We don't eat here often but, when we do its scrumptious. Clean, friendly staff, no wait to be seated. Also portion sizes are generally large. However I was extremely disappointed with the calamari which explains why I don't visit often as that is one of my favorite appetizers. The food was 50/50. My daughter was looking for gluten free pasta and was more than pleased. This was first time eating here and we traveled 2 and half hours for one of the worst server experiences. My wife and I made our first visit to Marcella's in June of 2024. The food was outstanding. We had Chicken Parmesan, Tortellini, Roasted Garlic Bread, Caesar Salad, and Chocolate Almond Cake. The prices were as expected: not cheap, but not outrageous. Because it was celebrating our anniversary, they comped our dessert. OUR SERVER, Mika, WAS AMAZING! She was beyond amazing. I came here with my friends on Thursday at around 1PM. The restaurant was nice and clean with great vibes. It wasn't busy and we got a table right away. My friends and I were greeted immediately with a super nice waitress. Unfortunately cannot remember her name but she had really cool and fun jewelry. We had complimentary bread at all times. I ordered the lunch combo with half chicken parm panini and tomato basil soup. It was 12.99 for this combo. The panini was delicious, the bread was crispy and the chicken parm was delicious, juicy, and crispy with great flavors. The tomato basil soup was very very flavorful and comes in a fun container. With the complimentary bread the soup was perfect. It was delicious worth it! The "you pick 2" combo from Panera is even more expensive than this! I would definitely come back! read more

My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our 1 year anniversary! This is where we went on our first date! When we first arrived, I felt like the vibe was off like the hostesses were not super friendly like just okay so my expectations were low. We get sat and our server was immediately attentive and asked us if we were there for a special occasion. I told her we were celebrating our one year and she was so happy for us. I hate to leave a bad review...but this was ridiculous. We waited an hour for our pick up order (which gets scheduled for a certain time!). When it finally came out, there was zero acknowledgment of the wait time. Just "here ya go". The food was all cold so we raised a concern. The manager half heartedly offered to remake the food, but again, no apology or anything. We literally watched two tables get seated, eat their meal, and leave in the time we were waiting. The remade food took another 30 min, was still not warm, and honestly, I'm not convinced it was actually remade. The food ultimately was pretty good (pasta was pretty salty) but again, everything was cold. This was an extremely disappointing experience. read more

Super fun. Date night is Friday night for us and we rotate to diff restaurants. Garlic Bread with cheese. Cocktails. Fettuccine with one HUGE meatball and a lasagna was just delightful. So good! Our service was spectacular. Neil was awesome. Very friendly and very personable. He was efficient on point with timing and spacing out our meal. Marcella's is very COVID conscience. They are mindful they are professional and it was a really good night out. We come here every year for Valentine's Day and just came for our anniversary. Our server Ali was super sweet- wrote us a card and offered us a free dessert to take home, which even had a chocolate disc that said "Happy Anniversary" on it. Our service here has always been exceptional, and Ali was very attentive and kind to us. The food was delicious- our favorites are the calamari, which is always so delicate, and the garlic bruschetta. I really enjoyed our experience and food tonight at Marcella's. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. The service was great. Our server Vanessa was very attentive and friendly. When she heard it was our anniversary she decorated a card and they gave us dessert for free. Now, the food. We had the arrancini appetizer and it was delicious. My husband had the sausage pizza and I had the linguini with clams. The serving sizes were good and this was the best linguini with clams I have had. Marcella's at polaris is a must try, here is why Fresh italian chef level dishes and gives you this authentic feel in the food(now please dont debate that if i know my italian really well, but i can distinguish basic v/s something different). I liked how the overall inside is of this restaurant, it is not filled with these booths but like middle of the floor plan tables. And it feels very family-ish at the same time you are sitting in this fine dine private spot. It is a mix of both. Loveee their outdoor patio, it's such a nice vibe on a Sunday afternoon with the sun out and a little breeze. I would definitely recommend the cheesy bread but honestly I wasn't that thrilled about anything else. Our calamari was undercooked which as you can imagine is a bit like chewing rubber. The salmon and chicken parmigiana were just okay, they both lacked actual seasoning and really just tasted like salt and butter. I have been here a twice, and have had a great meal each time. This is the type of restaurant were you can go on an intimate date or as a family meal; multifaceted. I am not a huge Italian food person (I actually like Olive Garden ), but did enjoy my meals - even when being lower carb. I have dined on creamy tomato basil soup, Marcella's chopped salad, caprese, and Sunday salad (which is served with a HUGE meatball). I am not a fan of veal, so the meatball was my least favorite of the chosen meals, but my husband really liked it. My favorite was the tomato soup followed by the chopped salad. The soup was a beautiful balance of tomatoes, cream, while not being too acidic; the basil drizzle is the perfect topper. I would stay away from the caprese; while it was good, the size doesn't match the price - and there's nothing that sets it apart from what I can make at home. read more

