This place is very clean and has a lot of machines but that was about the only thing I enjoyed. They require you to buy a refillable laundry card even if you're only passing through. I travel and only visit each laundry mat once. The card was $2.00 and the woman working there forced you to know exactly how much you wanted to put on the card in that moment. It seemed like a lot of effort to put a bit more money on the card on your own if needed. The door also locks behind you every time you leave and you have to ring the doorbell and wait outside for someone to open the door. Overall, it was just a stressful and uncomfortable experience as I felt like my every move was being monitored. I like to get work done on my computer while the laundry runs and they seemed reluctant to give me the wifi password and watched my computer as I worked. read more

I've used Marco Polo 3 times now to launder king sized bedding. They use the soap I like that has no fragrance. They open at 12 so you just show up, ring the bell and drop off items and pay. They text when it's ready. My only issue is timing. I've dropped off an item at 12 and it's been over 24 hours before I get a text. read more

It's the right thing to share the info so here goes; This is *by far* the best Laundromat, and the best cleaners I've ever used - I'm 60, so that's saying something. The place sparkles - the floors, machines, even the bathroom is perfect. There's a card system that patrons use to operate the machines, unlock the bathroom, and pay for snacks from the vending machines. I've used them for the cleaning service too. Everything was fresh and clean, smelled nice, was perfectly folded and even separated into types (in a way that was very intuitive). If a question or issue arises, no problem, it's staffed by one or both of the owners - and they're *very nice people!* I'm spoiled - I'll have a hard time justifying going anywhere else. read more

BEWARE of this establishment the owner is very rude and confrontational. I arrived to do my laundry and put $50 on my membership card I loaded 5 washers $27.50 leaving a balance of $22.50 and ran out of laundry soap I had left for 5 minutes to get laundry soap from my home 2 blocks away. I had purposely left my membership card fabric softener the empty bottle of soap at the washer with my clothes in the basket next to the washer I was going to use next when I returned my card was missing. I asked the owner if she may have seen or graded my card for me she responded very rudely not my problem and she's not my mother very. As you can imagine I was shocked to say the least by her response. I asked if she could help me locate the card her response was not my problem I'm busy and walked away. I explained that I was a pattern her before she was here been doing laundry here for 18 years and never had any treatment like this. Her response was I don't care I'm busy and don't have time for you. I had asked a few more times for her help with locating my card maybe look this up in her system she was not willing to help and told me to get my wet clothes out a leave. Before I left the owner said she will refund my money and finally went to the machine to look up my membership and said there was $7.50 on the card. I told her this is incorrect I loaded $50 and only used $27.50 were is the remailing balance of $22.50 she responded not my problem, I then said obviously someone stole my card does that concern you she responded NO again not my problem This is a Very unprofessional business to treat there customers disrespectfully. I have been doing my laundry here for about over a year now pre-pandemic, staff is friendly & nice overall, and bilingual which is a plus. Everyone here including the people that come to do their laundry normally keep to themselves. So its a very chill environment overall. I haven't gotten anywhere else to do my laundry based on 4 things : cleanliness of facility, the welcoming environment/ staff ; the wi-fi and after a couple washes you get like a $5 bonus added to your membership card for your laundry. Couple things to consider: You do need a "membership" which is a balance card to enter and exit the laundromat. Anyone is welcome but you do need that, and it's only card or cash bills based to reload so no coins accepted. Face max required regardless of vaccination status [their right due to being a private owned business] And their last wash is at 7:45pm. I walk up and see that I need to have a card with them (membership) which is kinda stupid itself....I didn't know I needed one until a worker came out and I asked them about how I could wash there and get a membership with them she proceeded to answer rudely and very blunt. Show up and do my laundry, I've always drove way further than where I live because I love this laundromat. I came today and told the lady I had a card and lost it though and the lady said I couldn't wash because there was no guest cards available?? This makes no sense! Wouldn't you want more customers?? More customers = more money for the business. Not only did she say I'd have to wait until a guest card was available she was lowkey rude and when I'd say when I buy my quarters in the machine she'd say we don't use quarters here, which I know it's a card, again I've always come here and know. I stopped by yesterday and rang the Ring doorbell for entrance. The woman who answered seemed quite annoyed. She first asked if I was dropping off laundry (I guess you don't need a membership for that). I apologized for ringing the doorbell, because when I looked inside I saw a wide open back door, which I thought was an entrance. Perhaps there was parking in the rear that I missed. She condescendingly said there is no parking in the back (I guess ignore the large sign out front that says parking int he rear). So you have what..... 3 parking spaces in the front. Wow. When I said I wasn't dropping off, but wanted to use the machines, she asked to see my card, which I was confused by. Apparently this is a MEMBERS ONLY Laundromat. For people who don't have the luxury of having in-unit washer/dryers in the Bay Area, you want to then exclude people by having it be members only. This was the closest laundromat to me. We're a small private healthcare clinic in San Jose, CA and I didn't want to go with a commercial company who rents out their sheets/towels/etc. since we've invested in our own sheets/towels/etc. over the years. We recently moved to a new clinic and no longer have laundry-service in-house. I am so glad I contacted Marco and got everything setup and it's been a breeze. Super clean and modern laundromat! They have a great selection of washer and dryer sizes and plenty of table space for folding. There's a decent amount of seating on the perimeter of the room, too. Parking might be tight depending on the business next to it or the amount of people doing laundry, so be aware of that. The machines here run off refillable paycards that are available to get on the wall adjacent to the entrance. The employee here was super friendly and helped me fill out everything to redeem it. It was very simple and easy to follow. There's lots of outlets, two tv screens, and it's very well lit. I was doing my laundry just like any other day when suddenly I hear the manager give me attitude about my shoes. I swear they were not muddy but she said that I needed to change my shoes because her floor was getting dirty. I asked her for booties and she didn't have any so I felt uncomfortable even taking another step so I had no option but to leave without drying my clothes. I think that's really messed up. I'm now a laundromat snob after my visit here. The whole place was CLEAN, including all the machines and all were in good working order. CLEAN, working laundry carts were constantly available which was a big help with all the laundry I needed to do. They have quite a few bigger washing machines and I was able to get 23 bags of laundry done in just a few hours without spending a ridiculous amount of money. All the machines take laundry card only which is available and you can add money very easily. I made a mess putting laundry in the machines and before I was done the workers were already cleaning it. I felt bad but damn these workers are ON IT. They arent just sitting around, if they aren't folding laundry, they're helping customers, or cleaning EVERYTHING. The machines are kept in top clean shape inside and out, and they definitely made me feel like they took COVID guidelines seriously throughout the whole place. The only thing that I didn't like was the locking of the front door so you'd have to ring and have someone let you in. HOWEVER, this was absolutely understandable and I never felt like I was bothering them at all they were friendly every time I needed it opened. Again, this is done for what I assume is a safety reason because of the location. It is not a bad area, it's just in close proximity to places that shady characters seem to congregate. I would not worry about it not being safe by any means. Overall, this laundromat is worth checking out. No more broken disgusting machines and wasted money! read more

