This is the 3rd Margarita Factory location that we've been to and we really liked this one. The staff was friendly. Food was served hot and flavorful. Chips and salsa are both good. Drinks were yummy and The restaurant itself is nice and clean. We ordered the chicken fajitas and the tres compadres. Both were very flavorful, cooked well, served hot and arrived at our table in a timely manner. We also ordered a starter of tortilla soup that was very good too. We had a bigger group of 7 people but it didn't seem to hold up our orders at all. This is a location that we would come back to and bring friends and family. We did make a reservation since it was a busy Friday night. There were several large groups and birthday celebrations happening that night so I would highly recommend making reservations. read more

The vibe was refreshing. Staff was amazing! Happy hour drinks were tasty and strong. Excellent bartender! Salsa was soupy but flavorful. I added some pico de gallo to mine for chunks. Well, I tried it again. Big mistake. My family of three dined here last night. We ordered three entrees. One side of guacamole. Two margaritas. We didn't order anything fancy. The margaritas were special priced for national margarita day. This cost us $130.00 for a family of three!!!!! Before tip!!!! The food is fine. Not great. Not bad. Just fine. You could get this quality of food from any other restaurant for HALF the price. When seated we had to beg for napkins. Then we had to wait for utensils AFTER our food was delivered. Our hostess never checked on us after our food was delivered. The atmosphere is nice. But who cares because their prices are OUTRAGEOUS. Save your money and go to a much better Mexican Restaurant in West Linn off tenth street. A true tequila bar. I have no problem dropping coin on a great meal. I'll spend hundreds at a great steak house. The Margarita Factory is a price gouging joke. Oh yeah, they peddle Clasa Azul and Don Pedro like it's the kings of Tequila. Not so. That hooch is for folks how don't know what good tequila is but want to post on social media that they drank it... Never going back. Hope you won't either. read more

Our server was amazing, and so attentive! He checked in on us frequently, and made sure we didn't feel pressured to order. Food was great, and came out hot too. The carne asada is always delicious! We will always choose Margarita factory for our go to when we want carne asada fajitas! Also, Piña colada was delicious too. read more

This building in downtown gresham has been home to several restaurants over the years so we were a bit skeptical about it. But, we had heard good things from friends so we thought we would give it a try. The decor and atmosphere is great. Family friendly but I could totally see it being a spot for 20-somethings at night. The menu had a lot of selections and everything looked great. Our son got a kids burrito which he really liked. My wife got the enchilada suiza with chicken. She liked it but felt that they skimped on the salsa Verde and it wasn't quite as good as a different Mexican restaurant we like also. I got street tacos with fish and carnitas. I could have saved half my plate because it came with 4 tacos and rice and beans. I couldn't not get a margarita at the margarita factory so I went with a blended strawberry. I got the small and was shocked at how big it was when it came. Definitely don't get anything bigger than a small if you're drinking it alone and you're driving. All in all, it was a really good experience and we will be back! read more

My team from work came here for a multi birthday celebration. It was ABSOLUTELY delicious! They have so many options for margaritas. I got the margarita boat which has 4 margaritas that you can choose the flavor. The strawberry one was delicious! For food I got the street tacos. I got 2 fish and 2 steak. It came with rice and beans. I'm not sure what my manager and her husband shared but it looked fantastic. I did try the season pork and the asada from it. SSOOO good! It has large seating areas for groups ( we were a group of 7) I love the plant wall by the bathroom! read more

The restaurant was awesome when they opened, they must have changed hands! Four of us went to the 82nd Margherita Factory and all of us had the worst experience. We ordered drinks and our 17$ drinks were in plasic I ordered the seafood burritos, OMG! The stench from the spoiled seafood! Both of our men ordered the same thing, some chicken and cheese rice dish, the two of them couldn't find but maybe a small amount of chicken and there was so much cheese that the dish looked like a huge piece of gum, there was no flavor. My friend had steak bites and she could hardly cut into it, it was way over cooked. We tried to get a hold of the help but they were super busy, in which I could not understand. We spent well over 200$ with having 2 drinks a piece, that sucked so bad! We always end up at the Oswego Grill just to be safe, lol! read more

Food here was good but not great. Huge portions that could feed multiple people but it seems as though what you get doesn't match the item description on the menu so be sure to check that your order is really all there. My fiancé and I shared the combo fajitas and were a bit disappointed at the meat to vegetable ratio. You basically get a heaping serving of onions with a few peppers and meat scattered amongst it. We also noticed that we didn't receive the guacamole and queso that was supposed to come with it. Also 3 tortillas to share fajitas for two? Come on now. On the flip side, HUGE margaritas! And tasty too! I ordered a small and it had to have been 24 oz. I love how many unique options they have for the margaritas as well. I ordered the prickly pear and it did not disappoint. Jorge and Betty, along with Edgar's parents Jose and Maria Castro, began their career in Guadalajara, an international destination for Mexican cuisine. The base of every Margarita Factory recipe comes from Jose, who Jorge credits as being the greatest influence on his restaurants. Although his parents have formally stepped down from the business, Jose still comes in to cook several hours a day, and both parents are always ready to step up and pitch in when needed. The Margarita Factory restaurants were built on a foundation of faith and family, as well as an enduring drive to overcome adversity. Edgar Castro, Jorge and Betty's brother, battled cancer, and as soon as he felt well enough, he was back to work managing the Mill Plain Margarita Factory -- this time with even more drive, determination, and passion.

If you ever in your life liked New England clam chowder, get yourself on over to Captain's Galley for theirs. I've had New England clam chowder many times in New England and this is so much better! It comes with oyster crackers. This clam chowder is fresh enough that it can survive 2 days in the refrigerator and still be delicious.

