    Grilled oysters and bone marrow

Marbled & Fin brunch was great - food, service and atmosphere! Broiled oysters and bone marrow- what a flavorful dish- a must try! The espresso martini was definitely in my top 3. And the service was exceptional, thanks to Rebecca!

Our favorite dinner on a recent week long trip to Charleston SC! The restaurant is beautiful, the servers were warm and welcoming and food was delicious!

Oh. My. Goodness. Marbled and Fin has secured a spot as one of my top CHS restaurants! A friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a girls dinner since she's out of state. Reservations were at 515 and we arrived about a half hour early. The hostess was an absolute doll. So sweet, personable, and helpful. She let us know they would seat us closer to our designated time but to help ourselves to a seat at the bar. Started with delicious cocktails with fun innuendos. Very strong. Lovely. The hostess came back later and escorted us to our seats - and the fun dinner service began. You receive a complimentary welcome cocktail table side - tonight was a peach gimlet. No notes! We decided to try a little of everything (thank you to our amazing waiter- he let us know serving sizes and suggesting splitting some appetizers). We had the scallops, Caesar and milk bread. I don't think there was a single morsel left on those plates. For dinner we had the wet aged ribeye with the bone marrow & salmon. Sides: steak fries, lobster Mac and cheese, creamed spinach, and asparagus. The steak fries were such a stand out. Wow. never would have thought but incredible! Dessert had to be the affogato & crème brulee. Everything was Devine. The restaurant is bright and airy and incredibly beautiful. We sat at the bar booths and there was a little blonde girl who was so on top of refilling our water that it became comical. She was such a doll! Cannot say enough about her Incredible restaurant- impeccable service. Needs to be on any CHS list!

What an incredible restaurant! After living in Charleston for over two years, I can't believe this was my first time. I highly recommend this for birthdays, anniversaries, friends, or family in town, etc. We split the wedge salad, and I am thankful we did because it is MASSIVE. I can be picky with my wedge salads, and this was by far one of the best I've ever had. We saw the table next to us enjoying the Broiled Oysters & Bone Marrow, and I'm so glad that we ordered it. It was so unique in flavor and delicious. For our main entree, we both ordered the NY Strip, and our server was excellent in ensuring our steaks were cooked to our taste. Overall, it was a delightful evening with excellent service, food, and lighting.

Always a great meal with excellent service. One of my favorite places in Charleston. The milk bread is a favorite and all the cocktails are so good and unique.

*Brunch Review* Mimosa Tower. That is all. But seriously - if you're looking for a delicious brunch in the downtown area look no further than Marbled & Fin. Friends and I stopped in recently to celebrate my birthday. From the moment we walked through the door, the entire experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service superb, and the mimosa cocktail tower (which was the entire reason I wanted to dine here) was everything I wanted it to be for our table. As an added plus, they do have a small free parking lot adjacent to the restaurant but just make sure you dont park in one of the designated spots for the hotel it shares the parking lot with. In addition to the tower, a few of the standout brunch items we enjoyed were the: - tuna tartare - steak and eggs - french toast - truffle mac & cheese - creme brulee The tartare and mac & cheese were definitely table favorites that had us all fighting over the last few bites. If you're looking for an impeccable meal, add Marbled & Fin to your list in Charleston. I'll definitely be back to enjoy dinner service in the near future.

If you're looking for a Charleston restaurant for special occasions this is it. Total bill for two was $600 including tip. But we ordered a decent amount. Got all three lux bites which were delicious and tiny. The bone marrow and roasted oysters were a show stopper. GENEROUS amount of hot bone marrow and you get a basket of charred bread to make open faced oyster bone marrow toast. Insane. Beef carpaccio was very nice. Good size. We had the Australian Wagyu filet mignon rare which was super tender. And the Australian Wagyu rib eye rare which was delicious though had a decent amount of inedible fat. But that's a ribeye for ya. No room for dessert but they did give us chocolates. Also gave us free champagne for my birthday which I do beleive was champagne and not prosecco. Great spot but be ready to spend it all.

    Oysters on the half shell

Came for a Valentine's Day brunch and received amazing and attentive service from Allison! Tressa also helped us, the staff work very well together to provide a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is calm with plenty windows for natural sunlight. Oysters were 10/10, I need to go back for more. Prime steak was juicy and flavorful, recommended at medium temperature due to the lean cut of meat. I'm a ribeye type of girl, but I was very satisfied with the prime steak. They offer a table side roasted garlic butter and the steak comes with an Au poivre that was super tasty. Eggs were perfectly cooked the way I requested. Hash brown is a patty, similar to the golden arch restaurant (haha), but less greasy and tastes like real potatoes. Oysters on the half shell were 10/10! They were from NC, I have to go back for these. Espresso martini is served in an unusually tall martini glass and tastes very delicious.

Just us, celebrating our anniversary. These seats are the best for two.

Marbled & Fin is excellent! It's that simple. If you're looking for a fantastic dinner to celebrate an occasion, then this is it. We stopped by one evening for cocktails before dinner elsewhere and were very impressed with the bar, the vibe and the service. We later returned for that special occasion dinner to celebrate our anniversary and the service was fantastic, on point, and special. We sat at the circular seats by the bar, were greeted with a special welcome note and house cocktail which was great. Their cocktail menu has something for everyone, but I had to order my favorite cocktail, the Last Word. Their dinner menu is stunning with luxury bites, raw bar items, starters & salads, sides, and then their fine selection of red meats and seafood entrees. We had starters of hamachi crudo, broiled oysters & bone marrow, and caesar salad. The hamichi was fresh and amazing, while the oysters & bone marrow had a richness that was impressive. I had a NY strip, while my husband had a filet. We also enjoyed sides of roasted mushrooms and roasted carrots. Everything was paced perfectly, allowing us time to enjoy the moment of each course. Then the service was superb from beginning to end. Marbled & Fin made us feel special, and the dinner was amazing, and one to remember.

