Absolutely incredible pizza. Best I've had outside of Italy. The drinks were also fabulous, well done Caesar salad, amazing affogato with high quality ice cream and espresso. What more could a woman want?

If you want delicious Italian food - come to Margherita's! I'm so glad I finally came to try it out! We started with the special - black truffle arancini (5/5) crispy on the outside and flavorful inside with a delicious vodka sauce included. The mozzarella sticks (4/5) were also pretty good, the marinara paired with it was delicious. For entrees I had the penne vodka with chicken cutlet and it was my favorite penne vodka I've had! The pasta was cooked well, the vodka sauce was delicious and the chicken was well cooked and incorporated (cut into bite sized pieces. For dessert we had the tiramisu - great overall favor but the top layer of ladyfingers was a bit dry for my preference but overall still great flavor and I loved the texture with the chocolate chips incorporated. Service was excellent! Gabriella was our server and she was exceptional with recommendations and checking in on us to make sure everything was good. Ambience at Margherita's was laidback but nice, it was dimly lit so there's some date night vibes there but also a great place to bring your family and/or dinner with friends. Parking is metered street parking also available through ParkMobile app.

    Spicy Lobster Pasta

MY NEW OBSESSION? Ok, so listen Linda. I was seriously craving pasta this evening, and wanted to have some delivered. I looked through the delivery apps for pasta and came across Margherita's. They had great reviews, and the menu caught my eye right away. The main thing that stuck out to me, as in, had me salivating, was their spicy lobster pasta, made with vodka sauce and capers?! Excuse me?! Now, this was under their weekly specials, so my heart would be ABSOLUTELY BROKEN if I can't get this regularly :-( so hopefully, it becomes a regular menu item. Anyway, I ordered the spicy lobster pasta, and it was en route. So, let me start with the minor cons (again, minor). They didn't send any napkins or plasticware. Perhaps you're supposed to request it through the app, by I didn't see the option. The second con is, it doesn't come with a side of Parmesan cheese. It's an extra $2 if you want a side of Parmesan, but i think it should come with it, and I only say that because Parmesan cheese is always a part of the Italian restaurant experience. You order your pasta, it's served, your waiter offers you freshly grated Parmesan and freshly cracked pepper. My final, very minor con is, I wish my pasta was a bit more al dente. Even though it was angel hair pasta, I still love a good bite. Now, having said that, let's get into the pros, which made me look past everything! First off, the dish is beautiful! I mean, you eat with your eyes first, no? Right. It just looked so pretty. The pasta, the beautifully done vodka sauce, the capers, the angel hair pasta, the chunks of lobster, I mean it all just made me so happy from the looks alone. Now, along with a dish looking good, we need it to taste good too, no? Right. So, I get my first fork-full. It's still nice and hot and I taste that vodka sauce......girl, that was some of thee best vodka sauce I've had. It tasted like LOVE, you understand me? Just, perfection. It had a nice little spice to it, you got a lovely, salty burst from those capers, the angel hair was a great choice for this dish because it's so thin and pairs nicely with pretty much anything. The yummy, meaty chunks of lobster were heaven-sent! Just, delectable! I was in love right away. I told myself that I'd be eating here regularly, and need to go in person. This dish was just divine all around. It also came with bread that soaks up that vodka sauce, beautifully! Omg, I've been missin' out! I will be ordering from here again, and you should too! I look forward to trying more menu items, and going in person! I'm OBSESSED!

Work of art - Truffle Honey Fig Pizza. Excellent!

Small, loud, dimly lit and fun! Third visit here and consistently great! Tonight the pappardelle bolognese and their special 12" pie with fig, arugula and honey truffle oil, topped with thinly-sliced prosciutto was outstanding! We started with PEI mussels and they were fresh, clean, plentiful and the marinara was piping hot and delicious! Add a couple (OK, more than a couple) of Limoncello Mojitos and woohooo - great dinner!

The ambiance is pretty nice - the inside is quite cozy and chic! And superb outdoor seating for summer! The food is quite average - we liked pesto pasta and fettuccini Alfredo. But the fig pizza was a turn off. The figs on top of pizza were not even roasted as can be seen in the picture. They were basically raw. The service is nice. It was not difficult to get a table on a Friday evening.

My favorite place in Hoboken. I've never failed to get a spot and I've only gone on weekends. Their atmosphere is so cozy and family oriented and their food is to die for. Always my top choice when hosting visitors.

