I have been a customer more than 30 years and I am disappointed with the service on a 10 week old electric stove I just bought from them when I called the store for help. Part of the stove door cracked and when I tried to explain the problem the manager cut me off and said to me "You broke it." But he has not even seen the broken stove. Then he went on to explain that the manufacturer, Whirlpool, would not cover the repair under warranty. But I didn't break it. It really is a manufacturing defect or a design defect in my opinion as a retired professional engineer who has evaluated many electrical equipment problems. The manager offered to send his service man at my cost, but I found out that they are not a certified service shop for Whirlpool. I smelled rotten fish at this point and called for Whirlpool service, who were responsive. My experience and opinion is that this store wants to charge for their service when its free from the manufacturer and they do not help the customer with legitimate warranty service. Shaul's blames the customer without even looking at the problem. Not good at all.

The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful and said they would call when repairs were completed. When called a week or so later, I picked up my cleaner and was told the problem was with the cord... that it had been fixed and a new filter had also been installed. The cost was around $200. I didn't have a problem with that, all things considered. When I got home and plugged the vacuum in, it ran for about five minutes, then quit, so I returned to A to Z to see what was going on. Left the machine for a second time, they called in a few days and said the problem had been resolved and that there would be no charge this time around. Picked up the cleaner, got home, plugged it in, and this time it ran for about a minute before it quit. I was so frustrated with this experience, I decided to just give up on them as a repair service. I did not take the cleaner back. They are great when it comes to selling a wonderful product, but repairs do not seem to be their specialty. After searching elsewhere for a repair service, I found none. This past week, the cleaner was disposed of as recyclable. What a shame. I am so disappointed with A to Z. I will not be a returning customer.