Such a delicious meal in an absolutely gorgeous restaurant!!! Service was a tad bit slow but still wonderful and not over the top which I prefer. Everything was cooked fantastically and full of flavor. The drinks were nice and strong as well.

Absolutely loved everything we ordered. The bone marrow and baked oysters were the star of the show followed by the Australian Wagu. Also enjoyed the hamachi crudo. We got the dressed oysters but unless you like sweet oysters I would still with the regular. As always the wine list pairs perfectly with everything always. We were here to celebrate a birthday and were greeted with a card which was a lovely touch. It was a little disappointing to see other tables celebrating get a candle brought out at the end of their meal and not our table but it certainly doesn't make us love the food any less.

    Hot seafood tower
    Justin J.

The most important thing to say about M&F is that - by far - it's the most expensive meal in my life. I have had fine/luxury dining all over the world. This was more expensive than any of them (excluding alcohol, I have been at places that had $2k bottles of wine but a steak was $50). So inline with my usual reviews... "price sets expectations". These were going to be crazy high expectations. The good news is, they were more than met. Staff was absolutely lovely from top to bottom. Like, say, Hall's, they took the approach of having an army of people serving with my server being their sergeant. Christian did a great job. Really loved his service! Started with the hot seafood tower (half sized), which was rather deconstructed. The highlight here is a monster 2 lb Lobster Thermidor which was sublime. Not a single bad bite here. You could legit just eat this as your meal if you were by yourself. Added caviar to it, which was fantastic. A full sized is two lobsters. For my entree I went with the 5 oz A5 Wagyu and glad I did. Pretty much defined perfection. For sides I had the creamed corn, au gratin potatoes, and the Mac and cheese. Everything was - again - sublime perfection. The Baked Alaska was a great dessert, which key lime flavor which I love. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. To match and even exceed the expectations set by the price is astonishing. At this price it is nearly inconceivable that I will be happy and yet, I was happy. Will return soon to try their fish dishes and crème brûlée! J.Ja

$34 8 oz pour of Pinot noir-very good

I enjoyed marble and fin for early drinks on a weekday afternoon. The restaurant is beautiful and I love the bar. We arrived a little after 4 and we both ordered a glass of wine. The wine list is extensive, though the prices are quite high. They didn't have any appetizers or hors d'oeuvres until 5 so we opted to stick with our wine. The service we experienced was good, and I would love to return and enjoy dinner.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a high-energy, friendly host staff that immediately made us feel welcome and set the tone for the evening. I started with the Prince Edward Island oysters on the half shell, which were fresh and excellent. My wife enjoyed the grass-fed filet mignon, while I ordered the 45-day dry-aged ribeye. Both steaks were outstanding - incredible flavor, perfectly prepared, and exceptionally tender. The experience went far beyond just the food. One of the owners, Billy, introduced himself and then personally brought over two glasses of champagne to congratulate us on our anniversary, which was a very thoughtful gesture (even though my wife doesn't drink alcohol and champagne isn't my preference). The restaurant manager also made a point to stop by and congratulate us. Our server, Aidy (pronounced "eighty"), was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable of the menu, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable throughout the evening. As is tradition at Halls, they brought out and displayed the various cuts of steak while explaining the characteristics of each - a great touch that added to the experience. We ordered the mashed potatoes and the pepper jack creamed corn skillet for sides, both excellent. Dessert was the perfect finish: vanilla crème brûlée and whiskey bread pudding. One thing that really stood out was how well orchestrated the entire restaurant operation felt. From the hosts, to the servers, to the managers and support staff, everyone worked together seamlessly to create a polished and memorable dining experience. The staff worked hard, and each person clearly knew and performed their role perfectly. It was impressive! The dining room itself had a loud, energetic vibe that added to the atmosphere of the evening and fit the overall Halls experience perfectly. Honestly, there's not much we could have asked to be better. Halls delivered an exceptional dining experience all the way around.

The Experience From the moment you sit down, the pace is noticeable--in a good way. Service is fast and efficient, with gauchos consistently rotating through the dining room offering a wide selection of fire-roasted meats. The rhythm of service keeps your plate full without feeling rushed, which is exactly what you want in a traditional Brazilian steakhouse setting. Food Quality & Selection The highlight here is undeniably the extensive variety of meats. From classic cuts like picanha to a range of seasoned beef, chicken, and pork options, there's no shortage of choices. Each cut is carved tableside and served fresh off the skewer, giving you that authentic churrascaria feel. The salad and vegetable bar is impressively large, offering everything from fresh greens and roasted vegetables to cheeses and cold cuts. It's not just filler--it's actually well-stocked and thoughtfully prepared, making it easy to balance out the heavier meat options (if you have the discipline). What Stands Out Fast, continuous service - you're never waiting long for the next cut Wide variety of meats - something for every preference Large, well-rounded salad bar - more than just an afterthought Attentive staff - consistent with what you'd expect from a high-end Brazilian steakhouse Where It Falls Short Salt level can be a bit heavy on some meats, which may not suit everyone Price point (~$85 per person) puts it firmly in the premium dining category Parking is limited, though nearby parking decks make it manageable with a short walk Final Verdict Galpão Gaucho is a solid choice for a high-end dining experience in Charleston, especially if you're going in hungry and want to indulge. While the seasoning can occasionally lean too salty and the price isn't light, the overall experience--driven by quality meats, variety, and strong service--makes it worth it for a special occasion or a serious night out. Best for: Date nights, celebrations, business dinners, or anyone wanting a true Brazilian steakhouse experience without compromise.
