I dined here for a family members birthday. It was a Saturday night. The space is large and well lit. Music playing but not so loud you can't hear the people at your table which is nice and they have several TVs playing various programs. The service was great! We had a couple people help us for different things. They were both so nice. Our food came out pretty quickly as well. The food itself I found to be just ok. I had the rockin shrimp plate with rice (forgot to snap a photo). Everything was prepared well and I thought portions were good. My complaint was the sauce/seasoning. It was over powering and salty. I'm still tasting it the next day after brushing my teeth twice and having other food. I'd go back for the service but not sure I would because of the food itself. read more

Didn't even want the left over food, we left it on the table. Food came out in plastic bags with no plates or trays to contain the oily mess. Gratuity was added in for us, with no options for tip amount. Service was horrible. They would not split our tabs for us. We will not be returning ever. The atmosphere was very normal, not super packed but not empty. The food itself was pretty good but the flavor on the sauce is just missing something. Was hoping to get a spicy sauce this time with Level 4, but it was still sweet and not spicy at all which was disappointing. After a while of eating I did get sick of the flavor so definitely get something to drink, the Strawberry Lemonade was good to cleanse the pallet. The decor is sports bar meets tuna boat captain on his way to karaoke. The food seems to be part Cajun, part Thai. There's some fusion happening here that has the potential to be interesting. What we had: Pot stickers. Good flavor, but safe. The dipping sauce was a little anemic, but didn't hurt. Rockin' Shrimp plate. Spicy, but not hot. Intense flavor, but the spice coating was a little gritty. Lots of shrimp. Little else. That's not a bad thing. The overall flavor was pleasantly different. There are a ton of crab locations around the metro, but this is our spot. I've been here at least 10x, and the difference is in them remembering us. The food is always good, and we enjoy it for family meals and even "special" occasions. We celebrated my daughter's liverversary and brother's birthday here (same day). I absolutely love this place. Cajun style bags of seafood, what's not to love? They've got a bunch of options, 3 kinds of crab, lobster, crawfish, shrimp, etc. there's also combos where I think you can save a bit by bundling it all together. It's all delicious. There's several heat options I think it goes 1-5. I wanna be clear, it is MESSY, but you're provided with gloves and a bib, both of which you need for 80% of the menu. I was here a while back...and posted a review that wasn't exactly favorable. They had my review removed because it didn't give enough "detail". I stated they are trying unsuccessfully to imitate the Crab Pot in Seattle. So I'll give more detail-the food comes drowned in bag of overly seasoned oil. The lack of flavor from the ingredients is over killed by the overwhelming amount seasoning in the oil. The flavors were not good. The food doesn't retain heat for long and all in all it was a lackluster experience. I actually made the trip up to Seattle to satisfy my craving for a good crab meal. I Joe there is enough detail in this review. Having negative reviews removed because your product is subpar is not an appropriate way to do business. Just put out a better product! read more

I am in the service industry and although food was great, I would never return to this location... We went here for my sister's birthday. This was our first time here. We got the seafood mini pot and beef pot. An order of Japanese miso pot and a honey chicken bowl. All the bowls came with either an order of vermicelli or rice. The honey chicken bowl was quite delicious. It came with an order of rice. Eachpot came with napa and corn and mushrooms. It was pretty good. Probably better in winter months versus 95 degrees weather. The seafood pot was good. Just need to wait until the fire simmer down a bit on the hot pot. My seafood pot had 3 big shrimp in shell, 2 calamari, 1 small clam, and 2 mussels. 1 stuffed fishball which was very tasty. A very low-key restaurant. Atmosphere was very nice. read more

The food was really good but let me tell you the MUSIC THROWS OFF EVERYTHING! If I had to guess what the title of the playlist playing was it would be "Teen Girly Pop". I bring this up for two reasons. The first was that the music was really quiet which made it VERY awkward in the restaurant. People were too scared to talk loud and have their conversations heard over the music so the entire restaurant was nearly dead silent. The second factor is that this music did not fit with the genre of the restaurant at all. This is a Cajun place so I would imagine something more upbeat like Cajun music, Rock, Upbeat jazz, etc, (Something Southern). Anyways, the service was good, the restaurant was clean, food was tasty! Omg that Cajun seasoning blend was sooo good and they use real garlic chunks in their garlic butter! Cocktails could have been better but you don't go there for drinks you go for seafood and that was chef's kiss. But because of the music and atmosphere, unfortunately, I would only recommend taking your food to go. Hopefully they play more appropriate music and make things a bit livelier in there! read more

2 friends and i went to rockin crab around 6:30 on friday, a couple other people inside but definitely was a little quiet. i'm not sure if i'm just that loud, or the music truly was way too quiet, but i was talking about it with my friends and a little later i noticed it was turned up a little which was super appreciated!! we sat down and ordered our one pound shrimp bags, the server let us know the sauce is more sweet than spicy. we also ordered the cream cheese wontons (which were amazing 10/10 !!) and cajun fries which were good. we're visiting from LA, and i've had lots of seafood boil. the sauce does kind of need one bite for you to adjust but it's soo good actually. i've never left a seafood boil restaurant so satisfied !! servers were attentive, we got gloves and aprons to stay clean, and over all it was an amazing experience would love to return if i lived here you guys are so lucky read more

I really liked the chili oil that they use for the seafood boils it pairs great with rice. We got the curry hotpot and the mussels and shrimp. The medium is a good level of spice for the shrimp and mussles.I wouldn't say that it was very spicy, which is good because my Mom can't stand a lot of heat. The shrimp were extremely small and the quality tasted like your average grocery store frozen shrimp. Sausage was just in huge cuts instead of being sliced. Sauce is pretty mediocre.
