We have recently decided to remodel our bathroom. We did do the diligence in looking up contractor's information in terms of proper insurance, BBB's complaints, currently licensed with the State of CA, etc. We did have a few quotes from a few reputable contractors for the project. We finally decided on Marblus Granite & Tile. Lucia, the owner, came by on a Saturday to meet with us. Her staff did all the measurements, drawings, took notes of what we envisioned for the to be bathroom. We quickly received the quote the following Monday. We were then recommended for a supplier to get all our bathroom fixtures and a name at the establishment so we can reach out directly to the salesperson. We ran into a few hiccups with the fixtures supplier but Lucia kept in touch with us the entire time. When it was time for the demolition and installation, Leo, the project manager, met with us and discussed again regarding our concerns and our wants for the bathroom (if changed from the discussion with Lucia). The day of the demolition, the crew carefully protected the walkway, cabinets, and the work area. There were a team going through the demolition and of course different specialty team for each phase of the project, i.e., slab install, plumbing, etc. Each group was professional and ready to answer our questions along the way. Leo kept popping in to check on the team and us. Leo was very easily accessible via texts and phone calls. Leo listened to our concerns and addressed them immediately with his team. We know how stressful the remodeling project can be since we just finished one; but with Leo and his team, I honestly can say I could sleep at night while the project is going full speed each day. Knowing how fearful we are of water damage, Leo and his team took extra steps and precautions to proof our bathroom. When we came across a potential issue, Leo would step in to mitigate the problem. My husband and I used Marblus in our recent remodel for all of the countertops in our home. I can't say enough good things about the experience and the final result was absolutely stunning. Lucia guided us through selecting quartzite slabs for our kitchen to match the cabinets we had selected, ensuring that they were of high quality and that the pattern in the slabs would align when the different pieces were installed. Our contractor absolutely loved the result and asked us for the name of who had crafted the island because he had another client who was interested. Lucia was equally adept at looking at our small tile and cabinet samples for our bathrooms and laundry room and choosing countertop material that complemented them. I have to say my favorite of these was the laundry room. The purply gray light veining in the countertop looked perfect with the gray cabinets we had selected. Not only was the up front process done very professionally, but the measurement, fabrication, and installation exceeded my expectations. Leo measured all of the countertop areas and made suggestions on backsplash heights and guided us through the process. We placed ourselves in his hands, and we were glad we did. His experienced eye really did make the final result shine. Rafael installed all of the countertops, as well as our kitchen island, which was quite large. He did onsite adjustments to the slabs for the waterfall island to make sure that they were level and aligned perfectly. Our experience with Marblus was wonderful. From my first contact with Lucia (owner) to the end of the project I can't think of enough good comments about the work done on our new house. We are doing a complete remodel which included two bathrooms and kitchen. I called Lucia on a Friday and she met me the next day on Saturday to help pick out the slabs at the stone warehouse. We used Brazilian Quartzite in the kitchen and Porcelain in the two bathrooms. The workmanship by Leo and crew was exceptional. Lucia worked very closely with me to pick out the exact layout of the slabs for the 8'x4' island, counter tops, backsplash and shower stalls. With the help of current technology I was able to see the exact layout of the stone work and make modifications before installation. A major remodel can be very stressful because of all the myriad choices that have to be made. Sometimes you can change your mind and worry it might be too late to make a correction. I will preface my review of Lucia and Marblus. We are hard to work with. My wife would say that I am the challenging one. I have super high expectations of folks doing work on our house. I needed to replace my natural stone kitchen countertops, and I wanted to fit the installation process into a narrow window right before Christmas. Marblus was very good about discussing and setting realistic expectations about the schedule and details of the installation process that would impact the timeline, scope, materials required, and budget for the project. They were great about cleaning up after demolition of my original countertops, as well as doing a deep clean after installation of the new countertops. They were also very thorough and careful during the installation process in order to avoid damage to any of the cabinets or appliances. Lucia was really helpful in getting our countertops and island ready and installed. I had an issue where our contractor didn't fully explain the lengths of countertop overhang possible for our island. We wanted to extend the amount of overhang to which they said was not possible without a post. While talking to Lucia she was able to point me in the correct direction as well as walk me through what I needed to do to have support within the cabinets so there would not be any posts. Anytime I had a question I was able to contact her and I can't explain how much that helped even though it wasn't her job. It's been about a month since the countertops were installed and I can say with confidence that I have not had any issues and I can tell that the they were installed and handled very well. I cannot recommend Marblus enough! I struggled to find someone who carried, cut, and installed Sapienstone porcelain. I called Lucia to inquire and received a detailed quote within one day. Her pricing was the best! I worked with a lot of people during our remodel and Lucia was one of the few who really really cared about the customer experience. Phone calls or texts you will hear back from her same day, most times even within the hour! She met with me in person to go over porcelain brands, the process of installing porcelain, took me to the shop that carried the slabs and although I was pretty set on what I wanted she walked through the entire shop with me to ensure I was confident with my choice, after her staff templated she had me come into the shop to go over her thoughts on how she was planning to cut the porcelain to ensure I would be happy with the outcome. We had set a date to install (within a week or two of first meeting) when I learned that my cabinets were damaged and we could not install porcelain for atleast another 4 weeks. She was so kind and understanding, checking in on me throughout that time, ensuring me that everything would be okay. She quickly set a date for install once we were ready and her staff were so professional, answered any questions, and did beautiful work.