As a child I was saw the world with so much wonder and awe, the world was such a big place, there were so many mysteries to be carefully analyzed and solved. After a long day of exploration and expanding one's mind I was always hungry and would come home to fresh, home cooked meals courtesy of my mother. It was the feeling of "wholeness" in her food that stuck in my mind for years to come, as no fast food ever had that fulfilling feel to it when consumed. After coming to Mojave, which ironically was a recommendation from my mother, I was at a loss of words. They may be somewhat pricey, but sweet baby jesus, that GUACAMOLE. I am not a man of God but DAMN this guacamole must have been crafted by none other than Zeus himself! It wasn't nearly as chunky as the picture on the menu made it seem, however, the textures and flavors of the guacamole made up for that and more. The service was pretty good, but in all honesty, I came for the food not the service. On another note, there were a few people in the bar who smelled strongly of "herbs" and I think its great that Mojave accepts it with the new recreational laws coming in June. What a great example of a mighty fine business. I'm not a yelper who gives out 5 star reviews easily and It was not in my plans to come here, it was suggested to me by a friend. First impression was the layout and how it flowed, and how every seat had some king of privacy in mind when organizing. Most small places just want to cram people together, which can feel a bit uncomfortable and thus shortens ones stay. I could tell that a lot of thought went into every detail in this restaurant. Even the bar seats are very comfortable. I was there for happy hour and it was pretty busy, but we didn't feel rushed to order. I have mixed feelings about this establishment but our server Angelissa was absolutely incredible! My partner has quite a bit of allergy restrictions and Angelissa was able to help us find the best meal for my partner to enjoy and didn't seem irritated at all our questions. Went in to celebrate a friends birthday. It was on a Saturday at 4:30pm. We wanted a reservation for 8. Because they had so many reservations already they wouldn't let us make one. Thus the 4 stars. The server was nice, pretty prompt, good at keeping the iced tea full and the drinks coming to the table. The food was excellent, though next time I'll get the jalapeños on the side as there were more than I would've liked. They got a couple other food orders mixed up, but everyone seemed happy. There is absolutely no dish in your entire life that could prepare you for the Chunky Guacamole at Mojaves Grill & Cantina, the guacamole had a fresh, lemony taste and had the most perfect texture to it. My wife and I continue to return to Mojave. We have gone in for lunch, dinner, happy hour or just to enjoy a sporting event. On many occasions, we invite others to join us. She loves the chips, salsa and chunky guacamole while waiting for our food. The generous portions are always more than enough. The staff has always taken very good care of us. When you order Taco's there you get charged for the condiments. For a Large Cadillac Margarita I don't care what it cost but put the Grand Marne in it please. I shouldn't have to ask twice for it. The bill for two people to eat and a couple of cocktails is 90.00. But I had to pay extra for sour cream. REALLY. I will go back but I wont pay for condiments again that is for sure. read more

Both were delicious! The relleno was served with rice pilaf with mixed vegetable, he said he didn't care too much for that. I only ate only one of my empanada, because I was filling up with my chips & enjoying my salsa, but I wasn't really hungry. I took the rest home, for later. I love the sauce! I told Adriana, and she said: Oh! You didn't want that? I tried to tell her: I'd like it to go. (I have a feeling we're having problem communicating, she's very nice, though). The service: We were talked to by 4-5 different servers who asked us how we were doing. One: I asked if I could have mild salsa sauce, and she said: No, those were the choices they all have. A few minutes later, I asked a bus boy, but he asked someone else (who spoke English), and he - Alexander - he delivered a warm salsa to our table. He came back again, to ask how it was. We had a lot of trouble eating them. The waitress said afterwards that we could have ordered them shell off, but she should have given us that option when we ordered. It came with a small salad with vinaigrette, pineapple and beet on lettuce. It was nice. The experience was a near miss, but we'll try it again.

Before I even had a chance to eat them, I stepped away to wash my hands. On my way back to the table, our waitress stopped me and asked if everything was okay at the table. I initially thought she was simply checking on our experience. Instead, she told me she remembered me, accused me of leaving the one-star review from April, and proceeded to tell me how that review had hurt her bartenders. I was completely caught off guard. I did not write the review, but beyond that, I could not understand why I was being confronted about a months-old review while returning as a paying customer and trying to enjoy dinner. I felt cornered and attacked, and I genuinely didn't know what she expected from that conversation. When I had enough, I told her I was done discussing it and returned to my table. That should have been the end of it. Instead, she followed me back to our table and continued the confrontation in front of my husband and our friends. The situation escalated to her berating and yelling at our entire party. Our tabs were closed, and we left. I understand that negative reviews can be upsetting to restaurant employees, and I understand there are two sides to every customer-service issue. But customers should be able to share an honest experience without worrying that they--or someone associated with them--will be confronted about it months later when they return. What is especially disappointing is that we came back. We didn't write this restaurant off after one bad visit. After years of supporting a local business, we gave it another chance. And ironically, the nachos looked great this time. There a million ways this could have and should have been handled differently and would have had a very different outcome. The simplest would have been if our waitress simply said, "I remember you had an issue with the nachos last time and I want to make sure we got them right tonight," I would have appreciated it. That would have been a great way to turn a previous bad experience into a positive one. Instead, I was confronted/attacked about a review I didn't write. And when I clearly ended the conversation and walked away, I was followed back to my table where the confrontation continued and escalated to our entire party. That crossed a line for me. We went in hoping to give a longtime local favorite another chance. We left feeling targeted, embarrassed, and unwelcome. After supporting this restaurant for years, I never imagined this would be the experience that might ultimately keep us from coming back.
