Actually really tasty empanadas, it was a great snack before my flight. It's just pretty pricey, airport prices. Nice people working here and they have a lot of options. It was well organized too which I appreciate. I'd definitely say this place is a good spot out of the many bad ones here lol

I had heard nothing but great reviews about Maria Empanada in the Denver International Airport from fellow flight attendants. After also seeing how many great reviews they had I decided to give them a try and they did not disappoint!!! Located near the A gates, ME is a cute, bright, super clean space staffed with friendly people! There are tons of flavor options along with sauces and sweet treats. I ended up trying the Spinach, Diego, Beef and Argentina (not all on the same day-lol!!). The spinach and cheese talked like fresh spinach- the Diego was chicken and savory, the beef was full of flavor and filling- but the stay here for me was the Argentina (a had been sold out in my first visit) it's filled with steak and veggies- with the red sauce I got to go with it, it was AMAZING!!! If you're looking for a quick bite to eat and you're in the DEN airport, DEFINITELY give Maria Empanadas a try!!!

These empanadas are the perfect airplane food! I got an egg and potato, and a bacon egg and cheese empanada. As well as one of the Alfajor cookies-- traditional flavor. Loved how the cookie was individually wrapped. And how the empanadas are stamped with the flavor. The empanada were soo good. Not greasy, and a great little handheld for on the plane. The cookie was yummy. But I probably wouldn't get it again for on the plane. When I started to eat it, it kind of was crumbling a little bit. Which was a little awkward. Not horrible, I'm just being picky. I'd get it again, if eating in the terminal, because it was delicious. But next time I'll get one of the dessert empanadas for on the plane. Thanks for providing great food at DEN. Staff was also very friendly-- and it was early. See you next time!

While on a layover in Denver, we were allowed to deplane for egress because we were inside the plane waiting for more than three hours so we decided I decided to get some food and found MARIA empanada. MARIA empanada has a variety of savory options from pork to spinach to mushroom beef in the lake and they also have some sweet options like peach cobbler, apple pie and the Like. It's a carryout type restaurant and extremely convenient when you're in the a terminal of Denver International Airport.

If you are ever in the Denver Airport this is a yummy spot at terminal A near gate 24. The empanada options are great and the service was friendly they also had a picture of one of my favorite soccer players Maradona which is what called my attention , seating is great for a quick break and vibe is chill. 10/20/25 & 10/28/25 What a great addition to DEN airport. Located next to Gate A24. Great for me connecting through here! Maria Empanada has something to accommodate almost everyone! Quick and easy. Empanadas are $6.25 each and sweet empanadas are smaller at $3.35 each. They have just the right amount of filling. I have tried the Argentina, Sierra, Chorizo & Egg, and the Mushroom and Spinach over my last couple visits on my back to back travels. They are room temp warm vs hot. I definitely prefer them hotter in temp. This lil spot is gaining traction over the week so there is a line when you first walk up but it moves pretty fast. Service is fairly quick and easy. There is seating available if you have the time to sit and enjoy them.

Maria Empanadas hit da spot. Why is it when you're hungry, the food just tastes better. This location is in the Denver International Airport. Average price spend is $10 - $20 per person. All the Empanadas are $6.25 each. Flavor choices range from Chorizo and Egg, Egg & Potato, Argentina, Beef, Diego, Ham and Cheese, Caprese, Corn, Mushroom, Spinach or Maria Empanadas. The sweets vary from $3.35 to $10.45. Employees here are friendly and efficient. They verified my order for accuracy because I was asking about so many different empanadas. Everything was delicious.

I was heading to my flight at the Denver Airport and noticed this these cute pastries. They were small enough that I could pick two before my next flight. I ordered the Chorizo, Eggs and Potatoes, and the Eggs and Potatoes empanada. They were incredibly fresh, nicely filled, and the pastry was very flaky. I wish I would have gotten the dipping hot sauce as it would have added a little bit more complexity and moisture, but they tasted great. Each Empanada was $6.25 and they also offered sweet empanadas as well. Great service!

    Yummy!

I stopped in at the airport location to get something to eat before my flight. I had the Argentina and Mushroom empanadas. They were up[ very quickly which made me wonder how good they would be if they were just reheated, but there was no reason to wonder. These were delicious. Hot, crispy with just the right amount of filling. They were fairly large portions for the price which is unusual for the airport, haha. I will absolutely come back and try the others. What a great edition to DIA!

Beyond serving ice cream, they serve as an outdoor gathering spot with events like ice cream making, movies on a projector screen, and live music throughout the year. They also sell real Christmas trees (little ones for the little men/women in your life) during the holidays. This is LoHi, so be prepared for a bit of street parking headache if you're driving here. While waiting in line, browse the posted signs for current specials and sneak a peek at the scoop flavors posted between each order window. On extra long wait days, you can walk down the street to their factory location just a few yards down to save time on their year-round flavors. They do have dairy-free options as well. Once you're at the front, walk up to the first open scooper at any of the various windows and you can sample any flavor on the menu. Obviously the Salty O (a salty Oreo) is a staple, but I'm partial to their Ube Cheesecake (it does taste like ube!) as well. Some of their salty flavors can err a little TOO salty, which was a first for me ice cream wise, so just be warned that I wouldn't get more than a single scoop of these unless you're a sodium fiend. Their ice cream sandwiches are pretty good too, but come out solid as a rock from the freezer so you might get stuck thawing this in your pocket while the rest of your friends are downing their dessert. Take a minute to unplug and people watch on the patio while you enjoy.

But fast forward to 2026 and the era of tariffs and inflations, a $10 drink is the norm. And I'm glad I decided to give MTP another try. First time was good but didn't stand out. This time around, I left impressed. We were in Downtown to see Hell's Kitchen and I decided to bring my partner here since he's never been. This time, I ordered the ube jasmine sweet cream drink because it didn't look too powdery and artificial (the light purple color spoke to me). We also ordered the black sesame drink and both drinks were quite delicious and definitely worth the drive for the drinks (or at least the 14 min walk from the entertainment venues to here for a pick me up before the shows). They're not too sweet and I'm glad that they don't overload the drink with ice because I've been to some places where you get 90% ice. It's a modern milk tea shoppe but it's currently located in a plaza with plenty of outdoor seating and it's enclosed so you don't see the loudness of the city. I understand that high grade matcha is expensive, but I am not a fan of how the drinks are priced. $10.70 after tax is more than what I would pay for a good matcha drink in the Bay Area. That being said, my drink was really good and I do want to come back here to try their other drinks.
