Our first time here and very impressed!! We started with the candied bacon appetizer...and if I could eat nothing else for the rest of my life, I'd die a happy person. Seriously, amazing. A little salty, but it's bacon. I had the surf and turf salad, which is enormous and every bite more delicious than the last! The Italian dressing is very vinegary and garlicky-just the way I like it. My husband had the cavetappi pasta dish and he really it as well. We will definitely be back!! read more

I think this is a great addition to downtown. Only thing I think will hurt business is the prices. It's just a little to pricey for the town it's in. Great quality and beer selection but $8 draft beers will hurt business. read more

We went to Marilyn's on Main for Easter Brunch (4/1/2018). We were a family of 12 and had Justin as our server. Justin was awesome. I got the unlimited Mimosa and he was always ready to get me a refill when it was nearing empty. The buffet was not the typical overpriced not so great food that I have come to find on holiday buffets. It was top quality. From the pastries to the chicken parmigiana. The food was incredible. Was in town for a wedding and went on Yelp to find somewhere to eat locally that's not a franchise or commercial. I called to see if I needed a reservation and the hostess answered "You could make a reservation " I was confused maybe she misunderstood the question so I asked again followed by the same answer. I thought that was bizarre but I made a reservation anyway. When we arrived to my surprise it wasn't busy and there was no wait. There was a lot of discussion before we were seated between hostess and server, very unprofessional. Our server looked miserable and very pissed off and when I opened my menu he reached in and grabbed the paper "Specials" from previous day and crumbled it up in front of us! Very unprofessional and we should have left right there but we were hungry and kids needed to eat. He told us his name was Josh but receipt said Justin Znosko. This guy should seriously get a different job. He has zero customer service skills and if he worked for my restaurant I would have fired this tool a long time ago. The food was good but our server sucked! What a tool! He made no attempt for a good tip or even a good experience. Very rude. Our kids even mentioned that he seems mad. That's ok pal, remember your Tip depends on it and I'm usually a good tipper. read more

This is a amazing family own restaurant. If your looking for a modern vibe and somewhere to escape to this is the place. The staff is amazing and so welcoming. The food is PHENOMENAL!!!!!! There is a party room the you could rent out that is a very nice size. The bathrooms are always clean and organized. The drink specials are such a good deal. I don't write reviews. However after our meal, I wanted to write a review to thank Marilyns for a great experience. My wife and I visited Uniontown from NYC. When we arrived, we were greeted by an employee that said they just had a large party and our meal might take longer than usual. We had no problem as we had to take a while to decide from the incredible menu, as well drink menus. The food was delicious, fresh, wonderful presentation, and quite fast even with the restaurant being busy. I work as a chef in NYC. This place would rival some of the best in the city. This place is a treasure, go support it. We wish we could more being so far away. However we know where were will be when we return. Thank you for a wonderful experience. read more

Been meaning to write this review for a few days. Went there on Saturday to celebrate a birthday. Place was very busy but since we called for a reservation we did not have to wait at all. The beer selection was very good. They had some stouts, some ipas, and a variety of other things. The daily special list had something for everyone and even listed a few beers. I had the street tacos and a side salad. The side salad was very nice. Some meat and cheese and the house dressing is very good. The staff was very nice and the food was very good. This is one of the best places to get a high quality meal in Uniontown. Lunch and Dinner are both great. I have been here with my wife 7 or 8 times and it has never disappointed. Everything we have tried has been great and worth the money. read more

Just bummed that it did not live up to the hype. Wines by the glass, total disappointment, I might as well of brought my own box of wine. Service at the bar was, well, equivilent to Applebees... I was asked if I "still wanted" the bread (which was freezing cold) and salad that came with my entree. As a single diner, that made me feel like two things: a bother and a pig. After asking about recommendations with the "I like everything" response, I ordered the gnocchi. Not bad, but for the price point, I would expect more than the 3 shrimp on my dish. For those prices and total lack of service/experience, I'll be going elsewhere. read more

I am new to the uniontown area and find Marilyn's to be a great spot to meet up with friends. Table service was fine but has some opportunities for improvement. The bar staff is excellent and the bar manager is super personable as I saw him touching all tables every time I have been there. I love the ambiance and it will definitely be my go-to for my tenure here. read more

We ate lunch at Marilyn's today and it was excellent. I recommend the fried mozzarella and candy bacon. The atmosphere was very relaxed with great 90s throw backs playing on the speakers. Our waitress, Tanya was very attentive and professional and recommended the bacon and I am glad that we listened. read more

My family wanted to try something different for lunch on a Sunday, so we gave Marilyn's a try as they offer a brunch. I guess you have to be in the know, as it took a little while for someone to come to the table and when they did, it seemed to go without saying that the brunch was the only thing going--meaning we could have headed up already. Not what I've experienced at other brunches. In general, the food was good, with a really nice variety, even though our first round was a little sparse (must have been bad timing as they had to refill a few trays). One item to avoid--mashed sweet potatoes. I make these often and know how real sweet potatoes taste. These were more like boxed potatoes mixed with baby food and sugar. Also, if you're looking to enjoy desserts, hit the brunch early. While they had some delicious options (Creme brûlée, berry parfait, pies, etc.), many of the desserts would have been far more appealing had they been sitting in an ice tray (as they weren't, they were drippy and melted). And then there's the price. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that this brunch is a cut above. The menu online says that sangria, mimosas, and bloody Marilyns are unlimited--not sure if this factored into the price ($24.95) or an extra charge. If it's factored in, that's not quite fair as not everyone drinks alcohol with their brunch. All in all we will likely end up returning, since there isn't too much of a variety in the general area. But with a few tweaks the brunch could be even better than it already is. read more
