There was a queue but the wait wasn't bad. We had the bulgogi bowl and the chicken bowl. The proteins were well-seasoned and tender. The toppings of cucumbers, carrots, mushrooms and lettuce tasted fresh. Loved the purple rice. Only got a bit of kimchi. Overall quite different from our usual Korean takeout. The bowls were so packed with everything that made it hard to dig in and mix the ingredients without spilling. read more

I like to get the bulgogi bowl and it's really flavorful. I love all the different toppings especially the mushrooms and the pickled radish. Everything is really tasty but the price is a little steep for what it is. Am I so cheap for taking my bowl home and frying my own egg and cutting my own avocado to eat with it? :) read more

My daughter and I were down here for some errands when we decided to try this place, it was absolutely delicious. We had decided to get a bulgogi burrito to share, we told the man who worked there who was polite and straight to the point which I appreciated, we waited only a couple minutes for the food to come out before we went and ate, the beef was nicely seasoned, the sauce had good spice and had all the right components. Even though it was a little pricey it was worth it, we'll definitely be back. read more

Chipotle style of Korean Asian Fusion, where you pick the base and the veggies and protein style and sauce. I went where they were nearly closing at the end of the day so they gave me extra and what was left of a watermelon drink, which was decent, wish I had more. I thought the beef could flavor better but as a whole it wasn't too bad. The station looks modern and fresh. read more

I visited this place during their first few months of opening. It was a great concept, but poorly executed. It could possibly be because they had just open and were still in the works of getting things together. But all in all, this was my first impression of the place. Marinate Korean BBQ is much like the Chipotle for Asian rice bowls I guess. You go through the line and pick and choose any and all toppings you'd like in your bowl. It definitely looks like a healthy, delicious bowl at the end because many of the toppings are fresh vegetable options. I had ordered a lemon herb chicken bowl. The guy serving me skimped out on every topping available. And because most toppings were vegetables, it turned out to be more of a salad than a bowl because there was barely any rice in it. After loading up on toppings and protein, it actually looked like a delicious bowl. Sadly, the mix just didn't work. And there lacked any flavor in anything in the bowl. The meat was incredibly bland. There was cooked and raw vegetables which made the bowl a little off because it was half hot, half cold, but that was my fault for choosing those toppings. The dressing was just mediocre. I had high hopes. It was a great concept, I just wish it tasted better. Also, I don't know why it's called marinate korean bbq. It's kind of deceiving. It's a rice bowl place overall. read more