I have to admit I hit the jackpot with this special. The regular menu is a bit to basic for my liking, but the staff are friendly, the place is cute, and an added plus, you can actually make a reservation for it in Hoboken which is rare nowadays

I came here for dinner with my family of five after helping my sister move into her apartment down the street. The staff was very nice and the service was excellent. Our meals were very good across the board. I ordered the chicken parm with vodka sauce, and it was outstanding--the pasta might honestly be the best I've ever had. The drinks were just as impressive. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I'd highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

The freshly made pasta here was so delicious! Ambiance - cozy space and decor - candles on the tables are beautiful and warming Service - attentive servers - food came out quickly Food: Complimentary bread was warm, crusty and delicious - mozzarella sticks: cheese stretch was perfect! And this classic appetizer was fried perfectly and delicious - Penne Arrabbiata: pasta was perfectly al-dente! I loved how the hot cherry peppers added some spice and tang to the dish. Marinara sauce bought so much fresh tomato and herb flavors

First time here, and will definitely be back. They have a full bar with very reasonably priced drinks and bottles. The bread brought to the table comes with olive oil and balsamic drizzle is extremely warm and fresh. We opted for a calamari appetizer, which was the perfect portion to split between us three. We decided to all order different entrees to share and try. The penne vodka is absolutely divine and a must try. The pizza is fresh, and flavorful. The chicken francese was absolutely cooked to perfection. The only downside is there are no reservations so from time to time expect a wait for a table. Will definitely be back to enjoy their dessert menu and drinks.

Our favorite lazy Sunday dinner spot when we want some good comfort food. This place never disappoints and is consistently good. We tried a peach and honey pizza that was on the specials menu and it was DELICIOUS.

The food is delicious! We got a pizza with pepperoni and green peppers, chicken sandwich and a spicy vodka sauce penne. Every bite was delicious. The reason it isn't 5 stars is the service. We were one of 2 tables in the restaurant, but our server barely checked on us, and was hard to get her attention. She was hanging at the bar talking to another employee most of the time.

    Christine A.

First time coming here for someone's birthday. We were a party of 5 and it was a Thursday around 7pm. So it was during the dinner rush. Only one table available. The place was packed. Lots of families and kids. Noise level was pretty high. The ambience is very casual, like a pizza joint. No tablecloths. Nothing fancy. It took at least 45 minutes for the food to come. We were starving. My friend said his chicken parm was dry. I had a mozzarella appetizer, which was huge but a bit boring. I ordered Spicy Sausage Orecchiette--bland and the pasta was overdone. I had 2 Aperol Spritz. So much ice, I didn't feel the alcohol at all. Portions are medium to large. Our server was friendly but he didn't check in with us about how we doing. My advice. Stick to the pizza. That looked good. Bottom line: I'll keep exploring Hoboken for a standout Italian place.

At work, the Godfather wanted to order (unusual for him to suggest it; usually I'm the 1 pushing for us to order out, and he's invariably resistant, although ultimately, he's acquiescent, although just as invariably he blames me for "pushing him into it" as he gobbles down whatever food it was we've ordered). I was willing but wanted to try something different than our usual fare (burgers, Chinese, Japanese, sandwiches). Someone else mentioned Exotic Eats, as a younger co-worker had ordered from there recently and seemed to enjoy what he had eaten. I asked, "Does this younger co-worker have a discriminating palate?" (Not actually being quite the jerk I oftentimes seem to be, I did of course use less pretentious, overblown verbiage in asking my question.) The reply was, "He's young; he'll order almost anything and like it." So...it might be great; it might be horrible. So we took a chance. They deliver, and I was intrigued by their on-line menu. I can't remember what the Godfather ordered, or another co-worker who wanted us to include him in what had once been known as the Lunchbox Mafia, but I ordered "the Island Bowl." Sliced jerk chicken breast on a bed of Mac & Cheese with jerk BBQ sauce. Being hungry, I ordered a side of blueberry cornbread, and the dessert of banana pudding cheesecake. All of it washed down with my ever-present bottle of Poland Spring water. We didn't have to wait long for it to be delivered. As I mentioned in my introductory remarks, I found the food fabulous. The jerk chicken in its BBQ sauce had a tangy sting, but it wasn't unpleasant or pain-producing. And I have to say-- the Mac & Cheese was the best I've had since my late mother used to make it for me in childhood. It's a baked "dry" Mac & Cheese as opposed to the overly sauced (and bland) version you get in most restaurants these days (all it was missing was the crumbled crackers that my mother used to put on top of it). Pure deliciousness, as they say. The blueberry cornbread was the perfect accompaniment, and the banana pudding cheesecake was wonderfully smooth, creamy, and decadent. I wasn't feeling bloated to the point of discomfort once I had finished it all, but I definitely felt "well fed." My fellow partakers were equally as enthused. Prices were fair, portions were immeasurably more than adequate, and the meal was luxuriously satisfying on every single level. As mentioned, delivery didn't take long at all, and it arrived hot. I'm not entirely sure how to classify the cuisine. The website described it as "Soul Food" with a "Caribbean Spirit." A long-time friend of mine is Jamaican, and she used to throw a big feast for friends and family every summer (I was usually the only white person invited, which was never any sort of a problem, although once a little kid of 4 or 5 looked at me with hostility and said, "What are YOU doing here?"), before health issues sidelined that annual event. She was a great cook, and everything was fresh-- jerk chicken, fish, ackee that always reminded me of scrambled eggs, breadfruit, sorrel liquor, etc. Despite the quality of the food served, I never really acquired a taste for Jamaican cuisine (I ventured out once to a Jamaican restaurant in Perth Amboy with friends; they were enthusiastic about it but it wasn't of the same quality as my friend served, and obviously didn't transform me into a "fan"), but I don't know that Exotic Eats is Jamaican per se. But I know that what I had was delicious and filling, and I can't wait to order from Exotic Eats again. Obviously, very highly recommended.

