However someone like my boyfriend would be bothered by that because of like microplastics or something. Anyways, then they put everything in a panini press and wrap it up. The sandwich was great, the bread was thick too so I'm glad I put the extra thousand island. I also ordered the loaded potato salad and the chipotle pasta salad. The chipotle pasta salad was flavorless and just honestly kind of weird. Wouldn't order again and I threw it away. The potato salad was very thick chunks of potatoes and very little salt or flavor, very different than what I had imagined from the description on their menu. It wasn't horrible though and I finished about half. Also would not order this again. Customer service and the Ruben are the reason for the 4 stars, if customer service wasn't good then I would've given 3 stars due to the sides not being good.

Others might find it pleasant, but I did not care for it much. The fig sandwich was the one I was more excited about and expected some sweetness to be cut down by the bacon. I don't think it was a perfect balance between the two, and I got a tad much of the overwhelming sweetness of the figs in this sandwich. Again, others might enjoy it, but I didn't care for it. I really wanted to give this place a great review, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The beer looks fun though and might be a good reason to give this place a try, and you may enjoy their sandwiches and many people have. For me, that's a no-go.

They have excellent espresso--I've never been disappointed with a daily special, nor suffered from a burnt shot pulled. Their baked goods are made in-house from scratch, and are always delicious. My personal favorite is grabbing a bacon and cheddar stuffed bagel roll for breakfast with whatever daily espresso special they have. Their oatmeal is another favorite, and I love that they offer flaxseed in it. They even grind the flaxseed, which shows the owner's knowledge of nutrition, as the nutrients can only be absorbed by the body when the seeds are broken up prior to consumption! You can choose two fruits to add, and I always go with banana and blueberry when the option is available. I also love their paninis--in wrap form. The menu options for paninis are well-considered combinations of flavors that always taste delicious! I believe my favorite is called Dave's Choice, or something similar--it has a scrumptious honey mustard sauce! The only slight qualm I have is the quality of their deli meats--it could be better, considering the extremely high quality of the coffee and baked goods. I definitely recommend this place for a brunch stop on your next day off! read more

There is nothing I can say that will suffice. We love this place and we eat/drink here at least twice a week. Let me recommend the Ham and Cheese Brioche, any of the sandwiches, and their BAGELS! They offer boiled bagels and they are amazing. More than the food though, is the staff. We have truly come to love seeing their smiling faces and our daughter constantly wants to "GO TO MAPLE STREET!" We believe in building community near where you live and Maple Street has definitely become part of our community. read more

i had a quiche which has to be the creamiest and cheesiest quiche i've ever had! they serve it with what appears to be and tastes like a homemade sort of apple sauce/baked apples. so that is filling in and of itself! i'm a boring coffee drinker... i get plain lattes every time and hot (not cold) b/c i love the foam! and they're delicious here! i love the indoor decor which somehow reminds me of a country cottage. it is very cozy and quaint... perfect for a conversation over coffee! read more

Went here with my friends. It was soooo crowded and service was really slow. I got a pesto sandwich and it was delicious. I also ordered a side of apple sauce because I heard really good things about it. But to my surprise, there were a bunch of tiny bits of what I think was hard plastic in mine and another one. It was really gross so me and my friends all threw it away. I don't know why something like that would be in their 'freshly made' apple sauce. Not going back there again. read more
