This place is better than many pizza restaurants found in northern NJ and New York, where pizza is king! My personal favorite was the white pie, which was not overly bathed with garlic, like so many white pies I've had elsewhere. The cheeses used on all the pies tried were of top quality. Food aside, the service was very friendly, like you were eating over a best friend's house! This lengthy review is a first for me as my experience with their attention to detail and customer service tonight was far above all others. Tonight, Maria, took customer service to another level. While placing my order I had to repeat my credit card information, due to a sprained neck and jaw I was having trouble speaking clearly. I explained why I sounded this way and requested that their incredible dinner rolls not be delivered with our meals as I'd be too tempted. Estimated delivery 30 - 35 minutes. Less than 20 minutes later Maria delivers our meals, offers to carry the food in for me, is there anything I needed. Maria did bring a few dinner rolls for my son's dinner, I insisted they go back I would be too tempted and probably injure my jaw further - yes their rolls and pasta are that delicious. Lived in the area for over 40 years. They are under new management (for about a year now). Older reviews indicate that they are closed but that is not the case. The staff is very friendly and they serve and awesome thin crust pizza. The Italian hot dogs and cheese steaks are the best I have ever eaten. This is now our families new favorite pizza place. This is hands down my favorite pizzeria in point pleasant / brick area ! From the fresh basil plants outside to the homemade pizza dough and Nutella zepollies! This family owned business is right up my alley! My father and I came in today for lunch ! I had the mussels marinara and my father had the shrimp scampi, they were both to die for! The red sauce let me add is perfect not too watery and just thick enough! I hate watery sauce lol the owner herself Eleanor hand delivered our food right to our table ! The most gracious / hospitable owners I have ever met ! She talked to us for a good ten minutes, so easy to talk to and it was good to see a owner ask her guests how they were doing and if everything was good! You could tell they really enjoy owning this pizzeria! If I could give ten stars I would ! My dad and I will absolutely be back ! You have my business as long as I live in brick New Jersey ! I love to eat at Patsy's in Manhattan, NYC because Frank Sinatra loved their food but now that I found Maria's Pizza I no longer have to travel to Manhattan for the same high quality delicious Italian cuisine. The amount of excellent food that you receive is over the top too. You can easily feed 2 people heartily on 1 entrée and still have plenty of left overs. The chicken they use is tender NOT frozen, their stuffed shells are home made, the chicken Marsala was out of this world.
