Good service the food is good at a very reasonable price I ate the corollas and camaron plate the shrimp were well seasoned, my husband had their breakfast the steak and egg their potato wedges are awsome and crisp. Sadly they let me down ... long time customer and I've never gotten food like this. I ordered takeout I ordered a botana of shrimp and octopus ... this shit had salad all in the bottom and litterally like 5 shrimps a couple of chopped octopus and big as peices of cucumber.... Ok, let me start off by saying the michelada was ON POINT! The perfect mix! I'm definitely coming back for that again. So why -1 star? Because look at my plate: Camarones al mojo del ajo. It was more like a plate of arroz con frijol with a side of camarones. Overall it was good, my dish did need some black pepper and I wished it had more garlic flavor, but again, I'm overall pleased and will be coming back again. I agree with some of the previous reviews that this is the epitome of "hole in the wall." Decors and exteriors are not the most attractive, but I love supporting small businesses! I came here for lunch on a week day, the place only had like 2 customers, so I got almost undivided attention and fast service, woo hoo! The service was excellent. Chips and salsa were brought to me immediately after I ordered and sat down, and refilled as soon as I finished my first basket (hehe, I love chips and salsa!). The burrito plate had huge portion, it lasted me for two meals. The only complaint I have was that the food was way too heavy and tasted more on the greasy end. I am not sure why this place has 4 starts. I have never been to a restaurant that doesn't have food to sell. They didn't have buns for tortas, they don't make aguas de horchata because they don't "sell," and the menu is not up to date with what they sell. FYI, the Aguas frescas are machine aguas. The food is not good. I will not be return to this place. read more

The food is good, we stop here randomly for luch. The service wasn't that good we got our food the waiter never stop to ask if the food was ok or ask for something if we are ok. As she never came back we finish eating and she still did not come so we have to go to her and pay. Stopped here with a customer, and let him choose the restaurant. At first glance, the entire restaurant looked dirty and needed a thorough cleaning. The seats were ripped, dirty and even the floor looked really bad. I would not ever eat here again, and not sure why it has such good reviews. I had their Camarones "Los Primos", Oysters with Ceviche and a large shrimp cocktail with oysters(Vuelve a la Vida). I also downed two Michelada's with my meal and after all the that...I could barely move I was so stuffed,lol! Pros: They're using quality seafood. Blue point oysters, Mexican shrimp and head on shrimp from South America that have an amazing flavor! Cheap beer! My Michelada's were under 5 bucks. They also sell beer by the buckets, so if you're with some friends or watching the game, you can save some cash. Cons: The place is small, it can hold maybe about 50 people. read more

First time here came from Vegas saw that they had good reviews so we decided to try it out. When we got here let me say complete disappointment they have no ac it's pretty small compared to the pictures so we order the server was not the nicest person the food was a super disappointing got a couple micheladas aka red beer it was so hot we left them completely full and our server tries to tell us that the red beer has no chile in it but that was a lie she didn't even seem to care at all. This is a great local place with excellent customer service and good quality "mariscos". This place is the definition of a "hole in the wall place" and ya'll know those are diamonds in the rough. My favorite menu item is the michelada with Negra Modelo, and at $4.50 it's a steal! I've been to places that charge $10 per michelada! Some of the food menu items I have tried are the: The American Breakfast, which is a classic and hard to mess up, the Mojarra Los Primos is a fried tilapia and the fish meat is easy to remove from the bone. The ceviche tostadas are a favorite item as well as the Plato de Ceviche mixto. My dad eats the menudo on Saturday mornings along with a Coors Light. The Coctel de Camaron is savory and numerous shrimp, not like other places that appear to count them... Or so my mother says. I've also ordered the crunchy tacos de Camaron.... Supper yummy and you can ask for salsa in the side. I highly recommend this place if you live or visit in the Gardena area. Please note this place closes early. I believe the hours posted are 9pm close on weekends but we tried Saturday at 7:30 PM and it was already closed. I believe 6PM is closing time. read more
