Best espresso drinks in town, quality pies, and baked goods. Don't miss out on this spot. Very nice service.

Three courses of savory and sweet treats including finger sandwiches, scones, pastries, and cookies with as much tea you can drink. The staff are always friendly and nice, and they make sure my food is safe from food allergens. The tea room can sit up to about a dozen people (my gals and I have booked the whole room once!) with two small tables for 1-3 people and then one larger table. If you aren't having the high tea, you can also shop their tea room, with both loose and bagged tea, tea cups and teapots, jellies, curd, and other pantry items and tea accessories. They also have other fun kitchen items (don't forget to check out the room upstairs for more cute gift ideas.

Tea and Food: Both the house welcome tea and our tea of choice were outstanding. We ordered a pot of the Caramel Vanilla tea and it was very tasty. Absolute 5/5 for the teas. The food was generally good. Scones are served with whipped cream and there was a solid variety of sandwiches, scones, and desserts. We ended up taking quite a few items to go. Service: Service was attentive and friendly. We were served by two younger ladies who were lovely. There's also a few older ladies that checked in with us periodically. Parking: Street parking. We parked on Julian Main St and walked over.

My sister loved her entrée so much that she wants to come back for her birthday and order the exact same thing, the savory crepes. Everything was served hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The coffee was especially delicious, and I'll definitely be ordering a cup on our next visit. The meal gave us plenty of energy to stroll through town afterward and enjoy the shops. It was the perfect combination of great food, a cozy atmosphere, and a relaxing day in Julian.

One of my biggest pet peeves: raza giving attitude to raza. Girl at register, chill. There wasn't even a line. One of us received our food, but after about 30 minutes, I had to get up and ask if they had forgotten mine. During that time, I noticed the cook spending several minutes chatting with two people. When I finally asked, she checked the receipts and told me my order had never been given to her. No offer to make it right, just a casual "sorry about that." Food was okay. Service was not. Que lastima. I rarely leave bad reviews, but judging by the other reviews, this doesn't seem like a one-time issue. Read the feedback and do better.

We already got our pie fix at Mom's, but made this our last stop before heading out. It was so cold out, a super chilly day, there's nothing more perfect than to grab a hot cup of steaming Apple Cider! It hit the spot! I couldn't stop just standing there sipping my hot cider while waiting for our to go items to be prepared. We got two apple cider donuts, one cinnamon sugar and one chocolate dipped. Long ago, I tried these tiny heart shaped pie crust cookies covered in cinnamon and sugar - Apple Memories! These are crisp tiny bites of love that you want to take home every single time! There are actually two buildings. One where you can grab a bite to eat, the other has all the merchandise, and both have whole frozen pies to grab to go! The building where you can dine has a small inside dining area, it can get cozy in there, but on a chilly day, that is exactly what you want! Just outside there is plenty of room outdoors to enjoy the scenery. In the merchandise building I couldn't help myself... we took home a whole gallon of apple cider, and also bought a jar of Cinnamon Apple Honey Spread and a jar of Apple butter... absolute yum! The hubs also decided to try the apple cinnamon chapstick! Yes, you can grab one of these famous pies at many different establishments throughout San Diego. To make name a few, Iowa Farms, Spring Valley Market, Siesel's and even at Vons! But if you're in Julian, don't forget to try a pie, grab some Apple Memories, and don't forget to bring a hot thermos to take that hot Apple cider to go! Enjoy!!! Simply the Best! Had the Dutch Apple pie, because I wanted something sweeter. It was very good, and served slightly warm. The crumbles on top added the bit of crunch with the soft gooeyness of the apple pie filling, The small scoop of ice cream covered it all, but I had to scoop the ice cream off to eat the pie.

I had the strawberry rhubarb and it was delightful! Even more options are available in their display case. Will definitely be returning. The next day I came back and we had the GF cinnamon apple muffin and pecan pie with vanilla ice cream (no -GF). My daughter said the pecan pie was to die for and the muffin was a delightful treat. We came in here and he wanted a slice of everything! I'm not a super sweets fan, and definitely not a pie person. Something about baked fruit, I'm not a fan of. My eyes widened and limited him to two slices and some cookies! We got two slices of pie, Strawberry Rhubarb and Bumbleberry (Blackberry, Blueberry and Raspberry) the trifecta of berries! We also grabbed a couple of small cookie packages, Snickerdoodles and Ginger snaps. Pie slices are $6.50, add $2 if you want to add a scoop of ice cream (olds school Thrifty Ice Cream! Yum!) The cookies are $3 each. That evening after we got home, for dessert, we tried the pies... hubs gave me side eye. I just wanted to try a tiny bite of each. They weren't bad. I liked the flavor of the Bumbleberry. Most of all I liked the crumble topping of both! Just give me baked sugar crumble topping any day for dessert and I'll be happy lol! Hubs can have the actual pie (and filling). Walking in, a line forms immediately in front of where the pies are displayed to be served. Then you move up to the front as you choose your sweet treats. Staff was super nice. You can choose to dine in or take your items to go. Super warm homey feeling all around. 2026: 24

This has become a go-to spot post-hike in the area and always is the treat I look forward to. On my most recent visit I had the BLT which had avocado, an egg, and chipotle mayo on brioche - hit the spot. Each sandwich comes on a different type of bread, which adds to the flavor profiles for each. Sometimes places just put it all on wheat or sourdough, but I like how the bread is paired to add to the sandwich. There's seating inside and out and always plenty of parking, though I can imagine on the weekend, it's more competitive. Although the spot has been around for a while, I just recently got introduced to it on enthusiastic recommendations from others, so I pass that enthusiastic recommendations onto you.

Maggie misses the fresh baked fruit bars and were soft and full of sweet fruit flavor.  Cashier told us they are only baked on Saturday now.  We touched the fruit bars and they were all hard from sitting around half the week.  It's sad as we loved stopping here after a trip to Julian for fresh baked treats and Doc Brown's Root Beer.  Looks like we will have to buy all our baked treats at one of the Julian bakeries like Apple Alley that bakes their pies every morning.  https://www.hungryones.com/2021/10/apple-alley-bakery/ Staff was nice and efficient.
