Great customer service! Food is freshly made!! The burrito was amazing and great ambiance!

Came here to meet with a friend at LBX and decided on this place since it wasnt crowded and was an asian option. Its one of those places where you have a base, a meat, and you put toppings that you want. I ended up not going with that option and instead did the popcorn chicken with korean sweet and spicy. The popcorn chicken was $9, so I expected a pretty good order. It was...ok. I really liked the korean sweet and spicy which seemed to be made of goju jong sauce. The chicken was well fried and sauced mixed in well, but the portion just wasnt that big. If I had to choose a cheaper popcorn chicken from a boba shop or this place for $9, I choose the boba shop. I'm glad that this place is at LBX and i might even consider trying the bowls one day, but i will definitely not be getting the chicken again for $9. read more

Stopped here during a day trip to LGB. I was able to walk here from the airport, which was nice. I had heard good things about this place, and I was excited to try it. I was hoping to get the meat all by itself, without the whole bowl, since that's all I really needed. I guess there was no easy way for them to ring me up with that. Elias, the person in charge was able to make it sort of work, but it wasn't something that was "on the menu". That's a bummer since other food stands let you buy just the meat. I hope they will change that option since it required a few extra steps. For most people who get the bowl it's not a huge deal. I was able to get just the bugolgi meat, and it was very tasty. Hopefully they will add an option for just a side of meat at some point, since the other food stands allow you to do that. read more

This was my first time eating at this restaurant, and it was amazing! I ordered the Korean barbecue burrito, and it was absolutely delicious. The burrito was huge and packed with so much flavorful food--it's definitely worth every bite. I also tried the hot sauce, and wow, it was the spiciest hot sauce I've ever had! They serve it on the side, which makes sense because it's on another level. I love spicy food, so I really enjoyed the heat. Even though I don't live close, I would absolutely drive out of my way to eat here again. Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely love this place after discovering it a few months ago. I frequently get this place and when I am craving it I tend to order it on Uber The 2 stars isn't for the food by any means but rather the experience put forth for customers ordering through Uber. Not only can I not customize my bowl as I would when visiting in person, I just have to select a bowl and thats basically it. I typically call in to adjust my bowl to my preferences and it's never been an issue as it seems the team knows that the uber platform does not allow for any modifications. I called today at 1:45 immedietely after placing my order and was greeted with the grumpiest and rude "hello" and after explaining I would like to modify my bowl the employee said he couldn't do anything. I wanted to switch my protein from Spicy Pork Belly to regular and just rudely said he can't do anything for me but then changed his mind to do so. I just asked what options I had in terms of veggies to add to my bowl and he just scoffed under his breathe and mumbled everything out clearly irritated. Just think this issue needs to be addressed to give an equal opportunity to every customer whether thats in store or ordered digitally. Regardless this food is good! read more

Located in the LBX Hangar, Marinate KBBQ is a spot you can pick up quick and delicious kbbq bowls and burritos. I've been here twice and I've had the same exact thing because my spicy pork belly bowl was SO good the first time. It's kind of set up like Chipotle where you choose what toppings you want to go into your bowl. There's a mix of cooked veggies and raw veggies as well as a handful of sauce options. You can't go wrong with any of the options! My sister got a kim chi fried rice here but it was rather plain... it definitely could have used more kim chi and protein, and is part of the reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Was able to visit this place inside Hangar and try their Bulgogi Burrito. The place reminds me of a Korean Chipotle, you choosing what sort of protein, sauce, etc. that you want . It was quite easy to order, and towards the front, and easy to pay on the side with Apple Pay. I was only able to try the Bulgogi Burrito like I mentioned this time, while my friends was able to try some of the other dishes. It looked like they packed the burrito with a ton of different things .. Rice, kimchi, Bulgogi, some vegetables and even a fried egg. It tasted pretty good, especially with the spicy sauce it came with, but just a tad bit too salty. Think it is a nice place to have, compared to the other food they have here. I would say this is one of the "healthier" options compared to some other places. read more

Build your own bowl starts at $9 and depending on your protein choice will determine your total cost for that bowl. I usually go for the herb lemon grilled chicken. The chicken is tender and very flavorful. Their bulgogi is so flavorful too! Then you choose your carb. I love the multigrain option. Then you decide on leafy greens, your hot veggies and cold veggies, sauce in or on the side. I always choose the ponzu and either ahi verde or the ssamjang. Warning the ahi verde is spicy. The staff is always nice and don't mind if you ask for an extra scoop of your favorite toppings. I'm already looking forward to my next bowl! read more