I came here today for the first time since the change of ownership to get my laundry done and the first thing I saw on the door was "registered members only" and was confused on what to do. As I sat in my car looking at the sign I noticed it had "how to become a registered member". Ring the bell, got to meet the wonderful owner, Beatriz, who showed me around and walked me through the process of getting a Marco Polo laundry card to use. It was very simple and she was so very nice. I had some trouble using the vending machine for detergent and found out that even the patrons here are so pleasant, one of them noticed me having trouble and helped me out. I'm so happy to have stopped in. The remodel is too cute! There's greenery and foliage around to add a welcoming vibe to the place, makes you forget that you're here to do laundry. I needed to do everyone's laundry fast, I'm talking 15 loads. Feeling unsafe at other areas, I yelped Marco Polo and to my surprise they are so humble and clean! Although the door remains locked, it truly makes you feel safe and secured. I walked in and out about 5 times to grab more clothes and the manager was kind and didn't mind reopening the door for me which was a blessing. Best of all, I was done within 3 hours. Machines are fast and everything is sanitized. There's rags for spills and vending snacks. Although it's a bit of a drive from my area, I will continue to return. I traveled across town looking for a good laundromat and found this place. The laundromat operates on a card system. Parking is in the front, but additional parking is located in the back on weekends. In order to enter the laundromat or use the restroom you have to have a card. So if your new to this spot you may want to go into the laundromat from the front entrance in order to get situated. I like this for safety reasons. The initial price for the card is 5 dollars, but the nice thing about this is once you're in the system they can look up your info in case your card gets lost. The only place i go to do laundry! I have been here twice and its 10 minutes away from my home. The first visit the owner/lady knew we were new right away and showed us how to do everything. Their hours are not updated online so I've gone twice and they were closed! When I was finally able to come inside I was rudely approached by a worker (Asian woman) who told me to take my "dirty shoes off the carts" as I put my legs up to rest since I'm 8 months pregnant! The Equinox of laundromats. Super clean, modern place with great customer service. It was my first time using the machines at a laundromat, and the owner was extremely helpful. She gave me a quick tour of the place, helped guide me through the whole process of how to load money onto the laundry card, and patiently answered all my questions. My family and I have been coming to this Laundromat since Marco Polo opened, but recently decided not to continue to support this business because we have seen how progressively they have been prioritizing their convenience over their customers needs. First, they close the back parking to the public, which limited the amount of customer coming in. To top it off, they recently changed their hours opened to the public starting at 12 Noon because they prioritized their commercial accounts. This was very inconvenient for my family (and other families/people) as we have to now adapt to their new schedule.
