I was in desperate need of a michelada and I found this place and they sure make a pretty darn good michelada. I also ordered a caldo de camarón and it was very good too. Even the chips and salsa you get before hand are good. The service was good. Very helpful waitress. Never again. This place should not be considered a Restaurant, rather a Nightclub/Kareoke Bar with optional menu items. Maybe. The seafood here is not fresh in the least! We ordered oysters and they were absolutely disgusting. This place needs to be checked for serving a hazard like that. We didn't want to fuss so we ordered a seafood soup (7 mares) to share and even that was a terrible meal. Seafood was tough and the soup was bland. The seating arrangement is crowded and not very Covid-Regulated. I'm still gagging at the memory of how those oysters tasted. Only ate 3 of the dozen. Absolutely never coming back here again. Looking for places to go out with family and drink, I stumbled upon this small restaurant. Although it is small, the atmosphere was one of the best. The staff were very welcoming and gave this energy that other places don't seem to have often. Menu wise, everything was reasonably priced and there were various alcoholic beverages to choose from. I personally grabbed myself one of my favorites, a carne asada burrito. First the size was perfect, not small and compact but rather large and stuffed. Usually other places seem to stuff their burritos with only beans and rice with little meat, but this place doesn't do that. They treat food like if it was going to be served to family. All in all, this place was a gem to find and I really recommend coming to this place with family. I ordered the tacos al Governador and they where so yummy! It had that homemade taste. It's basically like a crunchy shrimp taco with a hand made tortilla. You can tell the cook puts his heart into making these because they had a crunchy tortilla in the shape of a seahorse as decoration. I also ordered a michelada which was quite tasty! I'll definitely be coming back to get a few more of those tacos As far as the atmosphere it's your typical mariscos restaurant where they play loud music but I believe most have loud music. I was wrong on both. My husband got the Molcajete Mixto, it came out streaming hot and overflowing with different things on it. Pretty tasty to say the least. My bf and I stumbled in to this place by mistake. Initially, we wanted to go to another more locally known restaurant a few doors down but it turned out to be the best mistake we could have done. My bf and I have been here 3 times in the past 2 months and each time we come out with a smile and our tummy's nice and full. The food is delicious and very flavorful. I especially like the handmade fresh tortillas. The environment is nice and the waitresses are pleasant and you are brought your drinks and chips and salsa while you look over the menu. Hi I was excited to try this food out due to so many great reviews. But they were extremely racist acting. Almost as if they wanted us to leave because we didn't belong there. The lady that took our order didn't get a single thing right even though we repeated it several times. She spoke perfect English. She was just very rude as if she couldn't wait to walk away. I asked for no onions and it came with onions. I told her no tomatoes as well. She told me "ok well you can just take them off" and then walked away. It was supposed to come with avocado. My boyfriend asked her if it did and she said no, even though it said it came with cheese and avocado in the menu. The table was filthy. They was a squashed delicious looking fly on the wall. A ball of hair stuck and hanging under the broken LED lights that were hanging like nobody cares about the appeal of this place. Then half way though my taco I found a hair in my food. My boyfriend ordered rice and beans and I ordered beans. She brought me rice. The rice was mushy and old. Tasted moldy. The beans tasted and smelled like somebody put baby poop in it. (No joke not eatable) so I'm glad they messed that part up for me. The sides of hot sauce on the table were all sticky and moldy. Old and crusty. The chips were hard over cooked and stale. The only thing fine was the coke. That was bottled. I already feel sick to my stomach. My boyfriends fish was supposed to come battered. We told her twice to double check. Nope. It was almost as if they were messing with us. So rude. Wish there was a no star option. The worst part is when asked about anything she didn't care and tried to justify it by saying. U didn't order rice? And. O tacos don't come with avocado. Ummm. I read on the menu the difference between both shrimp tacos. And u gave me half of each, putting all the stuff I didn't ask for. Fine. Again would be one thing if u didn't write it down. Another if u just made a bunch of mistakes. But ur attitude is unacceptable. Sorry your having a bad day but you don't have to try and ruin mine.
