Great pizza, friendly, efficient service. Pickup orders always ready on time. And they have not raised their prices since COVID, unlike many other places. Only problem we ever had was with the "SLICE" app - more about that later. The Rustica pie is as good as it gets - loaded with sausage slices, roasted red peppers, red onion, the most delicious Gaeta olives (whole, not sliced), and fresh moz. Check out their menu for some additional very creative, original pies. Example of the kind people you are dealing with at Maria's - ordered through SLICE. On opening pickup order at home, plain pie, rather than the works. Called Maria's and they apologized and offered to replace, but we decided to eat what we got - we were hungry and it smelled so great. Maria's IMMEDIATELY sent SLICE the credit for the wrong pie, PLUS a generous courtesy amount. Emailed me a copy of the SLICE refund transaction. Unfortunately SLICE chose not to pay or credit the refund. After waiting a week I called SLICE, told them about the problem. SLICE claimed they didn't even have a record of the original purchase.... odd because I had a confirmation copy. SLICE insisted I had to send them proof of the original purchase transaction from my credit card records. Told them to pound salt - they have an accounting problem, gave them 48 hours to straighten it out. After time was up, I posted a 1-star review on Google against SLICE. That lit a fire, and after a few more days I received my credit. Short story - call Maria's and place your order. That way SLICE doesn't take a cut from the purchaser, and a cut from the business. I just went in to get some lunch and ordered 2 slice and a soda and the young white dude was behind the register first of all his attitude from the beginning was like he didn't want to be there so I know how that feel I didn't say anything I gave him the money so he snatched it again I didn't say anything. When my food was ready he threw the box on the counter. I haven't said anything to this dude other than ordering my food and if I wasn't hungry I would've thrown the pizza right in his face but I took the box and walked out knowing I was never going to spend another dime in that establishment. Very disappointed. I ask for meatball parm with a toasted roll. What I got was a soggy mess. The meatballs fell out every time I took a bite. Meatball was not seasoned. No flavor at all. This place was great. Vodka pie was absolutely delicious. Cheesesteak boli could have been left in the oven a bit longer, but flavor was there- so I'm just being picky. Meatballs were stewed, but still firm, so all good there. Kiddo liked the cheese ravioli. My only complaint was the jalapeno poppers were clearly from a frozen pack and under fried. Pizza sauce had no flavor and pizza was burnt on the bottom. Then I got fried calamari and it was so rubbery and under cooked. Costumer service was terrible the counter teens were on their phone with their back to me and I had to get their attention then they proceeded to give me an attitude. THis was such a good place to go for some great food, Not sure if the owners have changed or just don't come in to work anymore - whomever is running the place just doesn't care about customer service or satisfaction About a year ago I stopped going because some employees were not wearing masks (and they were breathing on my food) I have gone back recently adn between the pizza not being fully cooked, or my request for hot food to be in a separate bag from the cold food not being met (3 times) I am done supporting them and their families. Me and my friend were trying to look for a good place to eat. My friend recommended Maria's Pizza since she's gotten food from there before a few times and said they were pretty good. I decided "Why not?" and we ordered a caesar salad with balsamic dressing (no caesar dressing) on the side, a half-cheese steak with extra cheese and fried onions, and a meatball parm . They delivered it pretty quickly (15 minutes at least) and, once we got our food, it was dOo dOo. The meatball parm was ok but the meatballs had no flavor AT ALL. It was just bland. It was like you just bit into a cow who suffered in a farm fire in a pile of other cows. The bread was good though. The caesar salad was seriously a disappointment. All they did was spill caesar dressing on a dry bowl of lettuce. It didn't even have CROUTONS. IT WAS JUST A BOWL OF LETTUCE. IT WAS LITERALLY A BOWL OF LETTUCE! It was as if I chopped up a head of lettuce, spilled it on the ground, dropped caesar dressing on it, and slipped in it. I had to add my own croutons and I asked for no caesar dressing but they still put it on. The waitress didn't even seem to care... Then we also ordered a cheesesteak with extra cheese, fried onions and mayo on half. They completely split the whole thing in half and there was only fried onions on one side. There was also not a lot of meat. It was like the equivalent of a baby mouse worth of meat (not that I would ever eat a baby mouse). That's how little meat there was... In conclusion, only order from Maria's if you like soggy, stepped on lettuce, flavorless cow spheres, and not enough meat only the equivalent to a baby mouse. YEE YEE!!! read more

We ordered a few entrees from Maria Pizza in Milltown and was completely disappointed with the food. No flavor! It seems like all the dishes were missing salt or any Italian seasonings. The mushrooms on the chicken francese taste like straight out of a can. Save your money, go to Shoprite and buy a frozen Italian meal instead of ordering from this place. I was going to give it four stars, but then I remembered the garlic knots. This review is for the pizza and knots only, so I can't comment on their other food. We took out a large cheese pizza. It was just a little bit too oily and probably could have used a bit more sauce. But it was crisp, as I like it. Like other places, it was too salty for me, though not as bad as some. I guess it comes with the territory. The little guy loved it because of the small amount of sauce, and it was the first time I ever saw him eat a whole slice without pulling off the cheese. In fact, he ate three slices, also a first. But the garlic knots were awful. They're supposed to be made from pizza dough, but these seemed like they came from a can of Pillsbury Crescents - same shape and same soft, doughy taste. It was sooooooo dry that I had to drink water after every bite to push the food down. We just moved to the area and this was our first pizza delivery. I liked the pics on here so decided to give this place a try. We had a very underwhelming experience. I ordered a plain, pizza, mozz sticks, and fried ravioli. We got a sausage pizza instead of the plain and our apps looked like they got stepped on. The clear lids were smashed in and the sauce cups were open, spilling on the apps. Everything was cold. You would think getting upgraded to a sausage pizza would be dope, but my wife didn't want that, and the slices just flopped with grease when trying to pick it up and fold it. Maybe we are on the edge of their delivery zone and the rain that started caused some delays? Wanted to like them but looks like we need to move onto the next pizza spot. Might give this place another chance, might sell the house immediately. Digiornos would have been a better experience while saving us about $35. read more

Was a long time fan! Grew up on Maria's pizza. Went down hill for a little while but over the past two years came back to life and was very impressed ! Pizza, meals and salads all amazing! Last few times have been terrible! People who take orders don't know their own menu and are so confused when you ask for crispy chicken vs grilled chicken on a simple salad. Phone ordering is a disaster, messed up orders, no dressing with salads burnt pizza and calzones. So disappointed. Time to find a new pizzeria ! When called to nicely complain. I was told every time I called that no one was there to help me and management would call me later... well it's been a month and no one has called. Flew in from 1900 miles away, got in my rental car and first place I went to was Maria's Pizza! Wow wow wow. The food is really good but the service & delivery time are HORRIBLE. They always mess up our order & will tell you a delivery time of 1 hour but it will actually take 2 1/2 hours. Then when you call back you can't even get through. This has happened multiple times, not ordering from there again, it's just not worth it.
