Yesterday my husband went and bought a strawberry pie. I was so excited to finally get one this season, and when I opened, it looked dry, and the strawberries looked old. You know when strawberries have been in the fridge for more than a day they get soft and have a different taste. I was so excited to eat, so I went ahead and cut me a piece, hoping it still tastes good, but it didn't. What a waste of $21 . So my advice to anyone that buys a fresh pie check it before leaving to make sure it's not an old pie. But they should know better not to sell pies like that, especially because they are not cheap. read more

Plenty of parking available. Walked in at 6:30 on a Sunday evening and was sat immediately. Our server Thalia was a delight. Very friendly and conversational. Also suggested the foods she liked best which was very helpful. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo and the beef stoganoff...both were delicious although I did add a gratuitious amount of salt and pepper. Food was average...Shepard pie was not done right. I tasted like cold cat food and the grated cheese on top of the mashed potatoes was not melted, hock! My son and I went to dinner at Marie Calendars last night. He had the meatloaf dinner and I had the chicken pot pie trio. Both were delucious and included a slice of pie. Service was exceptional as well. Restaurant seemed clean and food came out nice and hot. Sadly, there are only a handful of these restaurants still around. Let's not let this one slip away too. So I was across the street at Salina's Tire, having a service done that they informed me were going to take excess of five hours I made myself comfortable in the sitting area. That's a Tire shop, but after a few hours I knew I was going to need to eat something. I downloaded delivery service apps, and started exploring menus and quickly realized that everything was just so outrageous. The price that's although the food itself was going to be approximately $20 once adding in delivery charges and tax. I was going to play something like close to $30 for a big nugget meal. I can get something to eat from As I was walking, I noticed across the street construction, and next to it with this tiny Marie calendars restaurant. It almost looks close as due to be massive construction going on. Carefully across the street and noticed that it was in shock opened and made my way It is well. Kept small Marie calendars. My surprise was that I was immediately breaded, and very well taken care of. This is ultimate friendly, respectful, attentive, and efficient I ordered a Burger, but you see in the photos and it was cooked to perfection and everything taste great with a raspberry iced tea that I didn't even have to ask for Rachel. They just noticed and brought me a second one as soon as they soon my drink, starting to go below a certain line. When you can't get out the door at most places these days for less than 25 bucks a meal this was a treat. Give Marie a chance someday. You already know you like her pot pie and her pies. We ordered a banana creme pie for pick up. There weren't any on display when I arrived for pick up but they said they would bring it out from the back. Prices have certainly gone up but the quality of the pies is still the same in my opinion. I can imagine the whole pie is better deal than ordering by the slice.
