Good place, it was clean and well lit with a good look to it, the service was very good, they were helpful and attentive. The food was very good, we started with La Viagra, which was a Ceviche, not bad but I've had better. That was followed by the Steak Fajitas and a Pollo Avocado. They were very good, the steak was juicy and properly cooked, and the chicken had a great taste and it wasn't overcooked. We enjoyed the he experience.

Taco menu given to us when we asked, not on table originally

I've always loved Margarita's Café, but my recent visit to the Wantagh location was really disappointing. Online (see screenshot below), they clearly advertised Unlimited Tacos for $21.95 AND House Margaritas for only $2.95 for Taco Day. That's exactly why we decided to go. When we arrived, we ordered the $2 drinks but didn't get a special menu. When I asked about the all-you-can-eat tacos, the waitress told us we couldn't combine offers -- even though the post online specifically mentioned both deals together. I politely explained that the promotion didn't mention any restrictions, and that this was the reason we came. Instead of helping, she said she could charge us full price for the margaritas and then give us the taco deal. We told her we needed a minute to think, but she never came back. We saw her serving other tables, and after an hour, a different server came over and asked if we needed anything -- at that point, we just asked for the check since we had been completely ignored. To make things worse, when I was leaving, I tried to take a picture of the taco menu (which we hadn't been given initially), and a waiter ran over asking, "What are you doing?" I said I just wanted to see the special menu, and he insisted there wasn't one -- until I said the waitress had shown it to us earlier, and then suddenly he pulled it out. It felt sketchy and unprofessional. I left feeling unwelcome and frustrated. The online post was misleading, the service was rude and inattentive, and the whole experience was uncomfortable. It's really disappointing because I used to love Margarita's Café, but after this, I don't think I'll be returning.

Still a fantastic place especially now that they brought Juan back! They also have some great options for late night apps, quick lunches and dinner deals! The service is always fantastic with Breddy Kim or LuLu!

I don't come just for the great food but also for a fun atmosphere, and vivacious ambience! Definitely would recommend coming for a fun Friday night! They even have happy hour from 4 PM to 7 PM! Definitely plan to come back to take advantage. Thank you to the manager Juan for adding to the experience with his great attentiveness and customer service! Go see Enrique for excellent drinks as well! 10/10 great bartender!

I went in on a Thursday evening (their ladies night). I started with the taquitos de pollo. They were well crafted (they didn't fall apart when I picked them up) and crispy (crunchy and perfect for dipping). The chicken inside could've been more seasoned but they were good overall. For dinner I had the enchiladas suzias and I have no complaints. My food came out hot with melty cheese and their refried beans are LIT. Apparently on ladies night their martinis are $4.95 (an absolute steal). I ordered the mango flavor and again, I have no complaints. My drinks were chilly, tasty, and strong. The service was good too. The server was kind, attentive, and did not neglect to check and ensure that everything was ok. The ambiance was very on brand for a margarita spot. This place had cool artwork on the walls and was aesthetically pleasing. The seating area is separated from the bar by a wall but the music is loud in the dining room (it didn't bother me but I realize this may not be for everyone). My only qualm throughout my experience was that my food came out at the perfect temperature but got cold fast because the AC was blasting (which is perfectly understandable because the staff is working and it's easy to get warm when you're running around). I'd go back.

I love Margaritas Cafe. I have been there many times ( as well as the east meadow location ) and i have never been disappointed. Servers are always lovely . They are friendly and attentive . Even on a busy day the servers check in on you and keep water , drinks and chips coming . when i went on Friday it was loud , and that was at 415 in the afternoon . I mean music and people near us lol ! It really had no impact on my meal with my daughter . It was delicious . Her diet is non dairy and gluten free. Mexican food in general offers a lot of options. As the saying goes ...a picture is worth a thousand words! So look at our meal and think hot , authentic , tasty and perfectly executed. I can honestly say i have never ordered a meal i did not like ! Everybody who loves Mexican should try it ! (After posting the pictures i feel like going back tonight )

Very good food. Great Margaritas as you would expect. Good vibe inside this location but they have several restaurants around Long Island. Will be back!

From rich and smoky to spicy, tangy, creamy, and refreshing. Banjara Tikka brought tender chicken thighs layered with yogurt, fried onion and garlic. Mauryaji Basket Chaat delivered chickpeas, potato, tamarind, mint, pomegranate and a creamy yogurt mousse. The Chicken Seekh Kebab was perfectly seasoned and savory with pickled laccha onion, while the Guntur Chilli Chicken Bao turned up the heat with Guntur red chili, sesame and refreshing beetroot shikanji shots. The vegetarian dishes absolutely held their own as well. Chilli Momo with carrot, sesame and seaweed, came out with a soft, delicate bite and a subtle chew, filled with a lightly spiced vegetable mix that leaned savory and aromatic rather than overpowering heat. The Paneer Makhni was rich, velvety, and deeply comforting. The paneer stayed soft and pillowy, soaking up a buttery tomato-cashew gravy that was slightly sweet, gently tangy, and finished with that unmistakable fenugreek aroma that tied everything together. The mains were just as unforgettable. Laal Maas came in bold and unapologetic. Tender goat slow-cooked until it practically melted off the bone, swimming in a deep, smoky gravy built on mathania chilies that brought slow heat. The Shrimp Malai Curry was the complete opposite in tone. Silky coconut milk wrapped around plump tiger shrimp, with Bengali whole spices adding a gentle sweetness and aromatic depth that made the dish feel light yet indulgent at the same time. And somehow dessert still had room to impress. Rose Kulfi was creamy, floral and sweet without being overwhelming. Drinks included everything from the floral, mezcal-and-rooza Gulabo to Mango Lassi. And as someone who historically doesn't like anything rose flavored, I enjoyed both the drink AND the dessert. Just as good as the food, was the service. It is definitely a spot that should not be missed.

The canned and bottled beers were not too far off. The food looked like some supermarket frozen food section stuff. Over priced, over fried and cold in the middle. The music played overhead is early 2000s emo and punk which is cool. But does not fit with the aesthetic of 90s nostalgia. The staff is unprofessional and some rude. Vaping behind the bar, drinking, and taking their time letting lines build up. They also let way too many people in. It came to the point where it felt like you were on the subway going home during rush hour. Shoulder to shoulder, back to back -- not a good feeling at a dive bar. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. You pay $15 for a ticket but you get a souvenir cup with your ticket. Not mad about this because the cup is actually decent and will be used. Their next pop up will be "Slime Time".
