It had roasted chicken, baby spinach, fresh roma tomatoes, oregano, sesame seeds, virgin olive oil, mozzarella & feta cheese. And a Meat & Cheese deluxe...the name says it all. Both were fantastic! It's 2 pm there are still 3 tables that have been ignored. I asked a young lady who was glued to her phone if she worked there, she did but told me she wasn't clocked in. I suggested to find someone to finish cleaning the other tables. No one wants to dine in a dirty environment; neither do they want to see workers glued to their phones or standing around talking. Neither had sauce inside, so thankfully we'd ordered extra. That turned out to be the best decision of the night because the pizza sauce was fantastic--honestly some of the best we've had in a long time. The meatballs and mozzarella tasted fresh, but my husband said the sausage reminded him of mall pizza. I was going to say Sbarro's, but I didn't want to lose the younger crowd. Ironically, the plain cheese pizza was the winner. Our 14-year-old declared it "really good," which, if you have teenagers, you know is basically a Michelin star. I called this location ( Beach Street in Ft Worth) literally minutes before closing time. We were hoping they had some pizzas still available and I also wanted to confirm what time they actually closed. The person who answered, Ryland, was more than helpful. Even though he stated they were about to close in 8 minutes, he let me place an order over the phone and told me he'd have it ready when I got there. It's rare to call a place just before they close and expect them to offer to make you whatever it is that you want, knowing it could mean they have to re-clean something or worse, stay later. He could have just told me "sorry, we've already shut everything down" and refuse to take the phone order since technically it was just minutes before they closed. Instead Ryland was professional and polite, and let me place my order (which included pizzas, breadsticks, etc). I got there right at closing and Ryland was just finishing boxing up my orders. I thanked him for staying and for feeding my family tonight so that I didn't have to! A apologized for his having to re- clean stuff and he told me that it was no problem. He got frustrated as I calmly talked to him. Hopefully calls are recorded. He said I can't deal with this and as he handed the phone over to the manager he said he couldn't deal with my screaming. I wasn't and calmly tried to explain the situation. The managers words were come back. I said ma'am I'm already on the freeway. She said well there's nothing I can do.
