    Cazuelita Mixta

I really love the food from here. The Culiacán style is my favorite mariscos. This place is cash only so make sure you plan accordingly or you can use the ATM inside. We ordered the Cazuelita Mixta and a cooked shrimp plate. Both were excellent. The waitresses did a good job asking if we needed anything and the food came out pretty quickly. The ambience is that of most Marisco restaurants with music playing. Overall, the food is great here.

This is the first time that we sat down and ate at this establishment. We have always picked up tubs of Mariscos to go for our family functions, the Mariscos were really delicious. Dinner tonight was good, Coctel Maleficio Aguachile, callo de hacha, this was made of Aguachile, shrimp, and scallops, and was delicious. There was a lot of seafood in it. The tacos de Camarón were also very good. The service was great. The young lady that waited on us was courteous, friendly and attentive. The structure is medium in size with plenty of tables and chairs and booths to sit down and enjoy your meal. The prices are fairly reasonable in line with other establishments of its kind. There's plenty of parking with the handicap stalls near the front entrance.

The food was so good & fresh! I highly recommend coming in and trying the food & Micheladas. The place was clean & the servers were attentive.

This is my mom's and I's favorite location for some delicious lukewarm shrimp cocktail with pulpo! Her and I have recommended it to MANY and they love the service & how quick the servers are! It's always so clean inside and they have all you need right at your table!

Smoked Venison Chops- delicious , especially paired with the blackberry sauce. The fondant potatoes were cripsy on the outside and had great flavor 5/5 Chiliean Seabass- asian flavors, with cilantros and pickled cucumbers and carrots. Fish was cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth 5/5 Lava shrimp- came with a good amount of jumbo shrimps, which were cooked perfectly. Good asian inspired flavor with the sweet chili sauce, but there was quite a lot of sauce overpowering the shrimp so it was a little too saucy for me. 4/5 Steak tartare- good portion of tartare with plenty of toasts for it. The tartare itself was excellent, but the toast was a bit inconsistent with some pieces perfectly crunchy while others were slightly stale. 5/5 The drinks were also very well made. Everything we tried tasted great and had a good amount of alcohol.

Outside, they had live music, which added such a nice touch to the evening. There was no wait when we arrived, which was a huge plus. For an appetizer, we tried something that wasn't on the regular menu, a 25-year-aged cheese, I believe, and it was absolutely delicious. For my entrées, I ordered the Rack of New Zealand Lamb and the 12-ounce Tajima Australian Wagyu Ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection and were delicious! I will say that this is definitely a little on the pricey side, especially since we weren't celebrating anything special, we simply came out for dinner. But overall, I thought it was worth trying, and I really enjoyed the secluded, private atmosphere. It felt like such a nice little escape. Honestly, take a first date here! The ambiance, live music, privacy, and food make it a really nice spot for a special evening. Definitely a place I'd come back to!

(Not sure if he's the manager now or a different person, but every server here is polite and efficient). Our usual order is 1lb of shrimp and 1lb of mussels, and we've always been happy with it. This time, we decided to try the Combo #2 because we wanted to add crab legs. We ordered three combo bags, each with shrimp, mussels, and crab legs. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like there was anywhere close to 1lb each of shrimp and mussels in the bags. I can't prove it, so I can only share our experience, but it honestly felt like there were fewer than 15 shrimp in the bag. For the first time ever, we finished our meal and were still hungry afterward. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend ordering the combo bag. Not only did it seem like there was significantly less food, but with all the ingredients piled together, some items ended up overcooked. We were really disappointed because we've had consistently good experiences with multiple locations here over the years. Hopefully this was just an off day, but we'll be sticking with ordering the seafood separately next time.

The Soju here is $15/$16 a bottle compared to $13 at the OC Source. Each main food dish is $20+ which is normal, but the serving sizes are on the smaller size compared to other places. This is not a cheap place for dinner and drinks. What I did enjoy here is the corn cheese, kimchi pasta, kimchi pancake, and the most important grilled kimchi pork belly. They are all well seasoned, not watery, and a good mix of salty, sour, savory, and spicy. If you're wanting something less flavorful, I would always suggest getting the fish cake soup and adding udon to the broth. That always settles my stomach after multiple bottles of Soju. The service is usually good, especially when it gets busy. The servers usually have a smile on and are nice. The restaurant is on the darker side and the music isn't too loud. I enjoyed the music videos being played on the TV.