Here's the rundown: We went for BRUNCH. They have a prix fixe for $41 of most of the brunch items and it includes 2 Bellini, 2 mimosas, or 2 Bloody Marys. Good right? Also all very good! -The View. Our party was too large to sit outside but we did sit right at the floor to ceiling windows. In between birthday wishes and food comas we watched the boats, jet skis, and undulating waves of the Hudson. Previous posters are correct - the place is pricey. But high key the people who live in that area are already paying a premium for everything else sooooo. Now, I DONT live in that area lmao so this will be a rarer treat for me. But I was happy to celebrate my cousin's birthday in a place that she loves. Awesome experience - I look forward to returning! 10/10 would put on a bra for this and walk downstairs lol

TBH, I don't really remember the rest of the meal. i think dessert was something sugary, dunno... Service was... oh, who cares when your body is coursing with medium-rare iron and slightly charred protein hunks that the noble bovine has so generously given mankind. And I guess I was there for my anniversary or something. I remember whatever riverfront view the restaurant touts was completely obscured by shitty rain. Oh, but the STEAK... I guess my wife liked her meal. Pasta? Chicken? Chicken pasta? Whatevs, it wasn't steak, so no matter. We're still married.

Our server Ricardo was amazing, never made us feel rushed, and was very attentive. The food was so well cooked from the appetizers to the dessert. The braised short ribs just fell apart and was so succulent. The highlight was the pistachio creme brulee that had a very tasty berry compote. The decor in the restaurant was beautiful from the woodwork to the lights. I generally dont find myself in Weehawken, but I will definitely take another trip to Faubourg.

We started off with the cheeseboard. The selection was bland with a side of bread. No other textures. I've had it in the past where it was organized by mild to the more stronger bites. Last night was all mild. No crackers or honey. I got the wagu and a side of fingerling potatoes. No mention that it came with fries. It came out with a side of fries. The waitress could have told me otherwise I would have switched my sides. Thanks for the heaping mound of potatoes. Also the wagu was lacking flavor and the presentation was meh. We still love this place and maybe it was just an off night. I just expect more for a $250 Wednesday night dinner.

3.5 stars I was…read moremeeting a friend for dinner at Molos and had arrived before she did. The restaurant was virtually empty inside and had plenty of tables outside, but I was still told that I needed to wait until my companion arrived before I could be seated. In the meantime, I parked myself at the bar and gazed out the massive windows at the stunning Manhattan skyline views. When my friend arrived, we asked for a table on their outdoor deck, which was located just to the side of the restaurant, so that it would not block the views for those in the indoor dining room. We were seated at one of their comfortable tables, but there was some strange water dripping down onto my legs, so we moved to another one. I was not drinking that night, so while my friend ordered a glass of wine, I opted for the Panoma mocktail made of Seedlip Grove 42 non-alcoholic spirit, peach, agave, lime, and club soda. It was sweet, bubbly, and refreshing. We received a basket of toasted, dry bread with their proprietary, aromatic olive oil. We also munched on two shared appetizers. First, we opted for a bowl of their Calamari to be grilled and served with a lemon emulsion. The squid rings were tender, and the citrus marinade was fantastic! It was my favorite bite of the evening. The Traditional Greek Salad was also tasty, though. It included chunks of vine-ripened tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, olives, red peppers, barrel-aged feta cheese, oregano, aged balsamic, and extra virgin olive oil. A few of the tomatoes were a bit mushy, but the majority of the salad was very fresh. For our entrees, we both ordered the Lavraki, a mild and flaky sea bass, which was apparently grilled whole over charcoal. Though the filet was supposed to be de-boned, I definitely found a half-dozen or so in my butterflied piece of fish. It was topped with some sort of sauce that was similar to hollandaise, as well as a bunch of capers. It was a very enjoyable plate of seafood. However, since it did not come with any side dishes, we decided to share the Foraged Mushrooms and the Brussel Sprouts. The fungi were varied, offering a blend of aromatics and layers of earthy flavors. The sprouts were a bit salty and overcooked, but not terrible. Once our meal had concluded and we had turned down dessert, we were offered water refills twice. Both times we said that we would love more water, and both times it never arrived. So, that was a bit odd. Otherwise, the service was fine, but not specifically memorable, aside from the manager wishing us a nice evening and thanking us for coming. While the food was above average, the real draws of Molos were the amazing views available from a majority of their tables, as well as the sophisticated elegance of their indoor dining room.