Their Food is always good! However if you order online for carry out you may run into a problem. The last time I ordered online, they totally did not check their system to see there was an order. When I go to the restaurant to pick up my order at the time they said it would be ready they totally had no idea what I was talking about at the front desk. They went back to the kitchen to discuss it with the staff and then came back and told me it would be ready in a couple of minutes as they were getting it ready. 2 minutes turned into a 20 minute wait. They apologized and it was only after I asked to speak with the manager about it, that he felt compelled to give me a $15 gift card. I love Marcella's good, the customer service I'm still on the fence about. But I plan to visit again in the future as long as they can keep up with their orders. read more

Loved the pecorino cheese with flatbread, honey, and apple appetizer. My penne alla vodka was al dente and very flavorful with mushrooms, tomatoes, chili flakes, and parmesan cheese. I was expecting a Cameron Mitchell's experience and felt it was on par with Olive Garden which we do not frequent. So no we won't be back. The service was fine, the calamari tasted okay but the ratio of actual calamari to peppers and zucchini was basically 10% calamari. The arancini was just okay as well. My wife liked her potato pizza which should be described as potato chip pizza. Son liked his chicken fingers and my daughter's filet mignon was nothing to write home about. I had the eggplant parm and it was okay, again nothing special. Most disappointing though was we used a gift card which I would have much rather used at a nicer Cameron Mitchell's restaurant. We were also celebrating my wife's bday and they kindly offered us free dessert, but based on the menu we passed. Not sure I can ever say we've done that before. Lol. Service was a little slow but we were with a larger party so we expected a few delays plus everywhere we go nowadays has delays. I ordered the burrata app and it was awesome. It comes with bread and a side of marinara/ tomatoes which I liked as much as the burrata. I don't know many places where you can order burrata so this was a nice surprise. For my entre I ordered the eggplant parmesan. It was cooked perfectly and comes with a side of spaghetti with sauce. The noodles and sauce were hearty and flavorful I couldn't stop enjoying them. I was with a party of seven and I heard no complaints. A couple of folks with my party enjoyed some of the craft cocktails and could not stop talking about how well they were made. I've never been to Marcella's before and we had a gift card for a Cameron Mitchel Restaurant and Marcella's is part of that crew. So over the weekend came here for dinner and honestly everything was perfect. We walked in and were seated immediately, our server was really efficient about serving us water first and then checking if we want any other beverages. We started off with the Arancini $10.99) which are fried risotto and mozzarella balls and served with marinara on the side to dip into. These were a good start until the arrival of even better rest of the meal. The Chicken Marsala ($19.99) was AMAZING! The seared chicken was very well complicated by the carrots and mushrooms, and the marsala was abundant. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Parmesan ($19.99) and the chicken literally took up the entire plate, and the linguini looked like it was served on the side. It was huge! I tried a bite and can confirm it was delicious. The linguini especially, their pasta is no joke. For dessert, I asked for the waiters recommendation and he suggested I try the Cherry Crustada $7.99). I think the description could've been a bit more descriptive on the menu. I wasn't exactly sure what it was but I'll go with the waiter on this one. He did not disappoint. It was pretty much like a cherry tart with ice cream on top of it with almonds. It was big enough to split, but I couldn't finish it, way too full. Would definitely be back next time I'm craving some carbs. read more

Lasagne all around because of this guy's claims that Marcella's has THE BEST lasagne in the world. He was videotaped in Milan, Italy making this claim. And yes, the sausage lasagne was delish. Fabulous cocktails during happy hour ( half price) and a smooth affogato for dessert. We drove down from Cleveland to meet my college roommate and it was worth the trip!
