What my family and I get, el pulpo asado, we've come plenty of times and it always taste the same. Always so tender, juicy & well seasoned. Delicious. The beans and rice it comes with are also so good. We also get the tostada negra. Ooof! Nobody else has a tostada like that. The food is absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu is in Spanish but they may have an English menu. I ordered the grilled octopus and it was one of the best I have ever had. The shrimp was also very tasty. They also served nachos with salsa on the house. The salsa was spicy. I also ordered the virgin pina margarita and it was excellent. It was served in a pineapple. Great place if you are hungry for some Mexican seafood! No let me say that again, Mexican seafood, not Mexican food as in burritos or nachos. This place is great at seafood and that is what you need to order. I had an octopus taco , two shrimp tacos and a shrimp c ceviche and all were great! My favorite was the octopus taco! First off is a big taco, not street style taco but 5 inch corn tortilla and it's loaded. Great slaw and cream white hot sauce. The shrimp tacos came with the same slaw and sauce but were on a 3 inch tortilla. All the food was great but the standout of the night was the octopus taco!!! Also their complimentary chips and salsa are great. I will warn you, the servers speak very little English and the menu is in Spanish with no pictures so use a translation device to order right. Food was delicious, and the theming of the restaurant was cute, but I wish the service matched! We were seated right away, and greeted after a few minutes. My friend asked the server her name since she didn't introduce herself, but that was okay! We each got ceviche, and I also got fish tacos. Both were so yummy, but my food came out way before my friend's so it was a little cold when I did eat. Also, my friend ordered three different ceviches but only got 2 of them. When she asked, our server seemed confused, but hadn't written anything down so she couldn't go back and check. That was a bummer, but it was more of a bummer that there wasn't much of an apology...it actually seemed like they were blaming my friend for the mix-up, which was odd. This used to be my favorite place for mariscos. This place opened in 2012-2013 and back then you couldn't keep me out this place. Unfortunately recipes have changed and it just doesn't do it anymore. The ceviche cocido en limon had oregano... since when? . They used to chop up the shrimp and this time someone got lazy and just through whole shrimps with chopped shrimp and called it a day. It had no flavor. I doctored it up with more lime, more tajin and the table salsa they brought out. The waitress had to yell and so did we to get the order through. Then the waitress had to come back twice to repeat the order making sure it was correct. They ended up not having what we had ordered and she asked to try other foods which I said that we came for the food that we ordered only. She then charged us $20 for 2 regular horchatas and 1 small Sierra Mist that we did not even touch since we were waiting for the food. The drinks came out more expensive then the food I was ordering. The ceviche of fish was $6.99 per tostada. It was pretty ridiculous. I will not be coming back based on this experience. read more

We went here the other day and the servers give horrible service they didn't ask what else we needed until they saw that we got upset. When we ordered more chips they would take long to bring it to us. We asked for the check 3 times! We paid and we needed our change back but they all faked that they didn't have change so they can keep it as their tip all of them were asking each other "do you have change?" And of course they "didn't" they know they know they give terrible service and that we weren't planning to tip so they just kept our change. Would give zero stars if I could. Our party of 4 all received our food at different times. The empanadas should be classified as miniature ones. They are appetizers size at a meal price. Not only that but we asked for 3 "Campechana" to be hot. They weren't and 1 of them was also incorrectly prep. We let that slide and just order another 1to be prepared and asked for it to be hot since the others weren't. Mine you I asked 2 waiters just to double check. To my surprise it wasn't hot. everyone had to wait on me to finish eating and I wasn't even eating slow. It was due to the lateness of the food arriving to the table. Waitress would come and ask if we needed anything even though we would ask for more tosadas or sauces. They'd forget until we get another waitress to get it. So disappointing of a place. I told the hostess that I was on the Yelp waitlist and she told me they don't take reservations. I know that the waitlist is not a reservation. It may have been a Spanish language barrier.... anyhow, I was told than a table needed to be cleaned and was asked to wait outside. We were seated after a short wait. Drink order was quickly taken. The Pina Colada with alcohol was the best part of the meal. It had fresh pineapple chunks. Hence the 2 stars. All the food came as prepared so I was served my food first and waited for my bf who was brought his food way after me. I ordered the Camerones Zorreandos and the shrimp was overcooked. The beans were burnt. My bf got the langostinos con mantequilla. But... he didn't know that they were prepared deep fried and then put in butter sauce. So super greasy, oily and tough.
