordered some hashbrowns via my kids' request... and of course, I had to have a sweet tea (yeah, at 7:30 am). Customer service was great. Food was good, and it was the perfect start to an early morning in Atlanta. If you're not in walking distance, there is a parking lot located behind the building. Parking is not free. You do have to pay using the QR code, and expect it to run you about $6 -7 for an hour.

They had sugar free maple syrup this is great!!

My first time in Atlanta and it was the best breakfast I have had here, I ordered the hash brown bowl and it was so good, the staff is amazing too kind and friendly service. It is great the open kitchen so you see how they cook your breakfast. They use stainless steel good points for it. Nice family friendly ambience, I went with my parents and we had a great time.

I guess there's a reason why Waffle House is more known for the fights that take place at their establishments than their food. I decided to try Waffle House for the first time. I ordered the All-Star Special and while it was OK, it doesn't rival iHop or Roscoe's. The waffles were OK. I thought they'd be a bit more special and tasteful given it's part of the name. The eggs were fine, the bacon was crispy, hash browns were overcooked and hard. The biscuit was terrible. It tasted like it was cooked on a grill that hadn't been cleaned in over a month. At least I tried it.. The bottled Simply Orange juice was good though lol.

The staff here is kind and patient. However, the management decisions don't make sense. Went here one day for early breakfast and was told there's not only no in-person seating, but you can't even ORDER at the window. We had to order take-out *online* while standing outside the store. Then, they charge a 20% service fee for TAKE-OUT at the window. For Waffle House!!! Is the cost of the food not paying the server who is preparing the food for take-out??? If it's not enough, then raise your prices. Automatic service fee on take-out is ridiculous. Unfortunately this was the only breakfast option open at 5:40am. To make matters worse though, the next day, the website wasn't working to order. So now despite being "open 24 hrs", there was no way to order food period. Ridiculous policies really.

Went this morning for breakfast around 8am. I was greeted right away, placed my order instantly, and had my food within 10 minutes. I haven't been to a Waffle House in a while, but this visit reminded me why I used to love it. Harold took great care of me--he was attentive and made sure everything was just right. I ordered the All-Star breakfast and it was just as good as I remembered. No complaints at all!

I've never been to waffle House but anyone knows to keep a certain level of expectation when dining at this chain. My Hash Brown Bowl w/ Sausage, Ham, Egg, Cheese tasted like a college kid made it but not bad at late hours. The waffle, however, as the namesake of the diner, I had slightly higher expectations for and was very disappointed. Waffle didn't taste good and it looks overcooked in an unclean waffle maker. No issues with service.

It's my first time going to Waffle House so I didn't know what to expect. When I went to eat there were only 2 workers for the ENTIRE restaurant- the chef and the waitress. Hats off to them for being able to pull it off by themselves. They served us the best that they could. The food was good, it wasn't the best. It kinda tasted like something you could make at home. The portions and price are fair IMO. The place is nice, you have views of the park. There's enough space on your table for your plate. I recommend if you're in Downtown Atlanta, you should come here for some food.

a greasy spoon at its best, food was decent but service just as expected not the best. Never got our full order so had to get the check revised.

It's definitely not the best food I've ever had but it was my first time visiting. Service was extremely pleasant. Definitely vintage atmosphere and sound track.

This was my first Waffle House experience and I'm really satisfied with my visit. The interior gives you a classic American diner vibe. We were quickly seated in a booth and the staff was very attentive. I heard the hashbrown bowls were a must try. The Bacon, Egg & Cheese hashbrowns are crispy with a good amount of bacon and eggs, it's a very filling dish. The All-Star Special is an amazing value that included two eggs, your way, toast, waffle and I tried grits. I wasn't a fan of grits, but I'm glad I at least tried it. Prices are more than reasonable and the other menu items look good too.

We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

Typically I research and take a peek at the menu, photos, etc. but I didn't this time. Peters Street has ample street parking and a few lots for a fee. Just check the signs before you leave your car. The entry is unassuming because there's so many little places on this street but once you enter you're in another time! The medieval theme is super cool - a Barron greeted us at the door. Seating is casual - find a spot to sit and then order from the digital menu at the door. Orders are taken at the counter but entrees and drinks are brought to your table. The owner Josh was extremely accommodating! He gave us some tastings of coffee, tea and the French toast. 10/10! I personally ordered the Blueberry Matcha and a Bowl (done keto). Everyone's meal looked amazing and not a crumb was left. We left with some of the canned whiskey drinks - Strawberry Whiskey Sour and Kentucky Mule made with bourbon. Josh said best enjoyed mixed together! The photo opps, food, drinks and aesthetics are so good here. Only comment is that the tables are pub or cafe style and best for small groups or just takeover a section like we did. Enjoy!

That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.
